In the following correspondence, the Sunday Times of Johannesburg undertakes to reinstate the link where they distance themselves from a hoax-email containing horrific hate-speech, allegedly by the late SA president P W Botha – but which reported speech was a complete hoax… it was NEVER said by P W Botha.

Dear Press Council,
An email keeps popping up on racist forums as justification for racism against white South Africans in particular. (See the entire hoax email at bottom)
In the past the Sunday Times had a link clearly stating that this email have nothing to do with them and that it is a hoax. This was active till the Sunday Times created a new website and the link was lost. After numurous emails and pleas to have a link up for reference they just did not reply or helped with a new link. After their reference was lost the hoax mushroomed all over the internet again.
- As obvious for us as South Africans that this a hoax, it is not understood by foreign people unfamiliar with SA politics. The Sunday Times name is clearly used in this hoax to give it credibility. It is not only in the best interest of us as South Africans, but also in the interest of the Sunday Times to keep it's name clean. By not doing anything the Sunday Times is helping in a lie becoming truth to those willing to believe this nonsense. Are we not as South Africans supposed to do everything in our power to stop stereotypes and hatred towards each other? Then why is the Sunday Times not doing it's bit to stop such blatant hatred to enforce stereotypes, while the email do it
in the Sunday Time's name?
I requested that the Sunday Times keep a link on their online publication for reference so people can get it from the 'horse's mouth' that this is a hoax. People want to see a physical link from the newspaper mentioned before they believe it to be hoax like they did in the past. This will be greatly appreciated as lies like these add to racial intolerance and I am sure this is not what the Sunday Times are fighting for. It would be naive of the Sunday Times to think if they ignore this, it will go away. As long as there are hateful people out there to spread hatred it will used as a weapon.
I hope I will get a positive reaction from the Presscouncil regarding this and ask the Sunday Times politely to clearly distance themselves from this hoax in a permanent online link.Your feedback about this complaint would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards,

"THE FOLLOWING is a speech made by former South African President P.W.Botha to his Cabinet. This reprint was written by David G. Mailu for the Sunday Times, a South African newspaper, dated August 18, 1985. "Pretoria has been made by the White mind for the White man. We are not obliged even the least to try to prove to anybody and to the Blacks that we are superior people. We have demonstrated that to the Blacks in a thousand and one ways. The Republic of South Africa that we know of today has not been created by wishful thinking. We have created it at the expense of intelligence, sweat and blood. Were they Afrikaners who tried to eliminate the Australian Aborigines? Are they Afrikaners who discriminate against Blacks and call them Niggers in the States? Were they Afrikaners who started the slave trade? Where is the Black man appreciated? England discriminates against its Black andtheir "Sus" law is out to discipline the Blacks. Canada, France, Russia, and Japan all play their discrimination too. Why in the hell then is so much noise made about us? Why are they biased against us? I am simply trying to prove to you all that there is nothing unusual we are doing that the so called civilized worlds are not doing. We are
simply an honest people who have come out aloud with a clear philosophy of how we want to live our own White life.

For the time being, we should also engage a higher gear to make sure that Black men are separated from their women and fines imposed upon married wives who bear illegitimate children. Arrested Boers spat at by Muslim, Witbank court
Israeli pro-Boer activist Avigdor Eskin -- on fact-finding mission in South Africa – also attends arrested Boers’ court-appearance in Witbank
Oct 11 2010 - After arrested ex-commander Willem Ratte, 62, and his nine 'co-accused' finally appeared in the Witbank magistrate's court 11 days after a police-raid on 30 September, a black man wearing Muslim headgear spat at the men while they were being taken to the SAPS prison transport after their very brief court appearance, writes Dr Dan Roodt of the pro-Afrikaans Action group.
Below: The former 32nd-battallion officer Willem Ratte, a teacher, was arrested and is being held at Witbank police station together with nine impoverished, unemployed and homeless Afrikaner men (picture below) who were being taught a new trade by Ratte at the former Boer-concentration camp and site of the Boer-Genocide Museum on the farm Eenzaamheid, near Balmoral. Ratte, on a hunger-strike, will not apply for bail. report
The police also raided the museum itself – confiscating antique Boer-era black-powder weapons, claiming in high-profile media interviews that these weapons formed part of an alleged ‘arms cache’ and that the men were ‘plotting to overthrow the government. ‘ 
At the Pretoria hearing, counsel for the accused Johan van Wyk told the court their arrests were unlawful as there had been no search warrant for the farm where they were arrested, and the men had not done anything unlawful. Five of the 12 weapons seized (above) were legal pellet guns for which no licence was required, while the others were all licensed. The men are being held at WITBANK police station.
Arrested were: Willem Ratte, 63, Eugene Becker (48), Justin Schoeman (18), Günther Kotze (32), Corné de Beer (22), Petrus Visser (20), Marais Bouwer (30), Raymond Senekal (43), Wesley Borman (24) , Christopher Meyer (27).
From the day of this highly irregular raid, Ratte has been on a hunger-strike and is not expected to apply for bail – because his arrest was illegal, writes Roodt. “The nine other Boer men could possibly be released by Friday 'on warning' - ‘pending an investigation by the department of corrective services.'
According to Ratte's charge sheet, he was detained for the "protection of the constitutional democracy against acts of terrorism" and "possession of arms and ammunition". The SAPS said ‘at this stage there were no charges of terrorism.”
As Ratte’s laywer pointed out, all the confiscated weapons moreover, were legal.
At the Pretoria hearing, attended by a large number of supporters, friends and family, (left) the counsel for the accused Johan van Wyk told the court their arrests were unlawful as there had been no search warrant for the farm where they were arrested, and the men had not done anything unlawful.

