Afriforum protestors clash with cops

Friday March 19 2010 - The attempt by Afriforum Youth members to deliver to ANC youth leader Julius Malema a name-list of murdered Afrikaner farmers 
didn't quite go down as planned. The march by the Afrikaners was banned at the last minute; nobody would take delivery of the list – and then it nearly got very ugly as police intervened. The precious list of the murdered Afrikaners was eventually tossed from the ANC headquarters and trampled into the gutter. (picture).
They wanted to deliver the name-list after Malema had claimed in his infamous ‘Shoot all the boers because they are all rapists’ speeches that the vast majority of people killed on farms were blacks – killed by white farmers.
This infuriated the Afrikaner civil rights movement to such an extent that they have lodged formal charges of hatespeech against Malema – and decided to hand-deliver the name-list of more than 3,145 murdered Afrikaner farmers and their relatives to the youth leader himself.
However the cops formed a solid wall against the Afrikaner supporters who wanted to deliver the document to the ANC headquarters in Johannesburg. In the end only five representatives were still at the wall of cops - trying to deliver the document while their group of around 200 supporters were behind them in Mary Fitzgeald square. Which is just as well: because if some of the hotheads there (who threatened to go ahead with a march even though it was considered illegal, and police had a strong presence) have been at Luthuli House, there would have been serious trouble, it is being reported.

While en route to the confrontation, Afriforum Youth leader Ernts Roets revealed something he said he chose not to tell the waiting crowd, for fear of creating a mob. In a meeting with Malema on Thursday, Roets said, the ANC Youth League leader cited the IFP march on Shell House in Johannesburg as an example of what would happen should Roet's organisation conduct a march with his, Malema's, permission. The ANC youth leader referred to the fact that on that illfated day, 28 March 1994, nineteen people had been murdered. It is anybody's guess whether that veiled threat or the subsequent treatment of Afriforum's memorandum will create the most anger among white Afrikaners.
After Kriel hurled the document over the heads of the police and small crowd, and right through the open doors of the building, it came saling back onto the pavement. Therethe precious name-list was stepped on and kicked into the gutter in what will be interpreted – whether or not it was so intended – as disrespect for those many thousands who were killed in farm attacks, the names of whom were included in the document.
"What we've seen here was nothing less than intimidation," Roets told an impromptu media conference through an open window as the group got back into their vehicle. "They were not even prepared to listen to the victims in South Africa, people who are being murdered on the farms. "The ANC and the Youth League do not even care about them."
Hofmeyr chose a more poignant turn of phrase. "I didn't expect anything civil…" he told journalists. "I believe we've slipped the moorings of a wonderful ideal. It's a bit sad."
Afriforum says the failure to deliver the memorandum isn't a particular problem, as it was only a courtesy before Malema gets to read about its grievances in court papers. Girl’s hands stolen by SA murderers
Hatespeech charge lodged against ANC youth league leader for chanting : ‘Kill the Boers, they are all rapists…’
PRETORIA, South Africa. Blonde teenager Anika Smit, (17) was found murdered at her Pretoria home on March 11, 2010 -- –with her hands and forearms chopped off within two days of a rabid hate-speech calling for the killing of ‘all Boers’ was delivered to a large group of local black students by ANC-youth league leader Julius Malema . The girl’s chopped-off limbs remain missing, said South African police constable William Mahlaole. Nothing else was robbed. However there is a flourishing trade in human body-parts for the so-called ‘traditional medicine’ (muti) market in South Africa. People – especially white farmers -- often are found mutilated.

