The rageblog South Africa Sucks has been taken down once again by its internet host. I guess the truth is just too hard to take for some people…

South Africa Sucks, published on boerboel1.wordpress.com is a typical rage-blog – ranting against everything and everybody which has their attention at any given moment – no holds barred. They have been hacked away and taken off internet sites repeatedly because of their outrageous graphics, photographs and very high level of satire and sexual innuendos.

SA Sucks rants against everything and everybody:

Yet every time they are hacked away, they just start up again. The latest reason for censoring them off the internet probably is the determined rage they maintained this past week with their typical boerboel-like tenacity against YouTube hero, Reindier Gouws. They believed that Reindier was in denial of the genocide targetting his own Boer nation and provided several examples of why they believed this.

Usually, South Africa Sucks articles were much more outrageous than they ever were in their rants against Gouws. Below is just one example of the kind of stuff they liked to write about the most – and why they were loved and hated in equal measure, depending on the political viewpoints of the persons reading them. For instance, they revealed that the mythical God-like status of Oliver Tambo was suffering from badly eroding clay feet after revelations were published of the horrific torture-and-rape practices in the ANC’s own exile camps.

The mythical God-like status of Oliver Tambo:

“Boerboel’ wrote: “I wonder how long it will still take for white liberals to start questioning the mythical Hollywood-propagated status of the ruling South African troika: the African National Congress/SA Communist Party/Cosatu leadership in South Africa?

“Take the the former African National Congress (ANC) president Oliver Tambo, for example. South Africa's main Johannesburg International Airport was renamed after him along with dozens of streets, buildings, institutes, etc. His bust also beautifies a prominent park in London, unveiled by none other than the UK’s ex-Foreign Secretary Jack Straw. (left). But who was Oliver Tambo really? Was he really the 'saintly' fighter for human rights and dignities, as portrayed by Hollywood and believed by all white liberals?

Below is just one paragraph from the book Mbokodo: Inside MK: Mwezi Twala - A Soldier's Story - written by a black ex-Umkhonto-we-Sizwe (ANC military wing) operative, Mwezi Twala.

Quote, p.51-52: “Oliver Tambo visited Pango [ANC-exile camp] at the height of the terror. The path from the entrance to the admin building was lined -- like a scene from 'Spartacus' -- with men, bloodied and filthy, hanging from trees. When his entourage arrived at admin, where I was officer on duty, Tambo's chief of staff told us that there would be a meeting at 'the stage' (a clearing in the jungle... where we held meetings and discussions). Runners were sent out to notify everyone in the vicinity. On his way to the stage [Oliver Tambo] again passed the men tied to the trees. Being officer on duty, I could not attend the meeting, but my deputy went. After a while I saw guards come up from the stage, release the prisoners and take them to the meeting. There, my deputy told me, instead of objecting to their treatment, as I had hoped, Tambo berated them for their dissident behaviour and appeared to approve when Andrew Masondo declared that on the president’s next visit they would be in shallow graves behind the stage. They also outraged many by publishing the government’s own statistics of the racial composition in South African prisons: pointing out that clearly, the ‘whites’ and ‘Indians’ were not the main motivators of the horrific violent-crime rate which has enveloped South Africa ever since the ANC-regime gained hegemony through fraudulent elections in 1994:

Karma is still a B said...: Instead of leaving kak comments, lets talk the truth here.
The truth is that SAS has been taken down because of the calls to violence towards Rendier (incl. the threats)

If they hadn't threatened Rendier personally, or if the blog owner hadn't written that he would pay Rendier a visit and all he would need is "cleanex and gloves", then his blog would still be online.

SAS isn't being censored. They broke the most basic rules of Wordpress (see 'reasons to suspend blogs' on Wordpress' Abuse and ToS pages).

Karma is still a B said...: Actually, even if Rendier requested references to him to be taken down, Wordpress might still have suspended the whole blog just because of the personal attacks.
They clearly state that they suspend blogs when this happens. They don't say "we will contact the owner first and ask him nicely to remove offensive posts".

They broke the rules and thus was the blog suspended. It's normal. The same thing would happen, if you posted the same things on your blog that they posted to theirs. (See bloggers terms of service); 7 February 2011 23:48

When complaints are received at other 'free' blogsites such as Google, the bloggers receive private communications in which they are first asked to remove the offensive posts or to change them so that they don't give offense. One can communicate with one another about the matter. In this case, SA SUCKS entire site was simply removed. No advance warnings given. No chance provided to remove the offensive page. I can't agree with either - and I think communicating with each other by logging electronic death-threats at each other are merely penis-measuring contests anyway. Guys do that sort of thing all the time. Growl at each other. I 've personally also received thousands of death-threats over the years. I found them offensive. Yet I've never once asked anyone to remove the sources.. I just print them out for my 'death threat file" - try and identify the person(s) and sites making such threats, and keep these on record just in case my local police want to investigate in case I get attacked. But I think these kind of penis-measuring contests between guys should never be taken seriously. Otherwise why aren't the streets full of corpses? With Google's free Blogger platform, a blog owner receives a courtesy email from them indicating the exact content in question. The blog owner then gets the opportunity to remove the so called offensive content and then the service continues without interference. However with Wordpress it seems like as soon as they receive a complaint of any sort they simply close the blog in question without consulting the owners, unless they do and we are not aware of this.

It would be appreciated if the Wordpress Administrators could clarify this issue and their policy/protocol to us seeing that Wordpress is one of the highest respected open source content management systems out there today.

Karma is still a B said...: I don't know where the concerns come from. It's pretty simple: if a blog owner threats a person, his blog will be suspended.
It's like driving too fast through a speedcam. You will get the ticket no matter what.
And it doesn't matter how the behaviour was of Rendier Gouws. He didn't own the blog, it's the blogowner that is responsible for the blog and for deleting Rendier's (and other people's comments like his own comments where he threatened Rendier).

Blogger on the other hand doesn't allow hatred against groups based on religion, skin color etc...
They will take down the blog too, if it's merely unfounded attacks against a groups. No courtesy emails or whatever like LongWalkSinceFreedom said.

However guys, it's only a suspension not a deletion. The blogowner can work things out with Wordpress and get his blog back.; 8 February 2011 15:46