Dr Roodt writes that there also was a large news-media presence at the courtroom – and that they also interviewed the Israeli pro-Boer activist Avigdor Eskin, who is presently touring SA on a fact-finding mission and was present at the court with Dr Roodt.
Ratte looked 'tired and pale' during his brief appearance, Roodt writes. "After we waited for three-and-a-half hours the detainees finally appeared in the court-room - and were taken back to the Witbank prison within 15 minutes.The court ruled that the bail application for the other nine men would be heard on Friday by noon.”

Avigdor Eskin at court: supports Afrikaner/Boer-cause
In the court-room to provide the Boer men with moral support were some 100 supporters, relatives and friends – and also present was Avigdor Eskin: the Russian-Jewish activist who has given his wholehearted support to the Afrikaner/Boer freedom struggle – and has made a series of videos in which he calls on his fellow-Jews worldwide to help the Afrikaners from the besieged situation they now find themselves in. Eskin is a Russian-Israeli conservative intellectual/activist. Born in the old Soviet Union, Eskin emigrated to Israel where he became involved in political activity. Eskin was raised in an assimilated Jewish family. He studied piano in the famous Gnesin college. Eskin was the youngest Hebrew teacher in Russia; teaching it from the age of 15. He emigrated to Israel in January 1979.
- He said: “The Afrikaner people have always been our friends. They are now being murdered, mutilated and raped.’ He also noted that like the Israeli Jews, the Afrikaners ‘also have no place to flee to – and this is their secret weapon: they will win despite all the overwhelming odds… Why should the Afrikaners have to face genocidal conditions?"
In his video-message to the Afrikaner people on June 10 2010 , Eskin asked:
"People can’t go on living like this. Why should the Afrikaners have to face genocidal conditions, and with some 600,000 of the 3-million Afrikaners already living in dismal homeless conditions in South Africa under an ANC government?
“This cannot go on like this. Fifty-thousand white people have already been murdered by black people in the past fifteen years and many black people have suffered equally under the ANC-government.
- “As it says in the Book of Proverbs, 'a slave cannot be a king. And this is what G-d told us to do - to be humane and keep the Commandments, my message to the Afrikaners is very clear. You are the chosen people, you are going to win, but it is going to be tough. I will help in any way I can. Take the Bible in one hand and have faith'
He also had a message for SA president Jacob Zuma namely that he 'must ask forgiveness from the whole nation. He must be honest, and say 'we tried to run the country, we made a mistake, we can't do it.' Eskin said under the ANC government, 174,000 people have already been murdered, of whom 50,000 were white South Africans, including more than 3,600 Afrikaner farmers. "What is more important here,' he asks. "Slogans about democracy, or human lives? It is time when we say, 'enough is enough. I want to tell the government of the ANC that they should go to church and ask for forgiveness.'