The girl had stayed home from the Gerrit Maritz Afrikaans High School with an ear-infection, said her father Johan, 54. Her parents are divorced and she lived with her dad. Thursday-morning he still said goodbye to his only child before going to work. She still said to me ‘I love you dad,’ before I left. “She was lying on the floor without clothes on. Both her hands were cut off and missing. The people (her murderers) must have taken the limbs along with them,’ he said. “She was cut six times with a knife in the neck. Police examiners will have to determine if she was raped.’ From the crime scene it appeared that she fought back or tried to run away. The father had tried phoning her earlier but received no reply. He had arranged for medicine to be delivered to the house – but around noon the pharmacy phoned him with the news that no-one had opened the door.’“I phoned her around lunch-time but I thought she didn’t reply because she didn’t feel well,’ he said. The flag at her school was hanging at half-mast yesterday. André Snyman, head of the community crime watch organisation eBlockwatch, said they had helped to find Anika after she ran away from home in 2007."We do not know why she ran away. "For this to now happen is terrible. It's a tragedy," he said. Mahlaole said ‘the motive for the murder was unknown”as all her valuables including her cellphone were left intact. Formal hate-speech and racial-incitement charges lodged against ANC youth league leader who chanted: “Kill the Boers they are all rapists…’
March 10 2010 – BROOKLYN PRETORIA POLICE STATION -- Dr. Pieter Mulder, deputy minister of Agriculture and FF Plus leader, lays a criminal charge against ANC youth league leader Julius Malema at the Brooklyn Police Station. It followed after Malema had sung an ANC-activist song with the words "Kill the Boers, they are rapists". In 2003 the FF Plus also obtained a successful ruling at the the Human Rights Commission that the popular ANC-slogan "Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer" is ‘hate speech calling for the mass-murder of all South African whites’.

Dr. Pieter Mulder, FF Plus leader and deputy minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, on 10 March 2010 formally laid a charge against Mr. Julius Malema in terms of section 16 of the Constitution of South Africa in terms of which he has made himself guilty of hate speech.
The reason for the charge is that Mr. Malema on 9 March 2010, during an ANCYL meeting at the University of Johannesburg’s Doornfontein campus repeatedly sang and chanted the slogan “Kill the Boers, they are all rapists”.
As the South African Human Rights Commission on 17 July 2003 had classified the slogan “Kill the boer, kill the farmer” as hate speech, Mr. Malema is in contravention of section 16(2)(c) of the Constitution of South Africa. In terms of this section, no person may advocate hate which is based on the grounds of race, ethnicity, gender or religion and which incites action to cause harm to others.
The FF Plus is convinced that Mr. Malema, with this action advocated and incited hatred which could cause harm to citizens and makes himself guilty of the advocating of hate speech and the FF Plus demands that the SAPS investigates the case and take action.
The Minister of Police, Mr. Nathi Mthethwa, 8 March 2010 at a conference on farm safety which was hosted by AgriSA, made certain announcements to farmers to assist with the security of farms and to attempt to reduce the number of farm murders. Who knows this girl?
On November 16 2009 an unknown white girl was set alight while still alive – right next to a road at the sprawling Orange Farm squatter camp south of Johannesburg. SAPS Capt Mike van Aardt, one of Johannesburg's top crime-detectives, has taken on the gruesome murder investigation of this unknown girl – posting regular updates on his Facebook page. A week after starting his investigation, Captain van Aardt released a forensic sketch of what the white victim may have looked like -- and a photograph of the t-shirt she wore. Forensic examinations showed that the girl had been alive when she was set alight. He appealed to the public to help identify the young blonde -- believed to be aged between 15 and 20. Captain Van Aardt works with crack detective Piet Byleveld, has also investigated the notorious Moffat Park serial killer, the Sheldean Human murder, the Bruma Lake serial murders and various other high-profile cases.
The girl’s body was discovered in the early hours of November 16 next to Welgevonden Road. A passer-by reportedly saw the flames and called the police, although recent police reports said it was a police patrol van that came across the burning body shortly before 5am. Police officers at the scene told detectives there were “no suspicious-looking vehicles in the area and that patrol cars in the vicinity had been alerted immediately” . However their search was hamped because the morning traffic rush began, making it became impossible to spot suspicious-looking cars.The well-groomed white woman weighed around 60kg and was 1,7 metres tall. She had blonde hair about 35cm long, wore a size 4 shoe and a size 34A bra. Her fingernails were painted a pearl colour and her toes had red nailpolish. She lay about a metre from the main road and no effort had been made to hide her body. Alice (77) and Helen (57) Lotter – tortured to death; breasts, vaginas cut; March 30 2009, Allenridge farm Welkom Free State
In April 2009 outside the Odendaalsrust magistrate’s court about 300 Boer protestors staged a gruesome re-enactment showing exactly how two local farm women, Alice Lotter, 77, and her daughter Helen, 57, were tortured to death at their farm in Allenridge near Welkom in the Free State in March 2009.
ANC-mayor supported the murderers:
The Afrikaner/|Boer protestors who showed up with effigies with which they e-enacted their murders outside the Odendaalsrust law court were horrified by the cruel way in which these two frail women had been murdered. And – what made this entire matter even more loathsome, is that while the Afrikaners were protesting against the way these women had been tortured to death, they also simultaneously were being taunted and insulted by the local ANC-mayor -- who had drummed up a group of ANC-members for a counter-demonstration supporting the two murderers..
Stabbed in their vaginas, breasts cut off live…
According to forensic evidence, the Lotter mother and daughter had died excruciatingly painful deaths: they were tortured for hours – among they had to endure: they were stabbing broken glass bottles into their vaginas and anuses. One of the women also had her breasts cut off while she was alive – and their blood was then used to paint “Kill the Boer” hate-speech slogans on the walls of their homestead.
White Afrikaner police officers who investigated this slaughter and had to gather forensic evidence, were severely traumatised and required trauma counselling. And, despite the fact that the Lotter home was only one block away from the police station, no-one responded to the screams from these women while they were being slowly tortured to death.
The reason it was so difficult to obtain this information was that the South African mass media has practically ignored this horrendous slaughter. The English-language news media reported it in a two-paragraph story, omitting all the torture detail.s. The Afrikaans press also hugely diminished the shocking extent of the crimes. They simply reported that two women had been murdered, but did not breathe a single word of the mind-numbing brutality and shocking manner in which Alice & Helen Lotter were tortured to death.

