“DUTCH MUNICIPALITIES MUST STOP GIVING MICRO-CREDITS TO SOUTH AFRICA’ – DEMANDS LIBERAL PARTY

The Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad writes on Feb 17 2010 that the liberal Dutch VVD-party has created a row with its demands for cash-strapped local municipalities to stop giving microcredits to countries like South Africa. Parliamentarian Edith Schippers says the great many development-aid programmes by local municpalities are ‘inappropriate use of taxpayers’ money -  especially when they fail to address the many poverty and race-relations problems inside municipalities’ own borders’.

Schippers cites as an example the still unresolved race-riots between Maroccan Muslims and Moluccan Christians which plunged the town of Culemborg (incidentially: the birthplace of Cape Town’s VOC-founder Jan van Riebeeck) into weeks of racist violence and neighbourhoods plunged into constant fear of new outbreaks. She points out that while all municipalities with more than 100,000 residents have development-aid programmes to help poor communities in South Africa; this is an ‘inappropriate use of taxpayers  money’ – with many programmes inefficient and administered by officials who are totally inexperienced in the field of development aid.  “It’s just thrown-away money” said Schippers. The municipalities are of course irate over the comments which are touching a sore nerve in the the runup to the municipal elections on March 3. Other issues raised by candidates are the large number of foreign-born candidates whose campaign posters are only written in Turkish or Maroc.

Sun City public relations manager Colleen van Eyk murdered week before FIFA-medical conference.

Beeld newspaper reports on February 17 2010 that the Sun City ‘s public-relations- and marketing manager Ms Colleen van Eyk (60) was found murdered in her apartment at the world-famous gambling resort – just before the start of an international sports-medicine conference by world-football federation FIFA. Beeld journalists Linda de Beer and Retha Grobbelaar also report that FIFA refuses to comment on the Afrikaans woman’s mysterious murder.

suncity_header-newThe bad news has reportedly badly shaken the staffers at the world-famous gambling paradise. Ms van Eyk (60) was reading a book when she was attacked and strangled to death with a telephone cable on Sunday-night inside her flat at the resort -- moreover her head injuries indicate that she was “repeatedly smashed against a wall with her head”. This was confirmed by SAPS superintendent Lesego Metsi, of the North West provincial police department.

Censorship of ‘bad-news reports’ insisted on by FIFA’s boss Sepp Blatter – the unofficial president of South Africa

He also is the only SAPS official in the province which the news media is allowed to quote under the extensive censorship-rules which were announced shortly before the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

A Sun City employee came across Ms Van Eyk’s body. Police said there were no signs of any forced entry into her flat and she had apparently been reading a book when she was murdered. There is no report that anything was missing either.

The FIFA medical conference starts Friday and ends on Sunday-night. It is expected that all 32 teams’ physical therapists will attend the conference which will be followed by a workshop at Sun City for the teams’ trainers. FIFA – as usual – refused to comment on the mysterious murder. Sun International said Ms Van Eyk had worked for them since 1992 and that she had been a very valuable employee. “Her death is terribly upsetting for all of us. We wish to extend our most sincere condolances to her family. We can assure them that we will work very closely with the SAPS to make certain that her death will be most thoroughly investigated” the SUN INTERNATIONAL statement said. Abduraqhiem Abrahams (19) shot dead in the middle of a sports-event at Eersterust Pretoria

Abrahams Abduraqhiem father of child of Melonice Moses Eersterust murdered at soccer event In this picture by Beeld photographer Thena Calitz - Ms Melonice Moses – the mother of the murdered Abudraqhiem Abrahams’ baby girl - is being consoled by a friend after the young Abrahams was gunned down just seconds after he’d given his 7-month-baby  Neshen to someone else to hold while watching an athletics meet. Abrahams – a UNISA student who lived in Paul Pietersen Road in Eeersterust near Pretoria; and his life-partner were standing on the highest levels of the main sports pavillion watching the athletics meet between two local schools when he was gunned down by a group of armed men. It had been the second attempt on his life said his family – someone had also tried to shoot him while he was in his car last Thursday – but had missed. His brother Igsaan (25) was also shot dead in September 2008 in Eersterust and Igsaan’s murderers have been charged with his murder.

