Jewish activist Avigdor Eskin supports Afrikaner freedom struggle
Jewish-Russian activist Avigdor Eskin gives his support to Afrikaners’ freedom struggle.
The Russian-Jewish activist Avigdor Eskin, who lives in Jerusalem, has given his support to the Afrikaners for their freedom struggle. Speaking on a YouTube video from his home in Jerusalem, he said many Jews feel with him that the State of Israel had the privilege of having befriended South Africa during apartheid. He’d met General Hendrik van den Bergh (who headed the bureau of state security, Boss)
Eskin described Van den Bergh as ‘a man of great dignity and faith.” At a time when our people were being turned away by many countries during the holocaust, South Africa opened up its gates to many refugees from the Holocaust,” he said.
“I had the privilege of being a friend of South Africa until Mandela took over the country. I’ve never met a people like the Afrikaners, so honest and with so much love for Israel,’ he said.
‘The Afrikaners were forced into the referendum-vote by foreign powers who had convinced F W de Klerk to do so, he said.
“And now we in Israel have nothing but enemies in Pretoria, that government now has become friends with Hammas and THE many other enemies of Israel.’
“It is also inconceivable what is going on with the Afrikaners now. During apartheid the average life expectancy was 64. Now it’s 32. Life was so much better for all the people of South Africa during apartheid than thereafter. The Afrikaners were much more humane, BUT today they will have to be much less humane remain to regain their power, yet it must be done. Over 3,000 Boer farmers already killed, so many people killed on the streets each day, don’t tell me these (murders) don’t have a racial flavour.”
“I did foresee and I did warn that the 1994-referendum and the dismantling of the apartheid system would be disastrous for the Afrikaners.”
“But now we can help them and we have the capability of becoming allies again. Let’s sit down and see how we can regain justice and righteousness. I love you and I want to help you.”
“God bless you.’
Pretoria social-welfare buildings are dangerous
The Schubart and Kruger Park high-rise buildings in downtown Pretoria – from which hundreds of socially- and mentally-frail Afrikaners were forcibly evacuated by a series of mysterious fires over the past decade -- now are described by the fire department as ‘dangerous, faeces-smeared shells’ with structurally-unsound inner walls. Everything of value has been stripped out of these buildings after just 15 years of ANC-council management.
The fire department warned in a safety report this week that the Schubart (and the adjacent Kruger Park) buildings have become dangerous hazards posing great dangers to human health and safety.
The inside walls are steadily being ripped out, causing dangerous structural instability. The buildings have pretty much now all been stripped of everything of value by its residents – all the metal railings, the electrical wiring, the water-reticulation pipes. the light-fittings, the copper wiring – just about everything is gone or is still being ripped out.
And since there are no toilet facilities left, the buildings now are surrounded by huge piles of plastic bags filled with human faeces -- thrown down daily by the tenants.
Yet the city council still accepts rental payments from the residents in all the tower blocks except one: block D has been forcibly evacuated because fires set on the eighth floor by residents who were melting down electricity wires, had rendered it dangerously unstable.
Mysterious series of fires forced evacuation of low-income Afrikaners:
After the ‘socially-frail’ residents were all forced to evacuate, amongst other measures by a mysterious series of high-profile fires during which often very frail and elderly residents even had to be rescued from the rooftops by helicopters, the ANC-council started renting out the flats only to black residents as a matter of council policy.
Five people died in a horrendous fire at the Kruger Park flats on 22 July 2008 – two died when they jumped from the burning building and three died inside; and thirteen people had to be rescued from the roof of the building in a massive operation involving three police helicopters and three Air Force helicopters. One police fixed wing aircraft was also deployed. Many of the often physically- and mentally disabled Afrikaners were rescued only with the greatest of difficulty from the building by the emergency services. At the time, the divisional commissioner of visible policing Arno Lamoer said the SAPS Air Wing was ‘heroic’, with one police crew member even staying on the burning premises to assist in evacuating victims who could not be reached by other emergency personnel. There have been many fires in these buildings over the past few years. report
‘ANC-council has no respect for the human dignity of these residents’
The Democratic Alliance city council chief whip Natasha Michael called it ‘the most horrific end to a terrible tale that has been going on for years, the ANC led council has been making promises to the residents of this building for years, but due to a complete lack of service delivery and complete insensitivity towards the residents, nothing was done. This building was a health and safety risk and has been for years, it is an utter disgrace that the municipality did not act immediately. This ANC council has no respect for the human dignity of these residents and should today hang their heads in shame. Perhaps if the Mayor and her staff spent more time in the city that they are supposed to serve and less time in Austria watching the Euro 2008 finals whilst staying in luxury hotels, residents of the city would not have to live in inhumane conditions” said Michael. report
Many of these evicted Afrikaners now live in destitute tent-camps and little squatter villages scattered throughout the Pretoria area, as reported yesterday in our article: One-third of Afrikaners now destitute:
After just two years of neglect, these buildings have been reduced to empty, dangerous and stripped down shells where less than ten percent of the rent is still being paid, and where hundreds of residents dump their human waste over the sides of the buildings each day The entire surrounding park area reeks 'unbearably of human faeces,' according to a Pretoria fire department report, tabled last week.

..looks like a warzone…
The place now looks like a war-zone, reports the fire-department.
All the stairs’railings have been ripped out, making it extremely dangerous to navigate the dark staircases.
The internal walls and all the railings of the stairs are being ripped out, causing increasing structural instability -- and copper thieves are systematically tearing out all the wiring and melting these down inside the buildings – where people are still living with their families: in the pitch-dark and without toilets or water-reticulation because of the wiring and water-piping were ripped out.
The buildings have become a hotbed of crime and drug-dealers: earlier this year the SAPS carried out anti-crime raids to try and sweep out the drug gangs, the great many illegal weapons dealers and the prostitution- and armed-robbery gangs.
Residents have also been rioting regularly because of the building’s dangerous condition. It’s not known why any of these buildings are still being rented out by the Pretoria municipality. They are far too dangerous, the fire department warned.
Above: the fire department carried out a series of recent inspections and found copper thieves melting down the wiring ripped out of Tower Block D. They had set fire to the building and it became structurally very unstable: the fire had split apart most of the eighth floor structure. After these horrendously dangerous conditions were discovered in block D, the municipality was forced cleared out all the occupants. These residents weren’t paying their rent anyway said the mayor.
However blocks A, B and C are still occupied – by residents who pay less than 10 percent of the rentals. http://www.praag.co.za/feuilleton-magazine-386/algemeen-magazine-470/8211-schubartpark-byna-totaal-vernietig.html
