The mythical god-status of Oliver Tambo…

Print Friendly and PDF

“Boerboel’ writes: “I wonder how long it will still take for white liberals to start questioning the mythical  Hollywood-propagated status of the ruling South African troika: the African National Congress/SA Communist Party/Cosatu leadership in South Africa?

----------------

Tambo statue Jack Straw UK unveiling“ Take the the former African National Congress (ANC) president Oliver Tambo, for example. South Africa's main Johannesburg International Airport was renamed after him along with dozens of streets, buildings, institutes, etc. His bust also beautifies a prominent park in London, unveiled by none other than the UK’s ex-Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.

“But who was Oliver Tambo really? Was he really the 'saintly' fighter for human rights and dignities, as portrayed by Hollywood and believed by all white liberals?

Find below a paragraph from the book Mbokodo: Inside MK: Mwezi Twala - A Soldier's Story - written by a black ex-MK 'soldier' Mwezi Twala.

Quote, p.51-52: “Oliver Tambo visited Pango [ANC-exile camp] at the height of the terror. The path from the entrance to the admin building was lined -- like a scene from 'Spartacus' -- with men, bloodied and filthy, hanging from trees. When his entourage arrived at admin, where I was officer on duty, Tambo's chief of staff told us that there would be a meeting at 'the stage' (a clearing in the jungle... where we held meetings and discussions). Runners were sent out to notify everyone in the vicinity. On his way to the stage [Oliver Tambo] again passed the men tied to the trees. Being officer on duty, I could not attend the meeting, but my deputy went. After a while I saw guards come up from the stage, release the prisoners and take them to the meeting. There, my deputy told me, instead of objecting to their treatment, as I had hoped, Tambo berated them for their dissident behaviour and appeared to approve when Andrew Masondo declared that on the president’s next visit they would be in shallow graves behind the stage. The prisoners were returned to their trees.. where the president [Oliver Tambo] passed the unfortunate men without a glance on his way out, and they hung there for another three months -- followed by three months hard labour. http://www.amazon.com/Mbokodo-Iinside-Mwezi-Twala-Soldiers/dp/1868420167

Tambo approved of torture in ANC exile camps Ok, so here you have a man.... (writes Boerboel)..  “a human rights African god according to white liberals -- yet he felt nothing for the human rights and lives of his OWN people. Is it just me, or is there some HUGE disconnect in this tale of the Hollywood Hero and his villainous behaviour?

“You be the judge. Here you have a man that approves the TORTURE and suggested DEATH (without trial) of his OWN people...yet white liberals like the UK’s Jack Straw and Gordon Brown say things like:

Mr Straw said at the tribute (the unveiling of Tambo's bust in London), “The lasting legacy of Oliver Tambo does not rest in this memorial, as great as it is. Nor does it lie in the prosperous and free future South Africa can now enjoy. His legacy will be in the hope he has offered to many across the world who struggle against oppressive dictatorships. And the conviction that the sacrifice of a few can bring about a great change for the many.”

"British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said in a statement that Mr Tambo’s vision of a democratic and non-racial South Africa was an inspiration to millions of people across the world.".. taken from:  http://boerboel1.wordpress.com/2010/11/30/anc-angles-and-their-liberal-fans/

ANC continues land-destruction plans

Print Friendly and PDF

The ANC ‘s elitist rulers view SA’s ability to produce its own food as a minor consideration – putting africanisation of all the land above all else:

The ANC’s ongoing destruction of the South African agricultural sector continues unabated under their lying nomer of socalled ‘land reform’. as outlined in their confidential  Sept 6 2010 Green Paper on Rural Development and Land Reform.

Radically-altered land-tenure system promised by ANC

When these latest ‘proposals’ are rubber-stamped as usual by the ANC-ruled parliament, it will undoubtedly sound the final death-knell for any previous abilities that the country’s farmers would still be able to provide its entire population with affordable, locally-produced food.

  • The Green Paper emphasizes the need to remove all the ‘colonial elements’ from the entire South African landscape… and promises to ‘craft a radically altered land-tenure system’ (…) “as a fundamental element in the resoltion of race, gender and class contradictions (… ) without this fundamental assumption, talk of … food security is superfluous’!’

