‘You whites are the enemy’ – smallholder Karl Gerber lays assault and crimen injuria charges against senior Bronkhorstspruit municipal official
2010-10-27 21:59
Karl Gerber, smallholder of Donkerhoek east of Pretoria places assault and criminal injuria charges against Peter Nkosi, a senior official from the Bronkhorstspruit mayor’s office who allegedly cursed and beat him, telling him: ‘you whites are the enemy’.
Cobus Claassen of Beeld newspaper describes the hatespeech targetting an Afrikaner smallholder of Donkerhoek from an official of the mayor’s office of Kungwini municipality. Mr Karl Gerber has placed a formal charge against Peter Nkosi, acting manager of the Bronkhostspruit region. Gerber said he was driving on Monday-afternoon in his bakkie and stopped alongside Mr Nkosi – warning him that the dirt-road – which is owned by him – was illegally used repeatedly by various municipal vehicles. The municipality bought two adjacent smallholdings for low-cost housing several years ago and evfer since then his private road is used illegally. Members of the community also became upset about the way in which the municipality kicked a man and his family from their home. “I have repeatedly warned that they use my private road and all the road signs I keep putting up showing that it is a private road, are constantly being ripped off again,’ he said.
Gerber made a sound-recording of Monday’s assault by Nkosi and there were many bystanders, including two neighbours. Gerber said Nkosi had lost his temper, became very threatening “. Beeld reports that they listened to the tape recording and that Nkosi can clearly be heard to say: “We are sick and tired of tolerating you white people, … and “you white people are the enemy and you are just allowed in the land on our sufferance.’ Gerber said Nkosi and another man bashed his bakkie with gholf-clubs. “Nkosi was constantly threatening me and then he struck me on the back’. The SAPS confirmed the charge of assault laid by Gerber, which also included other charges including illegal tresspassing, crimen injuria and damage to private properly. Nkosi denied all knowlege of the incident. When Beeld pointed out that they had not only heard the sound-recording, but that a witness had also taken a picture of the incident and that they also have statements from various witnesses – he refused to comment.

Whites also have a right not to be killed…
Dr Dan Roodt of the Pro-Afrikaans Action Group, quoted in the Russian news media:
A pro-Afrikaner/Boer movement in South Africa is actively seeking support overseas for their battle against what they refer to as the ‘genocide of the white people’. One of their leaders, writer and journalist Dr Dan Roodt gave an interview to "Russian Reporter" in which he explained why Russia should be interested in the fate of the Boer-Afrikaners of South Africa….
--------------------
Q: Dr. Roodt, today you are leading organizations defending the rights of the Boers to preserve their culture and identity. Sixteen years ago, your nation ran South Africa. What has changed over time?
Dr Dan Roodt:
- Today, our Afrikaner/Boer people, along with the rest of the white population of South Africa has fallen victim to a physical- and cultural genocide. Over the past fifteen years, more than fifty thousand whites have been murdered and 200,000 women of all races were raped. The ANC-regime refers to this extraordinarily violent society as just ordinary ‘crime’ – however essentially these murders, armed attacks on family homes and rapes form an integral part of the policy of the African National Congress government which is gradually depriving us not only of our Afrikaans language and culture, but also stealing our land and our livelihoods.
- LIST OF NAMES OF MURDERED SA FARMERS:
You want to say that it is not just about the rampant crime?
Dr Roodt:
- Crime has no race, but the violence by criminals is race-based. In our country, the murders, rapes and armed robberiesg are carried out primarily by blacks, not by Boers or English-speaking whites. When the leader of the ANC Youth League, Julius Malema publicly sings their genocidal hate-speech song Kill the Boer’, it is not surprising that his supporters are going to follow his advice by going out to kill us and plunder from us. These kind of songs and calls for murdering the whites also emanate from not only Malema, but have become commonplace at all the public meetings and demonstrations of the ANC. True, they issue these calls to kill us in their own tribal languages – and often when asked to translate will lie about it, saying that they sing about ‘peace and equality.”
- “Over the past few years more than 3,500 white farmers have been brutally murdered . They rape women in front of their husbands with the words "We give you AIDS." All this is part of the policy of repression of whites through the use of violence, by armed attacks and by imprisonment on trumped-up charges, said Roodt.
Q Do you really want to say that things were better under apartheid?
Dr Roodt:
- I was an opponent of apartheid and openly opposed this political credo. I believed that it was unfair that the black man was not allowed to sit next to me on a bus. Indeed, under apartheid, there was inequality between different race groups.
- However, if we talk about human rights, then let's start with the right not to be killed, robbed, raped and being infected with AIDS by criminal rapists. These are far more important parameters of a human’s existence than discrimination of any kind. So I have to admit that the shortcomings of the former regime are childish pranks compared to the horrific violence happening in our country right now…
Question: “It seems you forget about the suppression of the black population, which has caused outrage around the world and led to the isolation of your country?”
