Black-racist assaults old Boer woman in hospital

MRS LINA COETZEE, 85, HOSPITALISED WITH A BROKEN HIP, WAS BRUTALLY BEATEN IN HER HOSPITAL BED AT POSTMASBURG GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL – AND POLICE WEREN’T INTERESTED…
COETZEE LINA 85 BRUTALLY ASSAULTED IN POSTMASBURG STATE HOSPITAL BY BLACK MEN MAY 7 2011
POSTMASBURG government hospital, May 7 2011 – source: Die Ghaap newspaper - In a shocking racist assault, a black man walked into a women’s ward past the black patients, straight up to Afrikaner patient 85-year-old Mrs Lina Coetzee, and brutally beat her up. Her bruised face and bloodied pillow are silent testimony to the vicious assault. The frail old lady was brought to hospital that morning with a broken hip and was unable to defend herself.
Police more concerned about welfare of arrested assailant – and left without taking any witness statements:
One of the black male patients from an adjacent ward saved her: rushing to the old Afrikaner woman’s aid, grabbing the attacker from behind and restraining him by locking his arms around the assailant’s arms and upper body. Mrs Coetzee’s family members restrained the assailant of their beloved family matriarch until the police eventually bothered to show up. The journalist of the local ‘Die Ghaap’ newspaper noted that there was no sign of any of the usualy security guards at the hospital and that it took the SA Police Force an extraordinarily long time to show up and arrest the assailant. A family spokesman said: “The police showed much more concern about the welfare of the black assailant than they did towards the victim and asked lots of questions about the way he was arrested. They showed little interest in taking any statements from any of the witnesses on the ward. Mrs Coetzee’s family members said the behaviour of the police is unacceptable and inexplcable. Mrs Coetzee has meanwhile been transferred to a hospital in Kimberley, where she is being guarded 24/7 by family members. The doctor said while she is traumatised, she’s also strong – and hopes that she will recover from the traumatic assault, as a broken hip ‘; already is life-threatening for someone of her advanced years. source: submission of scanned newspaper page Sat, May 7, 2011 at 12:52 PM to  farmitracker@gmail.com

OTHER RECENT SENSELESS VIOLENCE TARGETTING AFRIKANERS: The Petrusburg high school rugbyteam threatened on the road by a black cop with a gun; Alje, 70, and Annemarie van Deemter survive hammer attacks; Hester van der Berg, 80 , beaten to death in Port Elizabeth; Antjie Parkin, 73 and farm worker Thomas Tshabalala murdered in on Ellisras farm..
Afrikaner rugby-team of Petrusburg threatened by police officer with firearm
Jana van der Merwe of Volksblad
reports from Koffiefontein: A sports day became a day of terror for a high-school Afrikaans rugby team of Petrusburg when a black taxi driver tried to push their combi off the road and threatened them with a gun.
The entire chain of events was caused by a gigantic pothole in the road, said teacher Thea Ferreira. She was driving the combi and suddenly had to reroute around the pothole – unaware that a high-speed black taxi driver had planned to overtake the combi right at that moment from behind on Saturday-afternnon. The Under-16 boys are on the rugby teams of the Combined school AJC Jooste. Mrs Ferreira said the combi-driver behind her obviously got angry when she had to sway to the middle of the road to avoid her combi from being wrecked in the pothole with all the children in it. The black taxi-driver passed them at high speed and slammed on his breaks right in front of them – and then tried to push the Afrikaners inside their combi off the road. “The boys all saw what was going on and also saw that the man pointed a gun at us. I was calm but of the boys became terrified and hysterical. Mrs Ferreira alerted her husband, driving behind them in a bakkie, about the danger by cellphone. He also had a few pupils in the bakkie with him. “My husband tried to insert his bakkie between us and the Tazz taxi. The driver that also pointed a gun at him. I phoned the police at Koffiefontein. They reacted at once: forming a road block at Petrusburg and arresting the driver. “ The Ferreira couple lodged formal charges against the man at the Petrusburg police station. “Is this how our lives are in South Africa now? People can just shoot each other dead for making an error in traffic?” she asked.
Some of the pupils say they recognised the Tazz  driver, identified him by name, saying that he was a SA Police officer who lives in Petrusburg but works in the North Cape province. “We were scared,’ said the youths, too terrified to be identified. “We saw him turning on his emergency lights, and driving slowly in front of us. Our teacher didn’t know what to do. He first showed the firearm by pointing it up in the air and then he pointed it at us.' And later on he told the police all kinds of stories – first claiming that we were ‘robbers’.  Then he said he was helping his brother’.
Free State police spokeswoman Lt.kol. Annelie Wrensch confirmed the incident and the charges on Sunday but was unable to provide the news media with the police officer’s name. She confirmed that a docket was opened for ‘illegally pointing a firearm’ against the black driver – but was unable to say who he was- Volksblad http://afrikaans.news24.com/Suid-Afrika/Nuus/Polisieman-rig-glo-vuurwapen-op-bussie-vol-seuns-20110509
Alje en Annemarie van Deemter, 70, survive hammer attacks, Bloemspruit AH Bloemfontein
2011-05-09 Jana van der Merwe, Volksblad, Bloemfontein – The 70-year-old Afrikaans couple Alje and Annemarie van Deemter survived a brutal hammer attack on their Free State smallholding at Bloemspruit, near Bloemfontein. This is the fourth such attack since September against smallholders in this region. The brutal assault on Saturday-morning has left the couple badly traumatised. Mrs Van Deemter suffered serious bruise-injuries. The assailant wore a balaclave. Mr Van Deemter said from his bed at the Bloemfontein Mediclinic on Sunday that it is ‘a Godly miracle’ that they didn’t get murdered. “My wife said this experience was worse than the heart-bypass operation she had a few months earlier.’ Mr Van Deemter isn’t well either: he’s had a hipreplacement and suffers from back-problems. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this year.