Under its previous ‘land-reform’ programme, South Africa already has reached the stage where it has become 80% reliant on foreign wheat imports – expensively, from off-continent – for all the food-needs of its burgeoning population.  Before 1994, it exported massive quantities of grains to the rest of Africa and off-continent, while also feeding its own population most adequately with affordable food.

Present commercial farming has access to less than half-a-percent of total SA land surface:

From this pre-1994 excess food-production by its 85,000-strong commercial farming sector before 1994 – which also employed and housed more than 1,3-million blacks and their families -- South Africa now has been reduced to relying on the output of only 12,000 commercial farmers who moreover, have access to less than onehalf (0.48%) percent of the country’s total land surface… and these farmers and also many land-owning ‘colonial’ city dwellers now will also be kicked off the land under these new proposals.

The emotonally-worded introduction to the Green Paper of 6 September 2010 explains their policy:

“The ANC is acutely aware to the centrality of land as a fundamental element in the resolution of race, gender and class contradictions…. this is where agrarian change, land reform and rural development should begin. Without this fundamental assumption, talk of land reform and food security is superfluous!”

In other words, it’s much more important to the ruling party to remove ‘the colonial presence’ from the landscape -  than to maintain the country’s own  ability to even feed its own population. “Colonialism and apartheid brutalised black people,” the green paper lies blatantly: ‘they (black Africans) could no longer produce enough to feed themselves…’

However this is a blatant lie: as can be seen in the rest of Africa after half-a-century of ‘independence from colonialism’ and in the many dozens of African countries where ‘apartheid’ never existed, the African continent still cannot feed itself…despite the fact that it has many tens of millions of ‘farmers’ - except where their government decides to adopt modern, Western agricultural land-ownership systems, such as was done in Zambia several years ago.

ANC wants court approval for genocidal song SHOOT THE BOER…

Print Friendly and PDF

South Africa’s ruling party will hear early next year whether their hatespeech-song KILL/SHOOT THE BOER will remain banned…

Afrikaners protest against KILL BOER slogan application by ANC JoburgHighCourtNov292010

2010-11-29  Afrikaans singer Sunette Bridges (above-left)  and other protestors protested the ruling ANC’s genocidal hatesong KILL/SHOOT THE BOER outside the Johannesburg High Court while South Africa’s ruling party applied inside for the re-legalisation of their genocidal hatespeech song SHOOT THE BOER which was banned earlier this year. The Afrikaans human-rights protestors tore up the SA Constitution and wore T-shirts with the faces of world leaders such as Germany’s Angela Merkel with the words “Kill the Boer, Germany don’t care’; Obama’s face with the words “Yes we can kill the Afrikaner’, the UK Queen ‘s face with the words “I love Afrikaner Genocide’’ and others.

-------------------------------

The ANC will only hear early next year whether their application will succeed. Judge Leon Halgryn argued during the application yesterday that he still feels strongly that the ANC’s public singing of the words “Shoot the Boer’ (DubulĂbhunu) is an incitement to genocide and is hatespeech. “It is my opinion that the words ‘Shoot the Boer’ are inciting. It’s a crime.’

He cross-questioned the ANC’s legal counsel Advocate Gilbert Marcus about the appropriateness of still singing this song in the present time. “I realised that the song did form a part of the proud history of the ANC but good heavens is there really stilll an appropriate place for it today?”, he asked.

He will only deliver judgment early next year whether leave to appeal will be granted to the ANC. The ANC had lodged yesterday’s application because, they claimed, judge Halgryn ‘had not taken the historical context of the song into consideration in his ruling’.

ANC demands the right to sing parts of the genocidal song “because tens of thousands of people sing it…’ and ‘it’s not in the public interest to prohibit the song in its entirety…’

  • Marcus submitted that it was ‘not in the public interest to prohibit the song in its entirety because it is being sung by tens of thousands of people…’

Legal counsel for the civil-rights movement Afriforum, which earlier had also lodged a seperate criminal complaint of hatespeech against ANC-youth leader Malema for singing the song after it was legally banned, were also present -- as were Delmas businessman Willem Harmse and Mohammed Vawda, who were also involved in a seperate interdict in which Harmse had tried to stop his business-partner Vawda from using the words on a placard. The two men have since then come to an ameniable agreement about the matter.

