Armed attacks against rural whites peaked during WC2010

Armed attacks, murders of ‘rural whites’ in southern Africa - since Jan 2010 to Oct 30 2010 -- peaked during World Cup 2010
Oct 30 2010 – According to the two graphs from http://www.farmitracker.com below, the number of armed attacks targetting ‘white rural residents’-- 96% of those reported were Afrikaans-speakers -- showed a dramatic peak during and after the FIFA World Cup 2010 football tournaments in South Africa.
Past ten months: 216 attacks against whites in cities; 535 against white smallholders, farmers …
The first graph below shows the 216 logged attacks in towns and cities, as archived on the http://www.farmitracker.com page, (set up from May 1 2010 to log violent-crimes during the WC2010 when the ANC-regime stopped publishing such reports).
- It showed a total of 216 attacks logged against urban whites from Jan 2010 to Oct 30 2010, peaking in August with 8 on one day and now levelling off to three attacks a day.
- The second graph below shows details of the more than 535 armed attacks targetting ‘whites’ on farms and smallholdings.
The highest level of city-attacks– eight on one day – occurred in August 2010 – just after the WC2010 had ended and during the internet campaign of several 'black-racist’ groups such as COSAS and Blackwash urging blacks in townships to ethnically-cleanse all the white families.
- By October 30, 2010, these city attacks targetting whites averaged three a day. Many of these attacks are still not reported by the SAPS to the news media at the time they occur – however when criminals appear in law-courts, the website often logs the crimes, sometimes months or even years after the event took place.Often, victims’ families overseas have also reported these attacks to crime-campaigners on http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com and other similar sites.
More farms and smallholdings attacked during World Cup 2010: five cops arrested carrying out farm attacks:
The farm attacks targetting ‘white’ families on smallholdings and farms were particularly ferocious, with more than 535 attacks logged since January 2010 by farmitracker.com – many of these were deadly and all were marked by extreme, unnecessary violence since most of the victims on the smallholdings did not resist. However the attacks against farmers met with armed resistance by organised Farm Watch groups, who succeeded in arresting twelve farm-attackers in the North West region – which included five armed on-duty police officers.

Notable was that during the WC2010, the attacks against farms and smallholdings peaked at an average of five on one day in July 2010. The highest number of violent attacks, 444, were logged targetting the smallholders around the greater Pretoria region – especially those Afrikaans working-class families in the Kameeldrift policing-region and surrounding smallholdings. - The highest peak in farm-attacks on one single day occurred in the last week of October, with six on one day. It must be noted that these attacks reported are only those logged on this site – many still remain unreported. These attacks also all are marked by the high level of unnecessary violence used, and which is often accompanied by mutilations of genitals and very violent rapes, and that the crimes often accompanied by anti-white hate speech.

Oct 27 2010 - Afrikaans sisters Rita Cloete and Lida Prinsloo, 76, were both hijacked on the same day in seperate armed attacks by armed gangs – eight hours apart at Mrs Prinsloo’s home in Springs. Mrs Cloete’s broken wrists – the attackers had beaten her with a rifle-butt – required surgery. The double hijackings took place in front of her sister Lida Prinsloo’s home in Eastvale Street, Springs. Cellphones and credit-cards were looted.
LOUD SIREN HAD GANG FLEE:
In both hijackings the attackers were very brutal and aggressive, yelled at the women in Afrikaans that they were going to get shot – and one hijacker had tried to run down the injured Mrs Cloete with her own car. Mrs Cloete was beaten with a rifle-butt and a family friend, Jeff Reece, had two shots fired towards him by the hijacking-gang when they drove up in the second attack. The armed gang then tried to attack the family members who had all fled inside - locking the security guard behind them while one had pushed the button activating their security system’s very loud siren. The gang then fled.
The double-hijackings started at noon as she had stepped outside, Mrs Prinsloo told Wolfram Zwecker of Beeld: “the next moment this man was at my car, screamed in Afrikaans: “I am going to shoot you,’ ripped the keys from my hand, jumped in the car, turned it around and then nearly ran me down as he drove off,’ she said. The gang attacked the family a second time when Mrs Prinsloo and her husband showed up from Potchefstroom to offload a cupboard at her sister’s house. Throughout the double-siege, Chanelle Rebello (4), Prinsloo’s granddaughter, hid away in the shower – and the little girl would only come out from behind the shower-curtain pnce the police and ambulance people showed up…Credit cards and cellphones were robbed. AFRIKANER PENSIONER BRUTALLY BEATEN IN GERMISTON
2010-10-28 - 75-year old Afrikaner pensioner Mrs Renske Cowan, 75 ,suffered a broken nose, extensive bruising to her face and an injured throat when an armed attacker assaulted her after breaking into her daughter’s humble dwelling in Primrose, Germiston while she was home alone, watching TV. The old woman was tied to a chair, beaten up and, throttled – and now can only sip liquid food through a straw. The man searched the house for jewellery but the working-class family had very few things of value. SAPS sued over refusal to appoint white cops