Screaming and terrified pupils scattered in all directions when the student was shot dead amidst the crowd at the pavillion. Ms Moses said she was ‘still trying to pull him out of the way when the gunmen came for him but they had already shot him. “Things went so fast that I could not identify the people who had shot him” she told Beeld – weeping bitterly.  Police constable Portia Maleka said no-one else was injured but the athletics meet was ended and everybody was sent  home. The dead man’s granddad  Toyer Abrahams (69), blames himself: “if I hadn’t been such a nuisance by sending him to buy petrol for the bakkie he would still be alive” said the old man – adding that the youth must have decided to go and greet his girlfriend and the baby at the athletics meet after he’d thrown in petrol. “This is the second grandchild who was raised in my house and has been murdered” said Toyer. He’s also bitter with the SAPS – for not capturing the attackers who had made the previous attempt on Abduraqhiem’s life. “Minutes before he was shot dead I had still left a message with the Eersterust police station commander asking him when we could expect them to arrest the shooters’. “We aren’t gangsters – my grandson had matriculated with one distinction and he was planning to become a lawyer. He loved his baby girl and now she’s been left without a dad”. Police said the police “had taken four men in for questioning” who had been seen driving away from the shooting scene shortly afterwards.Mr Abrahams was buried by sunset according to the Islamicreligious rules. http://www.beeld.com/Content/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/1928/147ab926b3484a9eab81ae67065ea843/15-02-2010-11-13/Moord_by_skolesport

Disabled pupils raped at Filadelfia School in Soshanguve – but their rapist-teachers still work there…

A shocking report appeared in Sowetan on February 17 20010 with its very thorough investigative journalist McKeed Kotlolo being told by disabled pupils: "We don’t know what to do when teachers call us. We are scared they will rape us".  The sexual abuse of pupils at the world-famous residential Filadelfia School for the disabled in Soshanguve -- which houses more than 400 blind; deaf; and physically disabled pupils and runs on grants from foreign charities and the SA government  -  has reportedly taken place over recent years.  Three cases of abuse have already been confirmed writes Sowetan.

Filadelphia school at Soshanguve entertained by Aviv Quartet of Israel The South African school was first placed on the international map by the world-famous disabled American woman Judy Hoit – author of the book My World Has Access Now... - after she’d visited the school on February 5 1998. The disabled American – who also was the poster child for the March of Dimes - wrote: “Two choirs sang to me that day. One choir was strictly students physically disabled, and the other choir were students who were blind. I sat in the center of the auditorium and listened to their African songs with tears in my eyes. It was hard for me to believe that I was sitting in the middle of South Africa being sung to. It was one of the most touching moments of my trip.” Picture: In June 2005 the school also was entertained by the world-famous Aviv Quartet from Israel Report.

Raped disabled pupils expelled when they fall pregnant…

Filadephia school of shame Sowetan front pageThe Sowetan ‘s journalist reports that nine staff members, including teachers, have been accused of raping disabled pupils at the school north of Pretoria. Yet no criminal charges have been laid and eight of the accused rapist-teachers still work there. It is also claimed that some of the victims who fell pregnant as a result of the rapes, were expelled, while their abusers continue being employed at the school. Four of the alleged abusers are teachers, three are security guards and a cook. Another teacher resigned in December after reportedly admitting to ‘sexual misconduct*” (*this is an inaccurate definition: rape is not a ‘sexual’ act but an act of hatred and revenge towards its victims all top crime experts on this subject agree.)

Sowetan writes in its front page story: “The alleged rapes apparently occurred in the mornings when pupils and teachers were meant to report for morning assembly. The guards are accused of going to the girls’ dormitories. It is claimed that the teachers under suspicion would bunk morning assembly and instead send pupils SMSes instructing them to report to class – where they were then abused. One deaf pupil was allegedly abused daily by eight staffers for about two years. In August last year she decided not to return to school for the third term. Her mother accused the school management of having failed her as “they did not even make me aware of my daughter’s ordeal. I am prepared to take it to the highest court. I am going to see officials from GDE’s labour section who visited the school following the complaints. I am not returning home until I get to the bottom of this.”