Malema trial witness intimidated: arrested in springs

Print Friendly and PDF

An Afrikaner witness for the Transvaal Agricultural Union in the Malema hatespeech hearing was arrested and kept in isolation for four days;  the TLU’s advocate’s family  is hiding because of death threats, attempt to kill his daughter;  Afrikaners at the hearing are intimidated by a wall of hate-speech screamers… and Malema’s private guards’ illegal display of AK47s is also terrifying witnesses …

Massive intimidation tactics are being used by the ruling ANC-regime to influence the outcome of the Malema hatespeech hearing at the Equality court in Johannesburg, which continues on 19 May.  Malema already was found guilty of hatespeech: this trial is his appeal to get the previous ruling against him overturned and to ‘legalise’ his chant Kill the Boer - sung accompanied by his shooting-gesture body-language. The ANC’s main tactic: to stop witnesses from testifying.  Last week, Leon Koekemoer, a working-class Afrikaner who had initially been listed as a witness by the Transvaal agricultural union as a witness against Malema, was reportedly quietly arrested in Casseldale, Springs and illegally held an isolation cell for four days without being allowed to even consult his lawyer.  He is no longer a witness. The Koekemoer family (pic below) was attacked in April 2010 by four black men who shouted “Die white man, Viva Malema’.

‘This is a police state – I was held for four days in an isolation cell and not allowed to speak to anyone, not even a lawyer… ‘ arrested witness Leon Koekemoer.  TLU-advocate Roelof du Plessis, after death threats against his family : … ‘We are back in the dark apartheid days where State agents followed you, tapped your phones, broke into your homes and intimidated your family.’

Leon Koekemoer told me in a telephone interview today that he was arrested last Thursday-afternoon and kept in an isolation-cell for four days. He was not allowed to speak to anyone, he was not allowed access to a lawyer, he was refused any pain medication for a pounding headache -  and the police also were not allowed to speak to him at all.  “This is a police-state,’ he said. “People like us who ask for protection are ‘protected’ by the same people who chant hatespeech slogans against us outside the courtrooms.’   He denied Springs police clKoekemoer Annelie she and family fought off four farm attackers Cullinan April102010 shouted Viva Malema.jepgaims that he posed a danger to the security of the State: the materials they had found during a search of his home are items like flares – used for farm-protection when the family was living at the Pretoria smallholding where they were attacked last year.  They still have his personal computer. “The Boeremag documents items they claimed I had in my possession, merely were news cuttings. The Boeremag is not an illegal organisation and anyway, having news clippings about them isn’t proof that I belong to such an organisation.’ He was eventually released on his own cognisance after four days and the case is expected to be scheduled for a date in Springs magistrate’s court sometime in July 2011.

‘Die white man – viva Malema’ shouted the farm-attackers:

This working-class Afrikaner witness could have provided proof that Malema’s hatespeech does have an effect on farm-attackers: he could have described the personal experiences of his family:  attacked in April last year by four armed black men. ‘They came to kill us, this was no robbery, and I had no wage-disputes with anyone. These were unknown men who attacked us and left behind many valuable items. When they came into the house they screamed:  "Die white man, viva Malema'. One of the attackers was shot dead by one of the six victims – a lodger of the family. (details on caption, right)

After Koekemoer’s arrest in Springs, the police spokesman made a point of noting in his media-statement that  ‘Boeremag documentation” and an ‘illegal arms cache’ were found during Koekemoer’s arrest. The ANC created a win-win situation: if his testimony is no longer presented, the intimidation worked: the TLU took Koekemoer off their witness-list.

