Black OFS students not punished for humiliation of Afrikaner youths at Villa Bravado hostel

The Freedom Front Plus party has reacted with shock to the racist initiation-video which has just emerged, and which shows the deep humiliation of four Afrikaner students by a large group of chanting, dancing black men who were shouting racist comments at the white youths at an illegal initiation ceremony at the Villa Bravado student hostel of the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein.
The four Afrikaans students were subjected to cruel humiliation rituals amidst loud cheering and applause and racist taunts and chanting by a large crowd of black students at Free State University.
The Afrikaans students were forced to 'make an oath' while contorting their bodies in humiliating postures, they were dragged by their arms and legs around the floor and some black students delivered fierce kicks during this process which left the Afrikaners bleeding from their noses, it can be seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zxrPqY6M5M

Wouter Wessel local youth leader of the Freedom Front Plus opposition party, has accused the University of the Free State’s management of maintaining double-standards: they take action against white students for initiations perceived as ‘racist’, – while totally ignoring identical events which also are being perpetuated by black students against Afrikaner youths.
After the so-called ‘Reitz-video’ in 2008, the university supposedly had banned all initiations – however they have at the same time, also completely failed to punish the black students who carried out this initiation at the Villa Bravado hostel. The university knew of this particular incident well before they decided to ‘punish’ the Afrikaner students.
“We are sick and tired of the University of Free State’s incitement of racial hatred by treating white and black students differently,’ Wessels said. He demanded that the University also take action against the Villa Bravado hostel who had undertaken this racist initiation against four Afrikaner students – noting that the university had supposedly ‘banned all initiation practices’ after the infamous “
Reitz-video’ became known.