What made this protest even more stressful for the relatives of the murdered Lotter women was the fact that the local ANC-mayoress had organised a counter-protest in support of the two murderers – simultaneously. The two groups (ANC group can be seen in the middle background) then stood side by side – trying to loudly outsing each other by singing Die Stem and N’Kosi Sikileli Africa. There was no violence.

African witchdoctor charged with muti-murders of 2 white farmers
- Accused murderer of Jan van Wyk, 82 and Basie Venter, 65, Viljoenskroon, Free State March 30 2009 – witchdoctor harvested their penises:
On March 30 2009, two elderly white South African farmers were found murdered in South Africa – two of many. For
ensic experts established that their genitals had been cut off while the victims were still alive. Strong suspicions that ‘witchcraft’ was involved were confirmed when Moeketsi Mokoena, 25, a Lesotho citizen, was arrested at one of the victims’ Viljoenskroon, Free State farms, and told police he was a ‘traditional doctor’.
While some 300 ‘muti’ (‘traditional medicine’- ) related killings are reported during an average year in South Africa, see -- whites were not targetted until about 3 years ago. And what makes this case doubly unusual, is that a self-claimed witchdoctor is actually being charged in any court of law.
Witchdoctors are so feared throughout southern Africa that they are hardly ever questioned, arrested nor charged for initiating or funding such crimes.
These muti-killings are increasing rapidly: with AIDS devastating the South African ruling elite, muti-killings to harvest body parts, sold for giant profits, have soared as the increasingly desperate demand for ‘AIDS-cures’ are reaching new heights.
- AIDS EPIDEMIC CAUSES SURGE IN MUTI-DEMANDS:
- The Institute for Democracy in South Africa reported that in the last eight years, nearly half of South Africa’s local elected councils have died before reaching the age of 50 – the result of the AIDS plague that has infected (at least) 5.4 million people in the country. “If you look at the statistics, MPs have been dying relatively young and dying in large numbers. These trends are not dissimilar from the general population,” said Kondwani Chirambo, the lead author of a new study commissioned by the Institute. see Chirambo also reported that 2.6 million registered South African voters have died from AIDS since 1999.
It’s the live-harvesting of the farmers’ body parts which has so deeply affected the Afrikaans-speaking farming community in South Africa when they heard of the gruesome suffering of these two farmers, Jan van Wyk, 82 , (a retired police inspector) and Basie Venter, 65, of Viljoenskroon near Kroonstad, in the maize-growing Free State province.
The ‘harvesters’, i.e. the murderers are charged very rarely too, however one such case occurred in August 20, 2008, when the three men below were found guilty for murdering a relative, and harvesting and selling ‘traditional medicine’ made from his body parts in Bushbuckridge, Limpopo province. This was an unusual event: and the witchdoctor was not charged.