Illegal gun-toting of Malema body guards make him look like Idi Amin

ANTI-BOER intimidation tactics at Malema hatespeech trial Equality courtAPR152011jpegMeanwhile one must also question why the police have not also arrested those AK47-toHATESPEECH CASE MALEMA BODY GUARD MACHINEGUNS JUDGE ORDERED REMOVED FROM COURTROOM APR132011ting Malema body guards – private security guards are not allowed to display weaponry publicly, by law. There has been  widespread criticism in the news media, with Beeld commenting that the body-guards made Malema look like the notorious deposed Ugandan murderer-dictator Idi Amin’.

So with all this bad press, why do the ANC still continue with this tactic?  The judge even had to order them removed from his courtroom…but did not mention anything about the intimidation-effect outside which this aggressive display of powerful attack-carbines would have on white witnesses who for the most part have already been badly traumatised by the armed aggression targetting this community.

The worst intimidation however is suffered by the equality court’s visitors and employees – they bravely have to climb those steps while braving a wall of highly-aggressive, cursing, war-dancing, snarling, chanting, screaming and spitting ANC youth league ‘protestors’.

MALEMA TRIAL BARRAGE OF HATESPEECH SCREAMERS TO INTIMIDATE AFRIKANER WITNESSES

There are even death threats:  the endangered family of the Transvaal Agricultural Union’s advocate, Roelof du Plessis, SC: had to go into hiding in the face of death threats, attempts to run their daughter off the road and mysterious break-ins.

Clearly, only the most courageous Afrikaners and Boers dare to climb those steps, to be photographed and publicly identified by the news media. Only the most lion-hearted Afrikaner men and women dare to walk through that barrage of hatespeech up those courtroom steps.

Afrikaners determined to use every peaceful, legal route to stop the ANC’s incitements to genocide:

The fact that these Afrikaner witnesses, advocates, lawyers, trade-unionists, and agriculturalists are nevertheless persevering in facing this ordeal at huge personal risks,  testifies to their courage and their powerful determination to exhaust every legal and peaceful means at their disposal to stop the ANC-regime from inciting its followers with its current barrage of hatespeech which has all the hallmarks of calling for the  genocide of the small, highly visible Afrikaner/Boer minority. http://censorbugbear-reports.blogspot.com/rural-murders-of-whites-in-sa-sources.html

What is the purpose of the ANC’s NATIONAL RURAL YOUTH SERVICE and its militia-training of 600 ANCYL members at Salhanha?

AFRIFORUM CHARL OBERHOLZER AGGRESSIVE RESPONSE BY ANC MINISTER MILITARY TRAINING MAY32011

Wall of aggression at Lindiwe Sisulu’s Ministry of Defence:

On May 3 2011, the civil rights movement Afriforum youth league national chairman Charl Oberholzer, above, walked into the office of the country’s Minister of Defence and Military Veterans Department, Lindiwe_Sisulu,  to hand in a petition  asking the minister to explain,  under the Freedom of Information Act,  why 600 civilian ANC-youth league members underwent militia-training at Saldanha military base at the expense of the taxpayers to create the mysterious “National Rural Youth Service’, and what use this militia-group could possibly have to require them to undergo military-training.  The young Afrikaner’s delegation ran ‘into a wall of aggression’ at Sisulu’s office. Their petition for information was ‘rejected as unnecessary’ by this unnamed, obviously very aggressive government official (right), who told Oberholzer that ‘the Minister did not have time to have to explain themselves to Afriforum youths”.  http://www.facebook.com/notes/afriforum-youth/

UNPO, ICC petitions by Afrikaner/Boers on April 5 2011

And a month earlier, other Afrikaners and Boers also were issuing warnings at international forums:  legal counsel Paul Kruger of the Volksraad Verkiesings Kommissie on April 5 2011 went to the Unrepresented Nations and People’s Organisation (UNPO) in The Hague to hold a press conference about the plight of his people. Then he and his wife walked to the nearby International Criminal Court  and handed in a petition from the Verkenners movement, asking the independent international tribunal to investigate the ruling African National Congress and the Government of South Africa for their gross human-rights violations and genocidal behaviour against the Afrikaner/Boer minority.

The African National Congress has always bullied, threatened, and killed its opponents:

The ANC’s only response to all these peaceful actions by the Afrikaner/Boers has been to bully them – as they have always done throughout their history to anyone who dares to stand up for their civil rights and thus are perceived to be the enemies of the ANC. Their bullying tactics at the Malema trial are clearly designed to intimidate the witnesses and to thus terrify them enough so that they would not testify against Malema at his hatespeech trial. It’s working: at least one farmer decided not to testify about the armed attacks suffered by his family: he quite rightly feared for their safety.