- “Separate existence of the regime in South Africa was neither bloody nor repressive. From 1948 to 1994 in clashes with police killed 520 blacks. Compare this to 174,000 white and black people who were killed over the past fifteen years under the ANC-regime…
- Whites suffer more under the new regime – however the position of blacks has also deteriorated sharply.
- For instance, during apartheid from 1948 to 1994, the life expectancy for blacks increased from 38 to 64 years. Over the past fifteen years under the ANC-regime, life-expectancy has dropped by ten years and some 30% of the blacks infected by AIDS today. If you look at the situation objectively, the inevitable conclusion that they had incomparably better lives during apartheid”.
You want a return to apartheid?
No, of course not. We are fighting for autonomy for our Afrikaner/Boer people from which we want to form our own seperate State. After fifteen years of bad experiences under the system of ‘coexistence”, it is clear that we must find a new solution. I do not see our people survive any other way physically other than creating our own nation-state in parts of South Africa.
You can define the boundaries of a future state?
It is a matter of negotiations. Hopefully, we'll find overseas partners that will help us to begin negotiations with the South African government. In this sense, we look towards Russial. .
Do you think that the Russians will understand you better than do others?
I think so. With all the differences between our two countries we both went through a process of disintegration. Only President F W de Klerk – referred to by many people as the SA Gorbachev, went much further…
However we Afrikaners have never forgotten the solidarity which the Russian people showed us during the Anglo-Boer War. We remember the hero of this war, Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Yakovlevich Maximov. We will never forget the name of a prominent politician, chairman of the Duma, Alexander Ivanovich Guchkov, who in 1899 arrived in the Transvaal Republic, together with his brother and helped the Boers in the war against the British invaders.
We also know about your song "Transvaal, Transvaal. Her last stanza, I would single out as especially important today for us:
- "Transvaal, Transvaal, my country…
- For falsehood God will punish us … reward us for the truth. "
But why today's Russia to support the struggle for the independence of the Boers?
Why did Russia support us Boers one hundred years ago? They saw the injustice of the British invasion - they believed in us and were not disappointed. Today, Russia has not just been witness to the injustice of the international community on many issues. I can tell you that the various representatives of our people have repeatedly appealed to various international bodies. Unfortunately, the world simply ignores our pleas. If they were to come from Bosnian Muslims, the Palestinians or the Chechens, each incident however is "an international concern." And no-one wants to talk about the genocide of the Boers and other whites in South Africa….
What are you going to do next?
We plan to hold an election only among the Afrikaner-Boers. We need to put forward our own new leaders who can re-unite our people and lead them forward in these troubled times. We have tried many different ways. Now it's time to stop experimenting and just start to live independently as a nation-state. This is the only way out. We Boers have nowhere else to flee to. We never were colonialists and invaders of Africa. We have long been the true indigenous people of our country. We have mastered it, we have built it up, we have turned it into a blossoming garden. Other people arrived in SA only after we Boers had successfully developed this land.
Have you ever been to Russia?
No, but I really want to visit your great country. I want to thank the Russian people for their support in the Anglo-Boer War. And I hope that in our days we will find understanding in Russia.”
Farm wife murdered, Pretoria court burns down
2010-10-26 Anna-Marie Rohrs, farm wife Escourt KZN, murdered
Oct 26 2010 - “The Democratic Alliance party is deeply saddened by the senseless murder yesterday of Anna-Marie Rohrs, the wife of an Estcourt KZN farmer. This is yet again another murder of a farmer’s wife in the KZN Midlands,” said MP Alf Lees in a statement.
- The DA extends its heartfelt condolences to Alex Rohrs and his family. The Estcourt teacher was murdered in cold blood and police are searching for two black suspects.
This is a family which has done so much for the people of all races in the area and in particular for the people who work on the farm. This murder follows soon after the brutal farm murders of Hilda Linyene, Zakwe Mlongwe and Loraine Karg.
Rural safety remains a problem of immense magnitude which the ANC simply does not take seriously enough. The disbanding of the Farm Commandos has left rural people vulnerable to the brutal and vicious attacks such as the attack on Mrs Rohrs that has left her dead and her family bereft.
ANC-regime spends millions on fancy offices and luxury house for SAPS commissioner…
- “Whilst the SAPS spends millions of rands on fancy offices and a house for Police Commissioner Bheki Cele, the SAPS remains with far too few police members and other resources to protect innocent South Africans from the violent and other crime that is rampant in South Africa. Whilst the SAPS are to be congratulated for apprehending a suspect, this is little comfort for the Rohrs family who have lost their beloved wife and mother.