SA Police captain L Hlati reported that on 15 August 2008, these three suspects on th eleft were arrested by his team. They readily admitted that they had murdered Floyd's nephew Clarence Brown (25) on 23 February 2008 and harvested certain body parts, to be sold as ‘good luck medicine’, and were jailed.
“Desperately needed body parts”:
Their testimony was that Floyd told his son that he desperately needed human body parts 'to make his four businesses quickly churn big bucks'. The suspected businessman owns the Lebohang Bar Lounge, a restaurant in Tekamahala Trust, another in Oakley near Hazyview as well as a liquor-outlet in Oakley.
Body parts had to come from a family member said the witch doctor:
His son Toto asked his friends -- Mjojo Justice Ndubane and another unidentified suspect -- to help. They went in search for Floyd's nephew Clarence Brown -- as the witchdoctor's advice was that the body parts needed to be of a family member. The victim was found drinking at the Sizanani 2 Bar Lounge in Oakley with his friends. The suspects waited at a bridge where the nephew was supposed to pass when going home - and offered him a lift. The suspects made formal admissions to the arresting police that they 'cut his body parts while he was still alive' - while seated inside a blue Venture kombi belonging to Floyd. They then threw the victim's lifeless body in the middle of the road in Oakley, under the false pretense that the victim had been involved in a hit-and-run accident. More farm murders; more abusive cops target Afrikaners

