Johan Strydom, 40, was known as the ‘peacemaker’ in the Parys community
Afrikaner farmer Johan Strydom, 40, was bludgeoned, chained to his bakkie by his ankles and dragged around his Buffelshoek farm near Parys on Saturday May 15 2010. He was ambushed at his farm gate in broad daylight. Very little of value was ‘robbed’. At his funeral, hundreds of local residents wept openly at the amiable farmer’s graveside. He was known in the local community as the ‘peacemaker’. On the photo are his friend Frikkie Labuschagne, sister and brother-in-law Susan and James Lombard. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Honderde-daag-op-by-boer-se-roudiens-20100521
His funeral service was led by Rev Frikkie Labuschagne from the Dutch Hervormd Church in Parys.
So many people showed up that many extra chairs had to be found to accommodate them all in the overcrowded church. Many people stood listening at the doors and in the front hall and many were weeping.
His coffin was carried to his grave by his two brothers-in-law, two nephews and two friends. His sisters Sarie Brits and Susan Lombard wept loudly while their only brother’s coffin was lowered into the grave, reports Beeld newspaper.
Pictured at the graveside on this Beeld photograph on the left are his friend Frikkie Labuschagne, sister and brother-in-law Susan and James Lombard.
Johan was described as ‘a friend of the community. Labuschagne said “Johan taught us to celebrate life. He lived life with unique and palpable love.” http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Honderde-daag-op-by-boer-se-roudiens-20100521

Summary of the Archives of the Boer Genocide
By Adriana Stuijt. THE NETHERLANDS. It's not exclusively the farm-killings which I have been archiving - although I have been recording the farm murders on several archives since at least 1987. I have also been recording the genocidal pattern which has grown up around the 'farm-murders'.
You will find the latest updates of the farm murders on http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com - it does have its own search engine if you are looking for a specific murder by name -- the latest posting was on May 15 2010 http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/2010/05/farm-murder-death-list-1987-may-15-2010_21.html
- I usually wait for two murders to occur before I update again: I usually have to update once a week.
VIDEO – WHY ARE YOU WATCHING FOOTBALL AMIDST A BLOOD-BATH?
You will note that there are TWO categories of farm murders: both are however related to land-rights issues and both are equally atrocious in nature.
1. Afrikaner/Boer farm MURDERS (I do not keep a record of each individual attack unless it has been deadly or the victim is on the critical list).
2. Further down underneath the first long list of names of murdered farm-dwellers - there's a second, much smaller list of names: of the black women and girls who were torched to death inside their own cottages because they insisted on accepting inherited land and had moved onto it to run subsistence-farming practices on it. Tribal males then get together and murder that entire female line by torching the cottages with the women/girls inside. It's always tribal-land related. This 'achieves' two goals: to scare off any other tribal women from accepting inherited land in future (and due to AIDS' high death-rate this happens a lot now); and to return the land to the male-line as they always keep the (usually minor) males of the family alive.
The Afrikaner/Boer farmers themselves also firmly believe that the farm-attacks against them most definitely are land-rights related and are also genocidal - and there is strong evidence to support both claims. There's a very clear pattern of farm attacks taking place in those specific regions whenever local tribes had recently submitted land-rights claims; in fact I am pretty much able to predict which region the next attack-wave will occur whenever I look at the latest land-claims submitted to the government.
ANC regime creates atmosphere of demonisation and hatred of Afrikaners in which a genocide could take place
It's also genocidal and creates a growing ‘hate-speech-tolerant cultural atmosphere” in which a genocide could easily take place: the ANC 'struggle' slogans "Kill the Boer' or “Shoot the Boer’ are even occasionally painted in the victims' blood on farm house walls and the farmer targetted often receives threatening phone calls with this slogan before the attack. There's always very vile hatespeech shouted during the attacks. There's also considerable proof of very advanced, detailed planning indicating military/police training of the perpetrators - scouting of the area, questioning of servants about farmers' routines, and marking the landscape with specific so-called "African field-writing" symbols to point to the target.
And the children in the townships – the next generation of leaders in SA – are also actively taught this hate-speech, and are even taught so-called ‘execution games’ in which they playfully learn to execute whites with single head-shots. (Picture by photographer Snowy Smith, Durban marina, youth leaders teaching large groups of kids the execution game).