“The DA calls upon the Minister of police as well as the KZN MEC for Safety and Security to take their responsibility for the safety of all South Africans -- in particular the extremely vulnerable rural people seriously. They must make the presence of members of the SAPS in rural areas visible and extensive. Having police members sitting in distant police stations without access to motor vehicles will not save other rural people from attack, rape and murder.” Statement issued by Alf Lees, MP, Democratic Alliance member of the NCOP, October 27 2010 http://www.politicsweb.co.za/politicsweb/view/politicsweb/en/page72308?oid=207724&sn=Marketingweb+detail&pid=90389

Historic Pretoria Magistrate's Court burns down
2010-10-27 Pretoria - A blaze that ripped through the third floor of the Pretoria Magistrate's Court brought trials in the civil litigation courts to a grinding halt as officials announced on Wednesday evening that court operations would be suspended. Staff was evacuated after the fire broke out shortly before 14:00 and one firefighter was treated at hospital for heat-exhaustion. First-appearance criminal matters now would be temporarily handled at the Pretoria Central police station, criminal cases were temporarily disposed and all family-courts were diverted to the Visagie Street court building.
Firefighters battled for several hours to contain the blaze as much of the historic building’s roofing structure was tin and timber, which kept on reigniting. By nightfall there was still visible smoke, but no flames. The roof had collapsed.
Pretoria fire department spokesman Johan Pieterse said one firefighter was taken to hospital where he was treated for heat exhaustion and discharged. No-one else was injured.
"It started at the offices. Everyone was evacuated and no one was injured," said Pieterse from the scene. By 17:00 the entire top floor of the building was gutted. Large clouds of smoke ballooned over the city, while firefighters wearing gas masks battled the blaze from platforms raised above the court building. The cause of the fire was not known. The nearby new magistrate's court building was unaffected by the fire.
Pretorius Street and Schubart streets, flanking the court, were closed as around nine fire engines were at the scene. A number of ambulances were also on standby. The large blaze attracted a huge crowd, who stood behind a police tape barrier and watched as firefighters attempted to prevent the blaze from reaching the bottom floors of the building. Tlali said most of the damage occurred in that part of the court building where the civil litigation court roll for trials. Officials and marshals would be on hand “to assist and direct members of the public and transport would be made available for people whose cases may have been referred to other courts around the city, including those that could be referred to the Atteridgeville court,”he said. Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Jeff Radebe said: "We urge our law enforcement agencies to work around the clock in order to get to the bottom of the cause of this fire. Should any foul play be detected, those responsible for this must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law." http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Blaze-closes-Pretoria-Magistrates-Court-20101027
Black Elite is Sick - warns Cosatu
Black elite is sick, warn co-ruling Cosatu trade union leaders
Oct 27 2010 - Cosatu trade union secretary Zwelinzima Vavi this week slammed the excesses of the new black elite in South Africa ‘with their luxury cars, people who enrich themselves from the black-economic-empowerment laws and spend R700,000 on birthday parties where sushi is served on the bodies of naked women… This insults the integrity of the poor and this makes me sick,’ he raged.
(He was referring to the picture below which appeared in the news media, of the ‘human sushi-plate’ at the recent 40th birthday party of businessman Kenny Kunene. Picture by Lucky Nxumalo.) Also:

‘ HUMAN SUSHI-PLATE AT 40th BIRTHDAY PARTY OF BLACK SA BUSINESSMAN KENNY KUNENE…’
Cosatu rules South Africa with the ANC and the SA Communist Party…
The Cosatu trade union movement is a co-ruling organisation in the troika which runs South Africa together with the SA Communist Party and the African National Congress. Thus Cosatu is attacking its own partners, warning that the country is in the middle of a national crisis. ‘Corruption is a question of life and death in a democracy,’ he said. “Every day our public figures are accused of corruption. The abuse of political power for own gain is a ticking time bomb which is going to explode. The worst abuse of political power is when officials’ own families benefit from business-transactions. Our government must chose whether they represent the country’s citizens or only the business world’.
The country is in the middle of a national crisis”, he said. “Cosatu is furious. We demand our freedom back from the BEE-elite. We demand an egalitarian society. This Feast must come to an end (…) South Africa has spawned an uncaring, self-absorbed and indifferent black elite whose major sport is an ostentatious display of wealth and power. Crass materialism threatens the spirit of selfless service that characterised our democratic movement...”
Cosatu president Sidumo Dlamini agreed – adding that ‘the government must be reminded that the struggle has not been waged to make the rich even richer.’ http://www.cosatu.org.za/show.php?include=docs/pr/2010/pr1014e.html&ID=4113&cat=COSATU%20Today
Critical black South Africans are harshly dealt with:
Many other South African blacks who dare to criticise the government in similar language and even provide proof of widespread corruption inside the ruling ANC-party, are however much more harshly dealt with than their co-ruling trade-unionists such as Vavi.
For instance, Stephen Khoza, who made the following video about the massive corruption in the public-housing sector, was arrested for fraud and allegations of ‘hijacking’ a black-economic mining company, Kalahari Resources, and this week the State will ask the Commercial Crimes Court to remand him and other co-defendants to the Sterkfontein mental hospital for ‘observation”. His video however shows a coherent man who provided clear proof of the direct link which exists between ANC-membership, people’s jobs and their rights to public housing… and that any dissenters soon find themselves jobless and homeless…