"It is horrific and very tragic”, said Netcare911 spokesman Chris Botha describing the scene of the fire in the “Pieter Wessels Frail Care and Community Centre home” in Nigel, in which seventeen old-age pensioners perished. Later one male resident died of a suspected heart attack after he was rescued and taken to a church. Fourteen pensioners are still missing. Eighty-one of the residents are in hospital with burn-wounds and smoke-inhalation problems. One burn-wound victim suffered 40% burns across the body. 84 survivors were taken to other old-age homes and churches. The SAPS forensic team is on the scene trying to establish the cause of the fire. “They have lost everything, all their belongings,’ said Remsie Visser of the Pieter Wessels centre. “They came out wearing only their pajamas. We called the fire department and tried to get these people out, but most are disabled, we could not get all of them out. We are all terribly shocked,’ she said.
"We need clothes, adult nappies, bedding, food," said Coetzee. Visser said she received a call early Sunday evening that there was a fire at the old age home in Nigel."They said I must come and help. The entire building was up in flames.
"We called the fire brigade and just tried to get the people out and waited for help. Most of them are disabled. We couldn't get everyone out. She said firefighters worked until the early hours of the morning to extinguish the blaze. "Only the walls are still standing," said Visser. The people who lived in the old age home had all been moved to other old age homes in the area by Monday midday."They are in a state. Some are crying because they only realised now that they had lost everything. Some are too shocked to speak." Bergman, Jack 86; survives July302010 farm attack St. Albans smallholding, PE, East Cape
2010-08-01 -Port Elizabeth, East Cape – 86-year-old smallholder Jack Bergman was assaulted by four black men while asleep in his bed on Saturday in the St Albans, Port Elizabeth area. Police said the unarmed Bergman was the four attackers had broken into his homestead by climbing through a window early on Saturday-morning, SAPS captain Sandra van Rensburg said. A security company had found the pensioner after the house alarm went off. Mr Bergman lived alone. "The victim had several face injuries and stab wounds to the chest and on the arrival of the security company he was semi-conscious".H e was taken to Livingstone hospital. No arrests have been made. Peripoli, Giovanni 74, retired miner, dead: stomach sliced open, Virginia, Free State knife attack – nothing stolen
2010-08-02 Tom de Wet writes in Volksblad from Virginia, Free State. – “Please bring me a pillow, the ground is very hard,” were the last words 74-year-old Giovanni Peripoli whispered to his wife Lina where he lay with a gaping wound, his intestines spilling out on the paving in the back yard of his house. He had just returned from the bank. Peripoli who ives at 55 Virginia Road, was attacked on Saturday in broad daylight in this busy street by an unknown young man wielding a brand-new butcher’s knife. The cardboard box in which the knife had been bought was also found on the crime scene. Peripoli was stabbed three times in the stomach, and the knife was twisted with each stab. According to paramedics at the scene it looking like his entire stomach had been sliced open from side to side. Mrs Lina Peripoli, told Volksblad shortly after the murder that she had been busy in the kitchen when her husband returned from home at about 10:30. He had been to the bank, among other things. “I went to the back yard after I heard him call my name a few times. I found him lying on the pavement in a huge pool of blood. “I tried to help him, but I had to run into the house to call an ambulance and the police. His last words were when he asked me for a pillow – the ground was very hard and cold.”She demonstrated to Volksblad how the knife must have been stabbed and twisted, according to all indications, in her husband’s stomach each time. Peripoli was stabilised at the scene by Netcare 911 paramedics before being taken to the Oppenheimer hospital in Welkom, where he later died. SAPS spokesman Malebo Khosana quoted witnesses as saying that a young man had jumped over the gate after Peripoli arrived at home (from the bank) and closed the gate behind his car. After gutting the old man with the butcher’s knife, the young black man jumped back over the fence again and jumped into a car – presumably a black Chevrolet – which was waiting around the corner and fled the scene. Kimberley man, 56, kidnapped, hogtied, dumped in veldt overnight
2010-08-02 Jana Engelbrecht reports in Volksblad from KIMBERLEY. – ’An unnamed 56-year-old man of the Newpark suburb in Kimberley was tied up and dumped in a field just outside Kimberley all night after he was kidnapped by three armed men on Friday-night, according to SAPS constable Sergio Kock. The man was attacked inside his Newpark house by men wearing balaclavas who forced him at gun-point into a car after pulling a bag over his head. The men then drove him to a bank after they forced him to give them his pincode. They withdrew ‘an unknown amount of money’ from his bank-account and then dumped him in the veldt – hogtied - alongside the Kimberley – Barkley West road. He was only discovered by a passerby at 7am the next morning. The suspects also hijacked his car, a silver-grey Volkswagen Poli, 2006 model, license number BTRR 664 NC. The car has a South African flag sticker on the leftside mirror. The SAPS said the victim requested that his name not be published. 2010-08-02 01:20 BLOEMFONTEIN - Pieter Steyn reports in Volksblad that Mr Barries Fourie, 35, of Bloemfontein, was allegedly assaulted by the SAPS at the Park Road station after he had tried to hand over a drug-dealer together with his drugs and wanted to make a statement. Fourie had brought the man to the police-station in his bakkie, and the man sat outside in the vehicle while Fourie went inside to lodge his formal complaint. However, the SAPS refused to cooperate, said Fourie, refusing to take his statement, refusing to speak to the drug-dealer, and then a sergeant had cursed him, sprayed him with pepper-spray, and beat him up in the presence of the accused drug-dealer. Then the suspected drug-dealer disappeared. Fourie said the pepper-spray had blinded him temporarily and he called his uncle, Jan Fourie, to come and help him – and then he phoned Volksblad to tell them of the incident. Only after the journalist showed up, were the police willing to take Fourie’s statement – but by that time, the drug-dealer was of course long gone, although the drugs he’d tried to peddle to Fourie, were at the police station. Seventeen sheep die of fright from livestock rustling, Griekwastad, North Cape
GRIEKWASTAD, North Cape. Seventeen rustled sheep which had been trussed up and dumped on their backs inside a small squatter-shed, had died of fright, said Kimberley police on Monday. The SAPS discovered the dead animals during raids on a squatter-hut in Roodepan Kimberley - and found the sheep tied up together inside the hut, lying on their backs.