Pro-Afrikaans-Action group members also demonstrated outside the court on the steps, headed by leader Dr Dan Roodt. They tore up copies of the SA Constitution saying that ‘this Constitution provides us Afrikaners no protection. If you say ‘kill the Boer’ it’s an incitement to genocide’. Roodt said they wore their protest tshirts with the photos of world-leaders on them ‘to create international awareness with’. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/ANC-hoor-dan-oor-sy-liedjie-20101129

Anne Pederson, 74, Nov 29 2010, murdered with gunshots and knives, Irene Park home, Klerksdorp.

2010-11-30 Klerksdorp.  74-year-old retired teacher Mrs Ann Pederson was attacked and murdered in her home in Irene Park, Klerksdorp. She sustained bullet- and slashing-wounds. Hardened policemen said they were ‘shocked’ by the method in which Mrs Pederson was murdered. She was a beloved teacher who taught at the Klerksdorp Primary school for some 35 years. She lived with her businessman-husband Torben in the home where she was attacked at around 9am on November 29 2010 by several black men. The local police immediately started following a trail with tracker-dogs. It’s not certain whether anything was stolen.

Mr Pederson said that they would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on December 12. The Pederson-couple were well-known Rotarians in town. Their family friend Ms Petro Nel, a DA-opposition party councillor, said she was very angry about the murder of ‘her dear and very humane friend’. “She has left deep tracks in the local community. No human being deserves to die this way, it’s incredibly evil.’ She is survived by two daughters Mrs Ingrid Murray and Karen Walstra, and four grandchildren. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Oud-onnie-74-in-haar-huis-doodgeskiet-20101129

SA education in crisis: 6 million young people 18 and older ‘do not work, do not study, are not being taught anything’…

Only 6,5% of the white pupils, and 2,5% of black scholars expressed an interest in becoming teachers. The alarm was raised by Prof Roger Deacon, honorary-coprofessor at the KwaZulu University, writing in Focus, a journal published by the Helen Suzman Institute. He said it will probably take decades to fix the problem.

There are ‘a great many challenges’ in developing new teachers, he pointed out. “For instance the coordination between the National and Provincial education departments is weak.New, well-trained teachers don’t immediately get hired intoo the system which subsidised their education, and existing qualified teachers are not utilised effectively at schools’.He said there is a ‘negative view of education and the capacity of the present training-instutitions are insufficient. He expressed concern that the large budgets provided for education are often used for ‘other purposes’. Up to 10% of pupils questioned in a recent poll said that education was ‘useless and uninteresting’. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Min-leerlinge-wil-skoolhou-20101129

6-million young people older than 18 ‘do not work, do not study, are not being taught anything’… a growing socio-economic timebomb…

Dr John Pampallis, special advisor to the minister of higher education and training, warned on Focus, the journal of the Helen Suzman foundation, that ‘there is a huge waste of human capital because more than 6-million young people between the ages of 18 and 35 do work, study nor are they being educated for anything. This creates a foundation for the rapid expansion of poverty in South Africa and increases the dangers of social instabilities we have already been experiencing,’ he warned.  The current educational facilities ‘should be expanded as part of a strategy to educate more college personnel and to increase the qualifications of those who are already in the educational system,’ he said. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/3-m-jonges-werk-nie-studeer-nie-word-nie-geleer-nie-20101129

Afrikaans defence-force training-officer Marc de Villiers forced to ‘live like beggar’

2010-11-30 LOHATHLA SADF TRAINING CENTRE, NORTH CAPE – Sergeant-major Marc de Villiers, a training-instructor with more than 20 years of military service and an 87% merit-rating this year, is launching an urgent Pretoria High Court application after he was transferred within 24 hours to Pretoria for ‘making a derogatory comment.’ According to the court-records, the officer is now ‘forced to live like a beggar’ because he is not paid any transfer-costs. He landed in trouble with Mrs Brig-genl. Nontobeko Mpaxa, commanding officer, after De Villiers had asked ‘who had taken the idiotic decision for trainees to wear full-dress uniform on parade in the mid-day heat.