Steenberg, Suna, 43, Kameelfontein businesswoman, Montana Poles and Lapas company, dies from April 16 shooting - Kameelfontein business woman Mrs Suna Steenberg, 43, owner of a construction-supply company, died nearly six months after she was shot and injured during an armed attack by 'men in police-uniforms' on her homestead northeast of Pretoria. She was in a coma ever since. "She fought for her life for more than five months. She was gunned down on 16 April 2010 with two execution-style shots to the head – while shooting back and injuring one attacker. After three months in hospital she was taken home where she was cared for by a team of nurses and her husband. Mrs Steenberg was shot while trying to save her mother-in-law from an armed "gang in police uniforms" which attacked their heavily-fortified Leeufontein smallholding, wrote Graeme Hosken, the Star’s crime reporter, at the time. She had opened fire on the gunmen while they were attacking her mother-in-law, "Tannie Poppie” while workers were offloading poles at the premises.The gunmen took advantage of this event to sneak into the heavily fortified double-storey home, which is surrounded by security surveillance cameras and high walls. Mrs Steenberg grabbed her gun from the legally-required, locked gunsafe and ran to her rescue. One of the uniformed black men disarmed her, grabbed her around the neck – and shot her at point blank range through the head.She shot back, injuring one of the attackers. Leeuwfontein/Kameeldrift smallholdings most-attacked region in South Africa
Our records show that Leeufontein and Kameeldrift smallholdings – primarily occupied by Afrikaner working-class families - also are the most heavily-attacked smallholding regions in South Africa. Just two weeks earlier on April 7, 2010, matriculant Ernest Hoon, 18, left, was shot dead while asleep in his bed on his parents' smallholding less than 3km away from Steenberg homestead. Other deaths at Leeufontein/Kameeldrift: Marius MacDonald, 42, shot execution-style in front of his family 25 October 2008 while he was tied up. - Another person with the same surname, namely Adriaan Steenberg, 45, was also shot dead on 8 May 2008 at the smallholding: a nephew of the world-famous Afrikaans author Andre P. Pretoria – October 11 2010 - A 58-year-old unnamed smallholder was shot and wounded during an armed attack, says ER24's Vanessa Jackson."An unknown number of suspects were outside a window, and shot the unarmed man through a window at close range, hitting him in the shoulder. The man then fled deeper into the house where the suspects pursued him."The man explained that as he fled was being pursued, more shots were fired, but he was lucky not to be hit again," said Jackson. The gunmen strolled away several minutes later just as the SAPS arrived. Nothing was robbed. His wife and teenaged-child were traumatised but physically unharmed. Heinrich Heck, 43, Crocodile River Mine boilermaker, shot dead, Ifafi, Hartbeespoort
2010-10-08 Alta Snyman reports from Hartbeespoort: A 43-year-old Afrikaner boilermaker from the Crocodile River Mine's Marula shaft, Heinrich Heck, was shot dead in the third 'armed robbery' in the Hartbeespoort rural region this week. Heck died in the ambulance enroute to the Eugène Marais-hospitaal in Pretoria. Police describe it as 'an armed robbery'- however nothing was robbed from the working-class Afrikaans family.
Community crime-forum chairman Romano van der Spuy said Mr Heck, his wife and two children were watching TV in their mine-owned house at around 19:30 in Sven Street, Ifafi when two armed black men walked into their living room. They had cut open the wire-fencing around the garden. One man pushed a handgun to the 14-year-old boy's head. Mrs Heck jumped up, screamed and ran away. Mr Heck threw the glass he was holding at the gunman threatening to shoot his son - and the gunman then shot the father in the chest.
The two black gunmen left without stealing anything or making any demands.Hartbeespoort paramedics tried for 45 minutes to stabilise Mr Heck. Nyce said the mining-family moved into the Ifafa house about two months ago after having lived in nearby Brits for 14 years.
The couple were described as 'quiet, spontaneous, friendly people who enjoyed what they were doing and weren't trouble-makers'.Mrs Heck and the children were reportedly 'very traumatised' and refused to return to the murder-house.SAPS spokesman col Junior Metsi confirmed that 'a case of murder' was investigated. Manie and Linda Warren attacked, Ifafi security complex
On Ocvt 11 2010, a Monday , Manie and Linda Warren were attacked at 19:30 in an Ifafi security complex and held at gunpoint while their home was looted. Security experts said most of these armed robbery killer-gangs come from the squatter camps Diepsloot and Atteridgeville.

Johannesburg – Oct 9 2010 - New Zealand's former rugby coach John Mitchell, 46, – now head coach at the SA Lions’ provincial side - was stabbed by attackers inside the home he shares with countryman Wayne Taylor in Hyde Park, Johannesburg. Mitchell, who joined Lions in July, was discharged from hospital Sunday morning after being stabbed in the thigh and upper arm, club spokeswoman Krystle Geach said. Two black males broke into the house in the wealthy Hyde Park suburb.The former All Blacks player was taken to hospital in Sandton, where he received stitches to the two wounds, Geach said. Lions president Kevin de Klerk said: "We have rallied around both John and Wayne during this terrible time and have placed them both in new accommodation for the time being while we find them permanent residency." De Klerk added. "The complex they were staying in has a reputation for being very safe, and as a result we never had any doubt that they were out of harm's way." Killer-security guard: "I shot the two bitches... I killed them...'
2010-10-10 "I shot the two bitches. I'm done with them. I killed them." So said a Fidelity Security Group guard to a colleague on Saturday, shortly after he executed two female colleagues with a shotgun at a Transnet depot just outside Krugersdorp. One of the murdered women begged in vain for her life after the first shot was fired. SAPS spokeswoman Odette van Staden said one woman was shot in the face, and the other in the body. The man is expected to appear in court in Krugersdorp Monday.The names of the murdered women were not released. After shooting the women, the killer-guard told his colleague to "phone the police because he wanted to go and buy airtime".All three worked for the Fidelity Security Group. He is stationed at Transnet's Millsite engineering depot, and the two women were security guards at Transnet's locomotive depot next door. The two women had entered the engineering depot premises at about 09:45, a fourth security guard told Beeld on Sunday on condition of anonymity. "I asked if I could help them and what they were looking for. They said ‘it had nothing to do with me and that their superior had sent them’." The witness says his colleague was very aggressive from the start when he saw the two women. According to him, the killer walked to the office in search of the women.