“The Gauteng department of education confirmed that allegations of sexual misconduct were being investigated. It’s not understood why eight of these alleged perpetrators are still working at the same school however: the department’s spokesman Charles Phahlane said his department “had issued letters to the alleged perpetrators – eight of whom are still working at the school – to explain their versions of events before the possible drawing up of a charge sheet”.

No criminal cases lodged:

Phahlane said they were investigating “all allegations”, including that of the principal protecting the alleged perpetrators. He said criminal cases would not be opened until the department and parents discussed the matter. Sowetan also interviewed several former and current pupils of Filadelfia, as well as their parents and members of the school governing body. Staffers declined to talk to Sowetan about the allegations, saying they were warned not to discuss the matter with anyone. Pupils at the school say they lived in fear of being abused. “We do not even know how to respond when some of the teachers call us because we are afraid of being abused,” said one of them. “Learners decide to change subjects to avoid being taught by some of the alleged perpetrators.” Another pupil said she was regularly raped by two teachers during school hours – for almost a year. http://www.sowetan.co.za/News/Article.aspx?id=1114597

“Berserker’ Hartbeespoort smallholder shoots dead young woman’s prized Siberian Husky pup

Eastes Allecia 20 with her other dogs Her husky was shot dead by a berserker at Hartbeespoort AH Feb162010 Beeld Alta Snyman of Beeld reports from Hartbeespoort that a male “berserker’ shot dead 20-year-old Allecia Eastes’ prized Siberian Husky. Her fiancee David Alkers had given her the 10-month old pup because it had been a lifelong dream of hers to own one.  About three weeks ago the couple moved into an apartment on a Bokfontein smallholding between Mooinooi and Hartbeespoort with their animals. The owner’s house and six townhouses also are located at the smallholding. Eastes – 11 weeks pregnant – was asleep when a man showed up at around 11:30am and started shooting at her dogs in the fenced-in camp behind the apartment. Her huskyy Montego; Kiara the mixed-breed fighting dog and the dachshund Mini-Me were inside the enclosure. “According to the workers the man first shot at the dogs near the other townhouses. Those dogs then fled inside and he then walked over to our camp; called Montego over and shot him dead with one shot through the head. I woke up from the shot” said Eastes. Then she saw the man walking into their enclosure and throwing her dead dog over the fence ‘to make it look as if he was shot outside’. “Then the man -  revolver in hand -- started plucking at our door-knobs” she said. The man apparently was complaining that her dog had ‘eaten one of his parrots’’ however there’s no sign that this had ever happened. Eastes had never met the man and it was terribly traumatic for the young pregnant woman when an armed man started plucking at their doors trying to get in. She has bad memories: two months earlier a family member was murdered on a farm near Rustenburg. Police captain Aafje Botma of the North West police department confirmed that a dossier has been opened under the Law for the Protection of Animals and that other charges could also be added. The unnamed man hasn’t been back at his townhouse since his outburst and the police has been ‘unable to get his statement or investigate his ownship of firearms’ said Botma.http://www.beeld.com/Content/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/1928/6a255918a13246ef8ac448fb1d909278/17-02-2010-12-12/%E2%80%98Mal%E2%80%99_man_skiet_poolhond_deur_die_kop_op_kleinhoewe

Beaufort West girl, 11: murdered - some toes cut off;  raped…

Daniels Warronie 11 toes cut off raped mutilated BWest WC 2010_02_15 (2)The rape, murder and mutilation of an 11-year-old girl has rocked the Beaufort West community, with some residents saying they are living in fear reports Cape Argus staff reporter Esther Lewis.

The body of Warronie Daniels, 11, was found near a river on Saturday morning. Police spokesman captain David de Klerk said it appeared the girl had been raped and strangled, and that some of her toes were cut off.  A 37-year-old man from Hillside was arrested and appeared in the Beaufort West Magistrate's Court on Monday. He faces charges of rape and murder. The case was postponed to Monday. Warronie lived with her grandmother Marie Pheiffer and her uncle Leon Pheiffer In Hillside in the Karoo town of Beaufort West.

