Flemish MP asked to probe Boer genocide
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – Nov 12 2010 – The Flemish ex-parliamentarian John Vrancken wrote in a letter to liberal Flemish MP Marc Hendrickx today that while he congratulated the latter's attempts to draw attention to suppressed minorities in his latest column, Vrancken asked him to also investigate the Boer genocide taking place at the moment.

Vrancken wrote to the Flemish MP Marc Hendrickx:
"I commend you for taking up the cudgel on behalf of the suppressed minorities of the world - as you did in your latest column: However the minorities you mentioned are not the only ones who urgently require our attention.
"It may not be unknown to you that after the transferral of power from the apartheid-regime to the present communist-type government of the African National Congress party, the latter party has actually maintained the very same apartheid-principles from before 1994 - but this time towards the socalled 'white' minority.'
The former MP writes: "The white Afrikaners are not only deliberately discriminated against by law on the labour-market via a legal racial-quota-system – where their 'white skin' is discriminated against by receiving a much lower quota-ranking thus inevitably excluding them from the entire labour market, even in state-jobs.
“The whites also are victimised by hate-campaigns accompanied by calls for killing them all. The result is a rapidly growing number of poor whites who live in desperate circumstances.
Black farmers are leaving behind an economic cemetery:
“The black farmers who were given these farms are incapable of continuing this once so flourishing economic branch, nut even worse: they are also plundering the farms they were given - and are leaving behind an economic cemetery.
“The poor black workers (*1,2m blacks employed on 85,000 farms in 1994; 250,000 on 12,000 farms by 2010) who used to benefit from this flourishing agricultural sector suffer great hardship now,” he pointed out. He continued: “South Africa thus is engaging on a land-devastation programme as od also seen in neighbouring Zimbabwe.
“It is astonishing - indeed reprehensable - that the politically-correct West closes its eyes to these human rights abuses targetting a defenceless minority, and fails to address the South African leaders on this matter: on the contrary, they instead hold up South Africa as a shining example for other Africans to follow... “It's also amazing that the same Western politicians remain blind and dumb when it comes to the inciting hatespeech of the ruling ANC youth league leader when he sings the genocidal song Dubula Obhunu or "Kill the Boer'. This man is allowed to continue preaching hatred and chant his song - which he learned at the knee of former SA president, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and all-round icon Nelson Mandela.

SA needs a much more adult regime…
South Africa’s government must urgently intervene, writes Vrancken and warns: “It is high time that black South Africans puts a stop to this discrimination and this violence - and instead install a democratic regime with a much more adult manner.
“Would it also not be appropriate for the parliament of Flanders -- through her Minister of Foreign Affairs -- to formally object to this state of affairs with her trade-partner South Africa - and to force the country into compliance by our demand to stop their discrimination and hatespeech against Afrikaners by including such a provision whenever we provide financial support to South Africa?
“ Flanders has a big mouth about anti-discrimination measures against the minorities in our own land. That same Flanders should therefore also be consistent in expanding this anti-discrimination approach to all its trading partners and to all those countries which receive financia assistence from Flanders.
Could we also not import Afrikaner workers into Flanders?
“And when our province seeks to import foreign labourers - could it also not concentrate on seeking those out amongst the great many well-trained white Afrikaners - who already speak our language?”

“I could commit murder. I am heartbroken. I am beside myself.”
These were the gut-wrenching words of Mr Hein Meyer as he stood outside the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate’s Court after he had been inside, listening to how his daughter Edri’s attacker had put a gun in her mouth and shot her.
Mr Meyer’s daughter Edri Myburgh, 27, her mother-in-law, Anna Myburgh, 56, and a domestic worker, Paulina Zithobeni, 28, were attacked and kidnapped in Anna’s Bronkhorstspruit home last year.
Their convicted attackers Daniel Motshwarateu, 23, and his neighbour, Helton Matsimela, 28, who appeared in court for something mysterious referred to as ‘ pre-sentence proceedings “– were already found guilty of beating and torturing the two Afrikaans women. The women’s ordeal had lasted for seven hours – repeatedly they were beaten and Anna was burnt with a hot iron - before the two black males had driven the three women to a deserted road and shot both Afrikaans women in the head at point-blank range – execution style. While the torturers had not touched the black worker Paulina Zithobeni, she was critically injured when the attackers had lost control of the Myburgh family’s car and crashed.
Matsimela and Motshwarateu were caught close to where they had left the three women for dead. Edri – although shot in the head - had raised the alarm after she regained consciousness and miraculously, had managed to walk more than 10km through farm fields. Her mother-in-law was rescued when a motorist saw the badly injured woman next to the road. She has since then died in hospital of her traumatic injuries.
Family members listened on Monday to how their loved ones were tortured, all because Motshwarateu – Anna Myburgh’s gardener – claimed that he had been owed R40 ($4). Edri’s husband, Henk, said outside court: “The best thing that can happen to these men is that they die in prison.”
Motshwarateu however told the court that “he should not be imprisoned as he wanted to look after his mother”.
- When asked by the prosecutor, Elize Schoeman, why he had tortured Anna Myburgh with a burning iron, Matsimela said “it had not been that hot… we wanted to scare them and get the money. I did not think that all of that was going to happen,” he said.

