MSNBC caught out in a racist lie

So you need proof the mainstream media twists the news?
Pictured above is a BLACK man wearing a semi-automatic firearm at a town meeting of Pres Obama in Arizona. This man was filmed and photographed moving among a crowd of anti-Obama protestors. Now note the use of this BLACK man’s gun in the MSNBC news clip below – which deals specifically with the ‘white racism’ towards Obama. MSNBC however showed only the gun – editing out the black man’s face. The female commentator then made a reference to ‘white people wearing guns to meetings attended by Obama’. The point they were trying to make is that white people hated having a black man in the White House… but they illustrated their point with a clip, carefully edited to show only the semi-automatic gun, while not showing the face of the black man who was filmed carrying it.

“ Remember the pics we posted the other day about the gathering in Arizona that showed some protesters sporting guns?
Fox News Channel is the fastest growing news outlet in the world because of one reason, it doesn't fabricate the truth. CNN which once used to occupy the number 1 spot has fallen to a dismal third place just behind MSNBC. Fox still outranks MSNBC and CNN combined x two!
Why?
“Because most mainstream media in the US (and it's the same everywhere else in the West) have stopped reporting and now MAKE UP the "news". Most swing to the Left and are heavily biased towards liberal issues.But that's not the only reason.
“All news outlets except Fox treat the viewers as if they are idiots and admittedly those that still believe the crap that comes from those channels are but with the internet, with simple Googling for FACTS (oh them facts again, they can be so stubborn) everything can be VERIFIED. Important word that: verified.
“People are able to obtain and ascertain facts and indeed get more information. You will recall how Google crashed when Michael Jackson died. The television news wasn't enough, people immediately turned to the web to check and find out more.So back to my point.
- “The protestors in Arizona included a black man carrying a holstered handgun and a semi-automatic (you saw the pics right?) yet observe in this video from MSNBC how they edited out the black man's face, continued to show the rest of the protesters who were all supposedly just white, of course.
“What angle did MSNBC run with? That this footage "proved" that the anti-Obamacare protests had a racial element to it. That whites hated a "black man in the white House" etc etc. Hello?!
- “The man used in the footage was a BLACK man! LOOK at the camera aimed at the black man's face (on the photograph above)!
“But that's really how these leftwing media nuts do their business and then wonder why Fox continues to stream ahead.

Bliksem! How Afrikaners kick ass in a blockbuster

Writes Henry:
“District 9 has klapped the US box-office for six, clogged the blogosphere with fan posts and garnered almost unanimously favourable reviews (apart from, most notably, the wildly off-target New York Press review by the troll-like Armond White).
“It's got some weak bits, sure, but it's a rollicking sci-fi blockbuster with more depth than any offering from the genre in a long time. The premise is that aliens have arrived in Johannesburg and have been relocated into the titular area just outside of the city. It becomes a slum that needs to be relocated.
The review appears next week when the film opens, but in the meantime here are some reasons why District 9 will fizz in your onnerbroekies.
Afrikaners is plesierig
Don't you like the idea of millions of people across the world trying to pronounce Wikus van der Merwe? It's not every day that you get to see an Afrikaans action star shouting "Bliksem!" while kicking ass in an armoured mechanical suit. Well, if you don't live in Boksburg, that is.
If 6 turned out to be 9
The film got me thinking about what would've happened if the residents of District 6 had had the same hi-tech weaponry as the aliens of District 9. My granny would probably still be there on her stoep in Hanover Street, with her laser-cannon across her lap. Group Areas Act se moer.
A star is born
SABC3 newsman Mahendra Ragunath makes his big-screen debut. Sure, he might be playing himself for all of 15 seconds, but this is just the start, people. Rumours are that he'll play Marc Lottering in the story of his life. Hollywood ubiquity looms.
Local is lekker
While trawling movie sites, it's become apparent that many international filmgoers and critics miss out on the film's subtleties. ‘Apartheid's legacy, xenophobic violence, Rainbow Nation rhetoric, class distinctions, virulent crime and other South African realities are represented.
“Director Neill Blompkamp, who lived in SA till he was 18, has succeeded in making a blockbuster that can only be fully appreciated by South Africans.”
- “Make sure that you see it. Hell, make sure that you see it twice.”

Government fails to release ‘cruelty in violent-crime’ probe report
Report on extreme cruelty of violent crime is complete – but just doesn’t get released…
August 21 2009 – PRETORIA, South Africa. The Freedom Front Plus slammed the SA government for not releasing a commissioned report by the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation into the reasons for the violent nature of crime. FF+ parliamentarian Pieter Groenewald points out that the Minister of Police, Nathi Mthetwa, has confirmed that the report on the extreme violence accompanying many crimes in SA, commissioned in September, has been completed. Yet it’s still ‘being considered by the Cabinet Committee on Crime Prevention and Security.”
“This investigation has been outstanding for a very long time because the previous Minister of Safety and Security, Mr. Charles Nqakula, had already in September 2006 ordered an investigation into this issue. The cruelty with which violent crimes are perpetrated is very disconcerting and the reasons for it are very important in order to act preventatively, “ said Groenewald.
“The full report must be made known to the public and should not be edited by the Cabinet Committee. The Minister should also explain what the reason for the delay is in publicising the report”, Groenewald , who is the party’s chief spokesman for the Policing Portfolio, said.
Groenewald is still hammering away at the issue, resubmitted follow-up, written questions as required, demanding to know from the Minister of Police whether this comprehensive report will even be made known to the public – and exactly when this could happen.
Meanwhile Jaco Mulder, the party’s MPL and provincial leader in Gauteng’s legislature, said that the uncontrolled influx from across the borders of South Africa and total freedom of movement of millions of illegal aliens resident within South Africa, gives a free pass to intended criminals.
“South Africans are at the mercy of criminals who can move around freely in residential areas and farm areas and scout (for crime opportunities). This puts the SA Police Service’s already poor crime intelligence ability, at an even greater disadvantage,’ he said.
“The human rights culture which is being propagated in South Africa can only be of value in a society where people respect each other’s rights. South Africa is however not such a country. We have already seen that the state fails the constitution of the country and can not guarantee the safety of its citizens.
“The FF Plus demands that the government enforces access control into South Africa from its neighbouring countries and restrict the freedom of movement of loiterers”, Mulder added.
“The government is sacrificing us for a dream which through their own doing has turned into a nightmare.”