Police captain David de Klerk said it appeared the girl had been raped and strangled, and that some of her toes were cut off. Last Tuesday at about 7pm, she packed her school uniform in a backpack and said she was going to sleep at her aunt's house a few blocks from her home.

Leon said he told Warronie it was too late for her to go anywhere. But the girl insisted, and left her tiny one-bedroom home soon afterwards. It was the last time her family saw her alive.

On Thursday, when the Grade 6 pupil still hadn't come home, Leon started looking for her. He went to her aunt's home, but was told that she never arrived. "Then I knew something was wrong," Leon said. He said her teacher confirmed that she had not been to school all week. At the weekend, Leon had the grim task of identifying her body. "I wasn't sure if it was her, because her face didn't look too good. I felt very sad seeing her like that," Leon said.

Warronie had lived with her grandmother and uncle since she was one year old. "It's so quiet without her. We are very hurt by what happened," Marie said. Dianne Diedericks, a neighbour, said the murder had rattled the community. "We all used to trust each other. But we're scared because we don't know what could happen. Now we need to protect our children."

Eugene Bastian, principal at St Matthews Primary where Warronie went to school, said her classmates were being brave, and would receive counselling. Her desk at the front of the class was empty on Tuesday morning. Her classmates described her as a quiet girl who loved reading. They said they would never forget her. They said the incident had frightened them, and taught them to be extra careful with strangers. Euna Wentzel, a child support co-ordinator for children's rights organisation Molo Songololo, said Warronie's case was part of a bigger child safety issue in Beaufort West. She said harsher sentences should be imposed on offenders, and added that bail should not be granted to those who committed violent crimes. 24 hour nightmare for waving away the South African president

A Cape Town student says his life has been “destroyed” after he was arrested last week for “waving away” President Jacob Zuma’s noisy, blue-light convoy. A “notice of rights” document issued by police shows that Chumani Maxwele, 25, was charged with “Crimen injuria against the president of the RSA”. Maxwele was jogging on Cape Town’s De Waal Drive just before 6pm last Wednesday when a convoy of six government cars sped past him.

Zuma heavies attack jogger and jail him for 24 hours“I waved them away, as if to say ‘hamba’, because of the noise. After that a black BMW X5 pulled up and three guys jumped out, pointing guns at me,” Maxwele told Sowetan. This was the start of a 24-hour nightmare for Maxwele, who is an active member of the ANC’s Cissie Gool branch in Woodstock, a fact confirmed by his chairwoman Vanessa Wood.

“They pushed me into their car and shouted at me that I had disrespected the president. They pulled a bag over my head and drove me to Zuma’s residence,” Maxwele said.He was transferred first to the Rondebosch police station and then to the Mowbray police station. Mowbray police accused him of saying that Zuma had seven wives. They claimed he insulted Zuma – and told him “intelligence” agents would deal with him.

The next morning, people whom he believed to be intelligence agents arrived to interrogate him. “They said they were from a higher office in Pretoria. They asked me my opinion of Zuma. I told them I support Zuma as a disciplined member of the ANC. I didn’t know it was Zuma’s convoy. It could have been Helen Zille’s convoy, but they jumped to this conclusion that I am a Zuma hater,” Maxwele said.

The “agents” also asked Maxwele for his friends’ names and those of the chairpersons of his ANC branch and of his community policing forum. Maxwele said the agents told him “be careful what you do when a convoy passes because people are sensitive. Don’t touch your head or your waist”.In the meantime, plain-clothes officers raided his house, going through his personal diaries and notebooks. Maxwele spent the day in holding cells underneath Wynberg magistrate’s court. Almost 24 hours after his arrest, police arrived and told him to “get out”. “I didn’t appear before a magistrate. I feel destroyed because this can have a bad impact on my quest for future employment and travelling.” Maxwele will consult lawyers on what action to take against the police. “That’s my jogging route. What if I see the convoy again? Must I abide by an invisible law?” Meanwhile, the identity of the agents remains a mystery. National Intelligence Agency spokesperson Fikani Dube said “none of our members were involved”. Zweli Mnisi, speaking for Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa, could not confirm that police intelligence officers were involved. Constable Monique Hendricks of Mowbray police station confirmed that “the state” had charged Maxwele with “crimen injuria” around “a Zuma matter”.http://www.sowetan.co.za/News/Article.aspx?id=1114335