Dutch fingerprint expert Arie Zeelenberg to testify in high-profile SA murder case
CAPE HIGH COURT, CAPE TOWN, South Africa. Fred van der Vyver, the actuary son of a wealthy Afrikaner family who was found not guilty of the murder of honours-student Inge Lotz' on 16 March 2005, is suing the SA Police Minister for R46million. An impressive array of top forensic-experts has been called in to help prove his case against the SAPS - including the former head of the Dutch National Police force fingerprint department and author of expert-books on the subject, Arie Zeelenberg.

According to Fred Van der Vyver ‘s legal team - in their submission to the Cape High Court on Thursday - the SAPS investigators in the Lotz murder case had ‘deliberately provided falsified information to the state-prosecution and had also withheld vital evidence”.

On the first day of the trial against the SA Police Minister, the Cape High court heard that the SAPS investigators had deliberately provided false information in 2007 to force the State to arrest and try Van der Vyver. Ms Lotz, a promising master's degree student at the University of Stellenbosch, was found murdered in her apartment in the university town on 16 March 2005. The Afrikaans student had been bludgeoned to death on the sofa in her flat. The brutal murder caused immediate shock and revulsion in the Afrikaner-community countrywide – and the shock-arrest and trial of her wealthy boyfriend created ripples worldwide when he was acquitted and it became known that much of the police-investigations’ evidence against him had been fabricated and that witnesses had been intimidated. At the time of her death, Inge was in a steady relationship with 25-year-old Fred van der Vyver. They had started dating a year earlier when they were both full-time students.
One of Van der Vyver's legal representatives, Dup de Bruyn, on Friday told Cape high court judge Anton Veldhuizen that evidence will be presented to show that the police-investigators made 'deliberately misleading and false statements. Facts were also withheld which could have ended Van der Vyver's prosecution at once,' De Bruyn said. "Investigating officers deliberately contributed to the prosecution by deliberately providing false information..'
- Among the expert-witnesses drawn in for the case by Van der Vyver's legal team are Dutch fingerprint expert Arie Zeelenberg; Mr William Bodziak, an American forensic expert in footprints and Prof Gert Saayman, a South African medical forensic expert.The case was described in great detail in "Fruit of a Poisoned Tree', a best-seller by author Antony Altbeker.
In June 2005, Fred van der Vyver, a young actuary and the son of a wealthy Eastern Cape farming family, was arrested and charged with murdering his girlfriend, allegedly bludgeoning her to death with a hammer as she lay on a couch in her lounge. The case against Van der Vyver seemed overwhelming, wrote Altbeker in his book: "His behaviour at the time of the murder 'appeared suspicious and incriminating'- and a letter, penned by Inge on the morning of her death, suggested that the two had been fighting… " Moreover, it was ‘the forensic evidence that seemed to prove his guilt: his fingerprints were found at the scene, one of his shoes was matched to a blood stain on the bathroom floor, and traces of blood were found on an ornamental hammer that had been given to him by the victim’s parents."
- However, wrote Altbeker, ' in one of the most sensational and controversial murder trials in South African legal history, Van der Vyver’s lawyers sought to turn the tables on the police, accusing them of fabricating evidence and lying to the judge."
SA Police Superintendent Bruce Bartholomew, he wrote, ‘ had testified in Van der Vyver’s failed murder trial that a bloody mark found on the bathroom floor of Lotz's flat was made by one of Van der Vyver's shoes’. Bartholomew had also told the court that he 'had visited renowned shoeprint expert William Bodziak at his home in Florida USA for advice" and that " Bodziak had agreed with his findings".
However this evidence was refuted when Van der Vyver's team then called Bodziak as an expert witness to Cape Town. Bodziak told the court during the murder trial that 'he had never agreed with Bartholomew and had been shocked and amazed at the lies told to the court."

Private detective Niel van Heerden of the firm George Fivaz and Associates also laid charges of obstruction of justice and perjury against the SA Police's investigators in the Lotz murder case – testifying that their team of private investigators had obtained independent statements from witnesses showing that at least six suspects, local people with known criminal backgrounds, had been near Lotz's apartment and that three of them had entered the flat on the day of her death - one person was an acquaintance of hers.
"We had reason to believe their motive was to get money for drugs. All six were known to us and most of them are in jail at the moment waiting to appear on similar charges of murder, robbery and drug dealing," Van Heerden was quoted as saying.