2010-10-29 Solidarity trade union labour-court head Dirk Groenewald says the SAPS is keeping posts vacant rather than appointing suitable, experienced and well-trained white candidates – the SAPS policy is to fill open posts with ‘unsuitable, untrained candidates as long as they are blacks’. Ventersdorp ‘s manager ‘hates white people’
Kenny Leluma, caretaker-manager of Ventersdorp, ‘has honestly started hating white people, wished they’d leave South Africa’ he reportedly said, and added: ‘you never see whites live in shacks…’ These were some of the anti-white racist comments allegedly made by Leluma, who also is the politically-influential president of the Institute of Local Government Managers…

Journalist Linda de Beer reported in Beeld newspaper on September 16 2009 that the Democratic Alliance opposition party is lodging a formal complaint for the Human Rights Commission about a recently published comment by Ventersdorp’s caretaker-manager, Kenny Leluma, that he ‘has honestly started to hate white people, they are not in this country to build..’’ and similar anti-white racist comments.

Kenny Leluma, as quoted in The EP Herald by journalists Neil and Janine Oelofse: oelofsen@avusa.co.za reportedly said:
‘ He (Leluma) asked why he should resign from Bitou in order to help Ventersdorp. ‘Leluma said that only the DA was making a “big issue” out of his deployment and that nobody in Bitou had complained when the central government had pledged R1,2-billion for development in the Garden Route municipality. “I am getting damned fed up with the DA. This is disgusting, and when the DA starts talking nonsense, the media runs after them. It is sickening to the bones.” In an emotional tirade yesterday, Leluma said “whites” wanted to see the ANC fail. “I have had enough. Every day. I cannot keep answering these questions ... I am honestly starting to hate white people. They are not in this country to build. You never see whites living in shacks, and we will go and help those people who need help. Honestly, I am starting to agree with those who feel the whites must leave South Africa and go to Europe or even Australia. If residents were not happy with the way the ANC ran Plettenberg Bay, they should “vote us out”, Leluma said, adding that “the DA will never win Bitou”. http://www.epherald.co.za/gardenroute/article.aspx?id=471215
Apparently, Leluma was quoted by the EP Herald in Plettenberg Bay (where he had been seconded from) as making this reportedly ‘emotional’ remark after he was asked to comment about the ongoing hassle in Ventersdorp over his expense payments. The caretaker-manager was also approached by the EP-Herald journalists about leaked secret plans to incorporate the bankrupt Bitou-municipality into the neighbouring viable ratepayiers’community… plans which clearly do not sit well with the ratepayers and their councillors.
- Leluma himself also has been in the news over a civil sexual-harassment suit lodged by a former official. And he’d also reportedly left his earlier job as the manager at the Maluti-a-Phofung municipality in Harrismith in the Free State ‘under a cloud’, DA-spokesmen also claim.
To summarise, Ventersdorp ratepayers are unhappy about being saddled with a caretaker-manager who has a poor track record at two previous municipalities – and who moreover was being forced upon them by a measure of public bullying from Sicelo Shiceka, the minister of traditional affairs and cooperative government. And it’s clear from his public comments, that’s he’s equally unhappy with the ‘’ whites’ on the Ventersdorp town council.
‘R40,000 monthly salary an insult to Ventersdorp ratepayers’:
“These racist comments as quoted by Leluma were ‘targetting our (white) party councillors on the Ventersdorp city council even though it was a black COPE-councillor who had leaked the story,’ said the DA-leader of North West province Chris Hattingh. “Leluma’s cited racist remarks ‘show that he’s not manager-material’. And his salary of R40,000 a month is an insult to ratepayers,’ he added.
Leluma used to be the manager at the bankrupt Bitou municipality, which is still supposed to be paying Leluma’s salary and until recently also his travel and housing expenses. He was seconded as caretaker-manager to Ventersdorp in April directly by Sicelo Shiceka, minister of traditional affairs and cooperative government – in an attempt to clean up non-functioning municipalities by loading their burden onto still viable municipalities.
The Ventersdorp city council had only accepted Leluma’s three-month secondment provided that the Minister ‘s department must pay for the man’s travel- and housing costs. However Bitou municipality instead secretly continued paying for these costs and a row erupted over the way this agreement was disregarded, said DA-councillor Johann Brummer of Plettenberg Bay.
Ventersdorp municipal councillors refused to then confirm a requested six-month extention – but were bullied into it after they were blasted by Seitisho, who lambasted them for ‘not acting in the spirit of the Constitution’. The Ventersdorp councillors then reneged, extending the man’s contract until the end of February 2010. But they still balk at having to pay his travel expenses and housing costs.
Beeld, contacting him by cellphone, was told by Leluma that he was ‘sick at home’. He referred all matters dealing with Bitou municipality to their spokesman and said he wasn’t going to ‘comment on lies’, referring to the racist-comments he was quoted by The Herald as having made.