SAPS saves 10 smuggled girls from sex-slavery hell in Bloemfontein– police links to human-smuggling ring probed

Within 20 years of ANC-rule the sober Calvinist Free State town of Bloemfontein has become a sex-slavery mecca for international crime-syndicates, reports the local Afrikaans newspaper Volksblad on February 12  2010.

Clark Shamiela South African woman jailed for prostition ring in Wales with African kidsAfter this week’s two coordinated raids by Parkway SAPS, the traffic police, the military police and the local municipal police on three suspect apartment buildings, ten young kidnapped girls were rescued from the clutches of a Nigerian international sex-slavery syndicate which had just smuggled the terrified children from the nearby country of Lesotho as well as from Johannesburg.
Picture: Police warn that many international people-smuggling syndicates are increasingly kidnapping young children from across southern Africa and even as far away as Portugal and Eastern Europe to force them into brothels in time for the sex-tourism trade -- expected to soar around the FIFA World Cup 2010 football tournaments in June-July 2010.

Only this month Shamiela Clark, left, a South African woman, was jailed in Wales with her Irish husband for running a sophisticated multi-million international sex-slavery ring with 36 brothels. The Wales police said the couple had also had advanced plans to set up similar operations in South Africa soon: some of the girls in the Irish brothels turned out to be smuggled Nigerian children who were kept naked in the brothels and forced to work for up to 15 hours – too terrified because of fear of voodoo practices to even try to flee. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/feb/04/wales-prostitution-nigeria-court-carroll

Guard your children like gold at malls and sporting events, warns Missing children organisation
Nana Rechner of The Pink Ladies Organisation for Missing Children also  issues the same warnings – and proffered easy to carry out precautions to prevent children from going missing at all such sporting events and also at malls: such as writing a cellphone number on the children’s arm with a kogi pen, tagging the children with name, address and cell phone number; and to not take children along to shopping malls: “rather leave them at home with someone reliable.” Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?drop&ref=mb#!/group.php?gid=84720800513
The Bloemfontein apartment complex – which used to house the Free State capitol city’s working class young white families – has now become a haven for drug-dealers, mostly illegal migrants from other African countries, living on the proceeds of crime in vile living conditions with many migrant families at the total mercy of abusive landlords. Raided were the Tuishuis, Aliwal and Belmar Court apartment buildings, writes Volksblad.
During the raids, ten young abused girls, some as young as 16 years, were discovered. They had just been smuggled with promises of legal jobs from Lesotho and Johannesburg and pressed into sex-slavery this week. Police Captain Harry Nagel said the girls had pleaded with the police to help them. The children had been brought from Lesotho and Johannesburg on Wednesday- and Thursday nights and put up in brothels run by an organised group of Nigerian men,  he said. Some of the girls said their parents don’t even know where they are and they want to be reunited with their families. Nagel said the girls are receiving help from the an expert organisation dealing with such problems: the Mensehandel forum. The sex-slavers themselves however had absconded and are still missing, he added. Nagel said similar raids will be carried out until the child-sex slavery rings have all been eradicated in the city. “We want to send out the message that Bloemfontein won’t serve as the base for any kind of criminal activities” he said.
During last Friday’s raids three men were also arrested in the Tuishuis-complex and charged with human slavery. Meanwhile profiles of all the girls found to be ‘working’ for these men have been drawn up – and these profiles will assist the police in establishing links to other child-sex traders. Yesterday an illigal migrant from Malawi was also arrested at Belmar Court. The municipal officials who accompanied the police have also said none of the three buildings are fit and safe for human habitation and will be locked down.
  • Police abuse girls in the sex-trade:
  • Meanwhile Volksblad has also revealed another disturbing feature of this terrifying sex-industry: while the SAPS were getting ready to carry out the raids on the buildings, Volksblad photographers also photographed two uniformed police officers emerging with a ‘sex-worker’ from one of the buildings. While these two uniformed policemen were getting into their police van they also tried to stop Volksblad from photographing them. One of the girls’ friends said the “policemen had been at the building to do business’. In an earlier report this week Volksblad had also revealed that at least a dozen members of the local constabulary force were frequenting the brothels and often brutally beat the girls  if they didn’t give them sex for free. The girls had become so terrified of all police as a result that they had initially been too scared to lodge formal charges.  Volksblad http://www.volksblad.com/Content/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/2114/0c4df83bf2854134b23d6a0d986e9e6e/13-02-2010-05-52/Polisie_red_10_meisies_uit_sekshel

