Hijackers got their come-uppance in Benoni
While returning to their residential home, pictured left, the white couple were blocked in
in their driveway by a luxury-Audi with three armed black males inside. Luckily, their son was home at the time and in an effort to protect his parents, he shot with his personal firearm at the three armed men -- emptying his entire magazine, all seventeen rounds.
One attacker was shot square in the head and was dead on the spot; the second one was injured criticically; and the driver was slightly wounded and managed to drive off with his injured buddies inside the car. The SAPS discovered the shot-up Audi in a parking garage of a shopping centre not far away.
From the photos below it becomes quite apparent what damage the shooter inflicted on the robbers - one armed robber lies dead in the Audi.

According to police, the shooter single-handedly took out one of the worst armed-robbery gangs that had been terrorising the neighbourhood the entire month. The family also had high praise for all the police officers that investigated this incident.
Family members said the ‘police acted in a highly professional way and went out of their way to assist the distressed family.” This is clearly a prime example that many police officers in this country are still willing to do their jobs and to go that extra mile to help those in need!

Farmer Cornelia de Wet shot at, and then her homestead was torched… she’s lucky to still be alive…
May 20 2010 – Farmer Cornelia de Wet was working with her sheep on her farm Kwaggafontein near Carolina when she was shot from a distance and injured in a leg. She was then treated at the local hospital. Police refused to accept her case and ordered her ‘not to speak to the news media’.
Then her house was torched: "They were bent on killing us. This had nothing to do with theft," said Mrs de Wet, 32. She woke up to the smell of smoke at about 22:00. She saw the wall and the curtain in her room were in flames. The attackers had poured diesel on the house before setting it on fire – with her inside. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=111574382205718&v=app_2373072738#!/topic.php?uid=111574382205718&topic=102