He was summonsed to Mrs Mpaxa’s office on October 8 2010 after he’d made the comment to a colleague and rounded on him, telling him that despite his 87% merit-grading at the unit, he was ‘nog good enough to be an instructor, was undiscliplined, that he ‘did not belong in her unit’ and that she was transferring him immediately to Pretoria. He has since then been posted at the Artillery formation in Pretoria because there is no formal post for him. Erica Gibson reports in Beeld. Nobody was thus far able to tell him whether he was being charged for anything. He was given faulty transfer-documents and they also did not contain any financial authorisations to compensate his transfer-expenses. He’s now forced to ‘live like a beggar’ with family members in Pretoria while his family is stuck back in Postmasburg.

His current commanding-officer in Pretoria also cannot help him because Mrs Mpaxa should have applied for his authoritations to the defence force headquarters – but didn’t. He has now been ‘squatting’ in Pretoria for five weeks.  His wife lives in military housing and has a managerial post in Postmasburg because there is no housing available for them in Pretoria. He said in the court-application that he was illegally transferred and that he thus has lost the right to medical care or group-life insurance because there still is no authorisation from the Lohathla commanding officer for him to work in Pretoria. http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Offisier-leef-soos-n-bedelaar-20101129

Toxic minewater disaster unavoidable in SA

Print Friendly and PDF

Nov 30 2010 - The Oct 2010 deadline for preventing rising acid mine drainage to cause a massive ecological disaster in the Central Witwatersrand has come and gone – because the ANC-regime’ can’t make decisions on how to stop it. Scientific analysis over the past 15 years shows that the acid,  very toxic waste-water inside the gold-mines will rise to the ecologically perilous level of 150 metres below the surface by 2012 – and that after the end of October 2010 nothing humanly possible can still be done to avoid this.

--------------------------------------

Acid toxic mine drainage is destroying underground dolomite of greater Witwatersrand and poisoning water systems 2010 The old Witwatersrand gold-mines acid, very toxic water is eating away at the underlying dolomite and already causing large sinkholes and massive water pollution of the world-famous Cradle of Humankind and the Krugersdorp Game Reserve. The SA President’s top advisor finds the entire idea so ‘ludricous’ and unbelievable that he first wants to hold “a national conversation’  about it.  Moreover -- a private company which has already sunk R75-million of their own money into a pilot plant to reprocess the acid, highly toxic and radioactive goop, is being stopped dead in its tracks by this black government’s overwhelming greed: the ANC-regime will only approve a full-scale plant to clean up the polluted water if their ministers can get 60% sonamed ‘black-empowerment-shares in it.

-----------------------

Sound scientific proposals to avoid this disaster have been in government’s hands for more than two years, but nothing has been done. On the contrary, the presidency’s planning commission Minister Trevor Manuel found the very idea of acid minewater flooding the streets of the Witwatersrand ‘ludicrous’.

From February 2012 onwards, this very toxic acid mine effluent will rapidly start to erode dolomite structures in Johannesburg and the near East Rand -- and shortly thereafter the water will be poisoning all the boreholes and fountains.

Acid Polluted Hippo Dam in Krugersdorp Game Reserve Picture: Krugersdorp Game Reserve’s Hippo Pool now is heavily polluted with toxic, acid minewater which is rising unhindered from worked out gold-mines at the rate of 15.7-megalitres a day.…

-------------------------------------------

As accurately predicted 15 years ago, this already started since September 2002 on the West Rand in the Cradle of Humankind, the Krugersdorp Game Reserve and the Sterkfontein caves since September 2002.

From February 2012 the first acid water will emerge above ground at Cinderella East --  an old, abandoned shaft less than 100 metres from Rondebult Road in Boksburg – very close to Boksburg’s central business district.

The toxic poison will spread from there at the rate of 57 megalitres (million litres) a day – four times that the steady poisoning of  West Rand, where 15.7 megalitres is being discharged every day. Acid Mine drainage from WestRandMines Eating away underground dolomite Boksburg since 2007

From February 2012 onwards, this very toxic acid mine effluent will rapidly start to erode dolomite structures in Johannesburg and the near East Rand -- and shortly thereafter the water will be poisoning all the boreholes and fountains.  As accurately predicted 15 years ago, this already started since September 2002 on the West Rand in the Cradle of Humankind, the Krugersdorp Game Reserve and the Sterkfontein caves since September 2002.