charged with the murder of 64-year-old farm wife Lynette Ralfe on Sunday. Bhekinkosi Mchunu, 29, and Dumisani Hadebe, 38, are alleged to have murdered Lynette Ralfe, 64, and to have attempted to murder her husband, Nigel, 70, who was shot twice but survived the attack at the couple's dairy farm in Colenso. 20100315 Albert van Deventer, 64, killed execution-style on game farm
March 16 2010 - When he retired, it was Albert van Deventer's dream to build a house for himself and his wife on a game farm. But on Saturday, armed men killed the 64-year-old and assaulted his wife. Van Deventer was shot at about 7pm when he went outside to move the sprinkler. He was shot in the face at close range. It was the second time he had moved the sprinkler that evening, which led his family to think his attackers were lying in ambush.
After the attackers killed Van Deventer, they ran to the kitchen, where his wife Hannetjie was. They tied her up, blindfolded her and dragged her around. "They asked for the keys to the gun safe where my dad kept his hunting rifles. They also wanted money," daughter Liza said. Her mother was assaulted and threatened until the attackers left her tied up. They left with Van Deventer's bakkie, the safe and cellphones.
The attackers always know when there’s a registered gun-safe on the premises…
It’s not known where the attackers had heard of the couple’s registered gun-safe but by law, all private gun-owners have to register their gunsafes – where they have to keep their firearms locked away at all times. This central gunsafe register is maintained by a Pretoria government registry. However ever since the law was introduced a great many owners of gun-safes have been attacked, with criminals always asking them the whereabouts of the safe and beating them up – or even ki9lling the owners – if they didn’t respond fast enough. 2010-03-12 Pietersburg - A 65-year-old Afrikaner farmer was murdered outside Marble Hall on Friday, Limpopo police said."This morning the suspects gained access into the house by breaking the back door. They overpowered Jan Wheeler in the bedroom," Superintendent Ronel Otto said. Police abuse against Afrikaners – latest incidents
March 14 2010 – KOPPIES, Free State. Journalist Charles Smith of Volksblad newspaper reports that twenty-three year old Afrikaner farmer Chris Grobler and his foreman Eugene Lloyd both were illegally arrested and locked up for 48 hours in the Free State this past weekend without being booked in at the official police registry -- for defending themselves against two men who had attacked them with knives. The two Afrikaners had made citizen’s arrests of the two attackers and the police were alerted – but only showed up a day later. The two white men were threatened in the overcrowded holding pens of the Koppies police station by black inmates who started singing and dancing very loudly, said his father Christo. The two young white men were held illegally: three attorneys hired by the parents have established that the two Afrikaners initially had been held without any mention of their names being registered in the police-registry at Koppies police station. “The dossier was ‘ missing ‘ and there were no entries in the incident book…’ said the father. Moreover, the police officers even denied that they had even been to the farm, where Mr Grobler and the foreman had made citizen’s arrests of two men who had assaulted the two white men with knives on Sunday.
The two men were released only after two farm workers who had witnessed the assaults and the arrival of the police that Monday, had submitted signed and sworn statements to the police, did the cops even acknowledge the fact that the two white men were in a holding pen with scores of black detainees. The police had been called twice over the weekend after a drunken ex-farm worker had shown up there with a comrade and started attacking the residents with knives but only showed up on Monday when two constables showed up.

“My wife wanted to know why they didn’t show up on Sunday when the two men were making all the trouble, and she was told ‘don’t behave like a white woman’… said Grobler. The commander of the Heuningspruit police station also told the father that his son ‘should have stood still to be stabbed’ and then the attacker would have been in the cells instead of Chris…’ Allegedly the two arrested black knifemen had lodged charges of assaults against the farmer and his foreman, said police captain Msisitheki Selima of the Kroonstad police; and Volksblad also quoted a claim from another cop that the police ‘have a rule’ that “anyone accused of anything should be locked up for 48 hours…. “

- During the broadcasting of the M-Net programme, Carte Blanche, on Sunday 14 March 2010, the story of the 24 year-old Magdel Steyn was told. She was arrested in front of her relatives by the (Pretoria) Metro Police on a fake charge of “reckless and negligent driving” -- after allegedly double-parking at a privately-owned parking lot. It’s not known why the Pretoria metropolitan police were present in such large numbers just to arrest one defenceless Afrikaans woman who had done nothing wrong.
Nantes Kelder, head of community safety of AfriForum, the visual material shows shocking images of Steyn’s human rights being violated under the pretense of a very minor traffic violation. “AfriForum hopes that people like Julius Malema will condemn this incident with the same fervour as that with which the so-called Reitz incident had been condemned,” he said.
- “AfriForum has already discussed the matter with Mr Francois Beukman, the Executive Director of the Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD). The incident is regarded in a serious light and the ICD will investigate it further,” Kelder said.
Kelder added that a letter of AfriForum’s legal team has already been served to the Head of the Metro Police, Commissioner Mutle. In the letter AfriForum asks for the latter’s undertaking that action will be taken against the metro police members involved immediately. AfriForum also demands in the letter that these members should be suspended, or be withdrawn from active policing duties. If this does not happen, AfriForum will apply for a urgent court order to enforce these demands.

In his opinion, these kinds of abuse are primarily due to a lack of discipline and supervision. He appealed to the public always to act within the framework of the law.