Elaborate, long-term torture and mutilations indicate a high level of hatred towards the victims:
Also the very elaborate, extensive torture-and mutilation practices carried out during farm-murders of Afrikaner/Boer farmers has led the US-based organisation www.GenocideWatch.org to listing the Boer minority as at risk of Stage 5 Genocide (Polarisation) since 2002. (Since 2008, 'foreigners' in South Africa were also added to this list after the 'xenophobic' attacks against black foreigners - which have never really ceased since that time, it's just being underreported in the news media. http://www.genocidewatch.org/images/SAfrica2002Over1000BoerFarmersinSouthAfricaHaveBeenMurderedSince1991.pdf
TV-Interview with Dr Greg Stanton of Genocide Watch about "Boer Genocide": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S71bichSw&feature=related
Genocide Watch president recently also announced in a letter to Solidarity trade union of sa http://www.solidariteit.co.za that they were considering moving it up to Stage 6 ("preparation") if ANC youth league president Julius Malema remained in charge of that organisation, as they would then view the ANC youth league as a group which actively promoted genocide of a minority due to their constant hatespeech-campaign in which they chant "Shoot the Boer' and varieties thereof at public meetings.
Stage 7 is the 'all-out genocide' which most people believe to be 'genocide;' Stage 8 is the denial stage where the perpetrators will try to cover up the evidence and deny the genocide, usually describing it as 'common crimes' and often also blaming it on the victims of the genocide. *(Read the Eight Stages of Genocide on the Genocidewatch.org website). These stages do of course overlap: you may want to note that the ANC regime frequently claims that the farm-murders are just 'common crimes' and that they often also blame the farm murders on the victims themselves.
Racist Rapes initiated by government-officials: a genocidal ‘war-crime’ pattern:
There also is another form of genocide which often takes place during civil strife and/or wars: namely mass-rape. In South Africa there is a huge increase in the number of white males/females who are arrested under false pretenses by black police/ traffic officers, dumped in police cells overnight and often (gang-)raped; the next morning they are released without charges. I have been recording this practice with countrywide occurrances since at least 2001.http://afrikaner-genocide-achives.blogspot.com/2010/01/police-jail-rapes-of-white-sa-men-is.html
The latest such incident occurred in April 2010, when a group of young Afrikaners was arrested on trumped-up charges of ‘terrorism’ – and the youngest youth was raped in a police cell. It’s important to note that this case by the ANC-regime -- announced publicly by the SA police minister in parliament as an accomplished fact – now has now practically collapsed after the youths also revealed that they had been extensively tortured: http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/2010/05/right-wing-terrorist-case-collapses.html
Afrikaner/Boers forced to marginal land – denied government help for survival – refusing all means of survival to a minority group also falls under the Genocide Convention definition:
Other state-initiated "genocidal activities" which are currently taking place against the Afrikaner-Boer nation also includes the fact that they are being totally alienated from public life by a series of ANC-laws - the vast majority of 'whites' no matter how well-qualified, are barred from the workplace and often 'whites' also are deliberately hampered in the growth/value and advancement of their small companies because by law white-owned companies and businesses are forced to take on black directors at often huge salaries.
More than 600,000 of the 3-million-strong Afrikaner minority now are totally destitute and unemployable by law - and living in more than 480 small squatter camps countrywide. This started being noticable from about ten years ago.
Despite friendly visits to the Bethlehem squatter camp for destitute Afrikaners near Pretoria by SA president Jacob Zuma and his promises to help them, the ANC-regime ‘s officials very consistently refuses this desperate group of people most government-food-aid and often also denies them any government benefits including public housing, with ANC-officials claiming in interviews with the Helping Hand organisation for instance, that they couldn’t issue government food-coupons because it was 'racist' to 'feed hungry whites'.
Impoverishment of Afrikaners – 2008 report with pictures by Helpende Hand
Denying such desperate group of people any means to assure the survival of themselves and their families and descendants - also by forcing them onto marginal land where they are unable to grow crops, and often also are denied access to reticulated water supplies or any other forms of survival-help -- also is included under the definitions as outlined in the UN Genocide Convention. http://www.helpendehand.co.za