Man tries to kidnap Afrikaans toddler from fierce Klerksdorp grandmother
2010-02-10
Klerksdorp. – A 5-year-old Afrikaans girl was saved from a kidnapper by her 73-year-old grandmother – who kept clutching the child, screaming loudly that the child was being kidnapped – and fighting back against the man who was trying to grab her beloved grandchild from her in broad daylight.  The family’s name is being withheld for security reasons – they are well-known local residents.
The grandmother now is in Wilmed Park private hospital with bruises to her upper body, heart problems and severe shock after the incident at 14:50 in William Street. And the child’s mother has issued a warning to all parents: ‘be aware of strangers in your environment.’ The police is however only investigating an ‘attempted robbery:”  the child’s cellphone was picked up when it fell from a pocket during the struggle. There is a sudden surge of attempted kidnappings this month. Earlier a young Afrikaans mom had been accosted while returning from the supermarket with her child in a stroller by a man who had dragged the mom to a tree, tied her up by her neck and tried to grab the child away from her. In this case the mother also put up a fierce fight – and in both cases the kidnappings were thwarted by passersby. The LKlerksdorp grandmother said yesterday from her hospital bed that she ‘didn’t know where she’d found the strength’ to defend her grandchild from the kidnapper. “We had gone for a walk. An unknown man came and stood in front of us stopping us with his body from continuing our walk while asking for the street name. I answered and wanted to continue, holding my granddaughter and the next moment he grabbed her. I clawed to her and screamed. I know at once stage we both fell down.” The grandmother is no stranger to violence: a year earlier she had been attacked at her previous home and nearly murdered – the attacker had shoved his fist into her mouth at that time in his attempt to smother her. Since that time she’s been staying with her daughter and son-in-law. A woman who happened to drive past while the struggle with the kidnappr was going on immediately turned her car around and drove towards them – and the man then ran away. The grandmother told the newspaper that she then saw the fleeing man jump into a ‘bottle-blue car’ with three other men which then drove off.’ Te family is full of praise for the unknown woman who was ‘brave enough to get involved and thus prevented a possible tragedy,’ said the child’s mother. “the entire family has been traumatised by this. My daughter now wants to only sleep in her baby bed and she’s terrifed. My eight-year-old son refused to go to school on Tuesday. Be aware of strangers in your environment. God has saved my child and we must all pray that this evil will disappear from our city, ‘ said the mother. The man managed to pick up a cellphone which had fallen from the child’s pocket during the struggle. Police inspector Wilmarie van der Merwe said the only thing they are investigating is ‘an attempted robbery.’  http://www.nuus24.com/Content/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/1479/d964735a81ae4c05b47ab4b46a35eacf/10-02-2010-06-49/Man_probeer_5-jarige_in_ryk_buurt_ontvoer_