A Pretoria smallholder, his wife and their housekeeper were kept hostage for six hours, during which the couple were forced to drink down a bottle of brandy and the husband was remorselessly beaten, for hours. The housekeeper was unharmed.

The couple's gardener and two black comrades had ambushed and assaulted the Afrikaner couple when they returned home at 1pm -- and then held him and his wife captive for six hours. They also tied up the housekeeper but did not harm her or assault her. At one point their gardener Julius had pushed a loaded gun-barrel into Benade's mouth and yelled: "you white dog, you wanted to slap me...' when the Afrikaner tried to defend himself from being assaulted by the men with pickhandles and knives.
The men also forced the couple to drink down a bottle of brandy, saying: "Drink Boer, when I shoot you, you have to be unconscious'. Beeld journalist Hilda Fourie wrote that the couple's six-hour ordeal started at 1pm when the couple, enroute home after delivering a load of bricks in their bakkie, stopped at a neighbour's house to pick up their dog, Peanut. When they arrived at their homestead next door, Benadé first stopped to talk to the gardener, Julius - who worked in their garden 'off and on' for several years. "I went inside the house when two unknown black men jumped me, armed with two pickaxe-handles and knives. They kept on beating me, taking turns. I kept trying to get up but they kept on beating me down. They broke my right arm and cut my left-hand with a knife."They dragged me up the stairs to the main bedroom, where they forced me to open the gunsafe.'They grabbed his handgun but were unhappy about the small amount of cash inside -- so they started beating him again, he said.Then Julius entered the bedroom and pushed Benadé's loaded handgun into his mouth, cursing him.Meanwhile wife Ann and housekeeper Susan were forced to lie down on the floor and tied up while the three black men searched the homestead. They found some cash in Mrs Benadé 's handbag. Then the white man and his wife were forced to drink down a bottle of brandy. "He pushed the bottle into my mouth and said : 'drink Boer, when I shoot you you have to be unconscious’, he told Beeld newspaper. By 7pm the attackers climbed into the couple’s Datsun-bakkie and fled with their loot. Benadé managed to get lose from his bonds and freed his wife and housekeeper before rushing to the neighbours to get help. Mr Benadé also sustained serious head-wounds which required 100 stitches. After the kind old Afrikaner – a former railway-worker who’d scrimped and saved for 30 years to buy his dreamed-of small farm one day -- had driven a black pensioner to town on Friday to help her withdraw her pension, he was tortured with a hot iron, beaten with a pick-axe and brutally murdered… and nothing was robbed.
Bloemfontein - A blood-stained sock, pillow and rag were silent witnesses to the gruesome torture-murder of an elderly Free State farmer, Barend Steyn, 73. Earl Coetzee of Volksblad newspaper wrote that the murdered man's son Callie Steyn found his father's bloodied body on Friday-afternoon at 6pm after the old man had driven a black pensioner into town to help her withdraw her pension…

"I drove into the erf and yelled to my dad because he usually comes out to greet me just as I drive in.' However dad didn't show and Steyn walked into the homestead.He noticed that the backdoor was open and that the homestead was 'turned upside-down' - so he first ran back outside to warn his wife not to climb from the car, but to lock it.The son went back inside and found his dad on the floor of the second bedroom. "Initially I thought he'd been shot because I just saw blood everywhere'.The old man was on his stomach. "A rag was twisted over his head and neck, his hands were tied behind his back. I turned him over, removed the rag to see if he was still alive. I searched for a pulse-beat but he was cold,' the son wept, telling his story to the journalist.Next to his father's body he noticed a pickaxe and a hot iron, still plugged in. The room in which he was murdered contained the registered gun-safe.Tools were left behind such as an angle-grinder indicating that there were plans to break into the safe. Electrical appliances and groceries, packed in bags, were in the hallways. Capt Elsa Gerber of the SAPS said the last time Mr Steyn was seen was on Friday around 2:30pm when he returned from town with his shopping.The SAPS's organised-crime unit the Falcons arrested a suspected man on Sunday and are still searching for other suspects. Bennie said it was shocking that the murder was carried out in broad daylight. "I pleaded and begged with my dad to come and stay with me on my smallholding for his own safety.He lived a sober life - having worked for many years on the railways. It was always his dream to farm one day, so when he retired 20 years ago he bought a smallholding and started farming it.He always helped everyone around him and often drove workers to town. On Friday-morning he'd driven a woman into town so that she could withdraw her pension,' he said.The old man leaves behind two sons.