---------------------------

A plan to avoid the crisis should have been implemented by October 2010 at the latest: the model for the calculation was compiled by various scientists, mainly geohydrologists, for a period of more than 15 years.

Marius van Biljon, who has an MSc degree in geohydrology, started doing these calculations in the Western Witwatersrand in the mid-90s, at the behest of the old JCI. By 1998 he had computed that in October 2002 the first mine water would flow from the old Swartrif shaft near the Epol plant in Randfontein. His calculation was out by two weeks: the water started to flow out two weeks earlier, in September 2002. Today this toxic-waste water outflow is polluting all the riverine systems in the Krugersdorp Game Reserve, the Cradle of Humankind and the world-famous Sterkfontein Caves. It is also poisoning farm dams and other natural water sourcesand farmers’ crops and livestock are being poisoned so badly that the supermarkets now refuse to buy food produced from that region.

Van Biljon was later employed by Golder & Associates, one of the world’s largest and best-known environmental consultancy firms, to develop precisely the same model for the Central and Eastern Witwatersrand basin. Mining plans for every single shaft were obtained. These were digitised, enabling calculations of total volumes created by underground mining activity. The group then calculated water inflows, scientifically termed recharge. This they used to develop models to arrive at the rate at which the acid water was rising.

FEBRUARY 2012

The model showed that the water would reach the critical environmental level (CEL) by February 2012, said Van Biljon. The CEL is now the point at which the acid water will reach the low-lying dolomite, destroy it and cause sinkholes – in the Central Basin, right in the centre of the country's most populous areas. At the important south-western vertical shaft of the old ERPM mine in Germiston, the CEL has been established to be about 150 metres below the surface. The rate at which the water is rising in five shafts in the Central Basin is measured every week by the East Rand Proprietary Mines’ (ERPM) ’s ventilation division, using measuring instruments beneath old skips which are sent down to the water in the different shafts.

The data are used to test the accuracy of Van Biljon and Golder & Associates’ model. To date the model’s accuracy has proved to be above 95%.

Presidency’s planning commission minister found the idea ‘ludicrous:

Scientists involved in compiling the model have until now been “unwilling to comment on it for ethical reasons” – however recent dismissive remarks by Trevor Manuel, the Planning Commission Minister in the Presidency, greatly alarmed them.

  • In Augus 2010 Manuel said that “what was needed was a national conversation on an empirical basis”, because “the idea that acid mine drainage would run through the streets of Johannesburg next week and that we would all need to wear Wellington boots, was totally ludicrous”. …

Perhaps not in Johannesburg as yet --  but that is exactly what will soon happen in nearby Boksburg, another scientist who wished to remain anonymous, told Sake24.

Government greed stops private company from cleaning up the acid water:

Jaco Schoeman, MD of Western Utilities Corporation, is the brains behind a proposed water-treatment facility to pump out and process the acid water. However he said that “the government insisted that the company form a public-private partnership to operate the plant with ‘black empowerment partners’ (from the ruling African National Congress). Western Utilities is a wholly owned subsidiary of Watermark Global, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market in London. It was originally established to fund, design and build the water treatment plant capable of processing 75 mega litres of acid mine drainage – the current overflow at Krugersdorp is 15,7 megalitres a day.  Schoeman said Western Utilities had already undertaken a pilot project, which cost R75million and for which the SA government had paid nothing at all.

Acid Mine Drainage poisoning Cradle of Humankind Krugersdorp Game Reserve Sterkfontein Caves

The Cradle of Humankind is a World Heritage Site first named by UNESCO in 1999, about 50 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg, South Africa in the Gauteng province. This site covers 47,000 hectares (180 sq mi)[1]; it contains a complex of limestone caves, including the Sterkfontein Caves, where the 2.3-million year-old fossil Australopithecus africanus (nicknamed "Mrs. Ples") was found in 1947 by Dr. Robert Broom and John T. Robinson. The find helped corroborate the 1924 discovery of the juvenile Australopithecus africanus skull, "Taung Child", by Raymond Dart, at Taung in the North West Province of South Africa, where excavations still continue. The name Cradle of Humankind reflects the fact that the site has produced a large number, as well as some of the oldest, hominid fossils ever found, some dating back as far as 3.5 million years ago.[2] Sterkfontein alone has produced more than a third of early hominid fossils ever found.[3]