Bezuidenhout children without a future after murder of their dad on January 30 2010
Bossie Bezuidenhout - a support action for murder victim family launched NELSPRUIT. On 30 January 2010, local businessman Bossie Bezuidenhout was mercilessly gunned down in his new home in Shandon, leaving his wife and two small children without a husband, father and breadwinner.
Only minutes after five-year-old Lauren Bezuidenhout had said her little bedtime-prayer: ‘Thank you dear Jesus for our nice new home and that we are so happy’, her unarmed dad Bossie, 45, was shot dead by armed attackers on the ground-floor of their new, high-security Nelspruit home.
Mr Bezuidenhout, wife Karen 39, and their children Lauren and Jarrod, 11, had just had milk-shakes in the kitchen at 8.30pm together before going to bed, while grandmom Tina, 65, was busy elsewhere in the new Shandon Estates double-storey dream-home they had just moved into. A family friend, Mrs Karin Visagie, said Mr Bezuidenhout had gone downstairs while the children were being put to bed. Loud shouting and a shot were heard, and it was found that a bullet fired into his neck had killed the father of two, probably by ‘burglars’, she said.
His widow turns 40 years old this Wednesday and her husband was planning to surprise her with a romantic weekend, said Mrs Visagie.  Her husband Ronnie had been Bossie Bezuidenhout friend of 35 years. Bossie was a graduate of the Afrikaans Rob Ferreira High School in nearby White River and it had always been his lifelong dream to return to Nelspruit. He had purchased a business from Mr Visagie a year ago. Mr Bezuidenhout had moved from Silver Lakes, Pretoria to Nelspruit in May 2009, and his family had followed him in November after the schools closed. They moved into their ‘dream-home’ on Saturday.
Police detective-superintendent Supt. Gerrie Agenbag of the Nelspruit police said they suspect that Mr Bezuidenhout was shot dead with a revolver – a bullet-point was found at the murder scene, but there were no spent cartridges on the scene.
“From traces we found outside the house it looks as if there may have been two or three attackers,’ he said.

The high-security Shandon Estates Company property has had a number of armed attacks over the past two months, Beeld reports. Mr Charles Venter, an ex-mayor and neighbour of the Bezuidenhouts, also was attacked and badly assaulted late last year. A think-tank to develop future survival strategies for this hard-hit Afrikaner family was heldon February 10 at 18:00 at Emotweni Arena in Nelspruit. Residents are urged to try and help this family. We Support "Lana" Stevenson (14) of Hartbeespoort -- yet another South African RAPE victim
Lana Stevenson 14 Rape Victim Support Group Logo Steve Loock - who runs the Facebook Support group for rape victim Lana Stevenson, 14  writes on 11 February: “Lana's rape case had been closed down by the police, apparently because they have no information on her assailants' whereabouts, and they can't find anymore clues to assist them in the case. They've given up, capitulated, and abandoned Lana, meaning she is now just part of the statistics. But we say NO WAY, our fight for justice is going on.”
“Lana" (not her real name) Stevenson, a 14-year-old South African schoolgirl, was brutally raped by armed attackers who invaded her family home in Hartbeespoort near Pretoria in March 2009. Ever since the incident people close to her have been hard at work, trying to get some justice done, but to no avail. Police are apparently refusing to assist Lana and her family, friends, and other loved ones, and no arrests had yet been made. And now the case has been dropped. The young girl was severely traumatized by the rape and also has to take anti-Aids medical treatment following her ordeal.
Loock writes that at the end of February all its members will be polled, asked to vote YES we stand by Lana and are going to continue our fight, or NO, we're going to let it go, and let this matter to rest. Meanwhile he calls on all keep on spreading the word, and to try and get justice for Lana.

South African police increasingly criminal – documentary by Susan Puren on M-Net Carte Blanche TV
The once so proud, motivated, well-skilled, capable  South African Police force meanwhile is also increasingly criminal and demoralised – joining robbery-gangs and helping criminals carry out crimes and targetting the citizens they had sworn to protect.
That’s another reason why they won’t be able to protect the many tens of thousands of well-heeled football tourists. This was highlighted once again by South Africa’s best investigative journalist, the relentless Susan Puren of M-Net’s Carte Blanche, who revealed in her latest documentary “Blue Lights’ that specifically lone white females are targetted by rogue police-officers who abuse their authority by arresting women on faked charges just to get them inside a police cell ‘to show them a lesson”(i.e. to humiliate and rape them.) M-Net does not advertise its clips on YouTube. A clip from the M-net report can however be seen on http://beta.mnet.co.za/carteblanche/Article.aspx?Id=3836&ShowId=1

 suncity_header-new ---------------------------------------------------------------

The bad news has reportedly badly shaken the staffers at the world-famous gambling paradise.