The hatespeech continues: ‘white people should be treated like criminals

This week, President Jacob Zuma again was sharply criticised for  remaining quiet while Julius Malema told an election rally that “white people should be treated like criminals for stealing land from black people.” Zuma has never criticised anything said or done by Malema – and his silence speaks loudly: he obviously approves of Malema’s hatespeech and genocidal-tactics.

TAU SA, Afriforum will not withdraw hate speech case
The Cosatu trade union movement, which is a co-ruling partner of the ANC and the SA Communist Party, meanwhile has been issuing a barrage of disinformation about the Malema trial, constantly trying to divide the Afrikaner organisations which have lodged the lawsuit with claims that for instance the Transvaal Agricultural Union and/or Afriforum have approached them to ‘settle the case’. None of these claims are true yet the confusion is deliberately spread – and the news media is cooperating in this. The TLU  says however that ‘this case has to go all the way to determine if singing “Kill the farmers” is hate speech. “TAU SA is not prepared to drop this case even if that would mean going on with it on its own, because we need to have any songs like these, which are insulting to any part of the community, be banned from singing in South African society,” say Mr Meintjes.

ANTI-BOER intimidation tactics at Malema hatespeech trial Equality courtAPR152011jpeg  Family of TLU-advocate facing sinister threats, breakins, attempts to kill daughter:

White witnesses at the Malema hatespeech-trial also reportedly are being urinated on, loudly cursed, screamed at and spat upon and have to walk past this wall of loudly screaming, aggressive, dancing protestors who often chant ‘Kill the Boer’ from many accounts.  Their loud singing can be heard thumping away even inside the court-room on the eighth floor, report Afriforum representatives at the trial. On the first day, Judge Lamont ordered other intimidators out of his court room: i.a. the machine-gun-toting body-guards accompanying Malema and ‘protecting him’. Lamont did not however order the court access cleared to stop witnesses from being intimidated. It’s actually illegal for private body-guards or private security-guards to show any weapons outside their clothing in South Africa. The SA Police watching the proceedings however also have thus far failed to arrest these body-guards below for flouting the country’s laws which rule the arming of private security guards… http://www.solidariteitradio.co.za

DU PLESSIS Renette and daughtger Marinette THREAT TO FAMILY SINCE MALEMA CASE Graeme Hosken of the Pretoria News reported on April 18 2011 that the family of Advocate Roelof du Plessis, SC, left, who acts for the Transvaal Agriculture Union in this case, is being threatened in many sinisters ways since the start of the case. After discovering that the tyres on the car of their eldest daughter were sabotaged and cut in such a way that they would burst, causing a potentially fatal accident, the family now fear that the attacks are taking on a more sinister tone.“To say we are not scared would be a lie. These incidents, especially the latest, are far worse than before,” said Renette du Plessis.Among recent attacks were Du Plessis’s narrowly avoiding being rammed off the road last week.

After a recent night out the family returned to find that their house had been broken into.“Nothing was missing, but our family pictures were placed with newspaper clippings of the court case on our garden rubbish dump. “When we turned on our computers that night they crashed. When we took them to a computer store the next day we discovered someone had planted a string of highly sophisticated viruses on the computers, destroying everything on them. Added to these attacks was when two men driving a bakkie tried to force our daughter off the road. These incidents are becoming more sinister. We now fear for our children’s safety. While we do not know what will happen next, one thing is sure, Roelof will continue with this case. He will not stop because if he does it means that those who are behind this have won,” she said.

The couple’s eldest daughter, Marinette, said she became truly afraid when she discovered that her car tyres had been sabotaged. Roelof du Plessis said: “It makes one feel as though we are back in the dark apartheid days where state agents followed you, tapped your phones, broke into your homes and intimidated your family.”Du Plessis said even if he opened a case “nothing is likely to come of it”. - Pretoria News http://www.iol.co.za/news/crime-courts/threat-to-family-in-malema-case-1.1057908

Kill Boer – Malema trial: massive intimidation

Print Friendly and PDF

An alleged witness in the Malema hatespeech trial was arrested last week;  the Transvaal Agricultural uníon advocate’s family is in hiding because of death threats, attempt to kill daughter;  Afrikaners intimidated by a wall of hate-speech screamers… and Malema’s private guards’ illegal display of AK47s is terrifying witnesses …

Massive intimidation tactics are being used by the ruling ANC-regime to influence the outcome of the Malema hatespeech trial at the Equality court in Johannesburg, which continues on 19 May.  Malema already was found guilty of hatespeech at the same court last year with costs: this trial is his appeal to get the previous ruling overturned. The ANC’s main tactic: to stop witnesses from testifying.  Last week, one witness  was reportedly quietly arrested in Casseldale, Springs.

‘Die white man – viva Malema’ shouted the farm-attackers:

This working-class Afrikaner witness could describe a personal ordeal: when he and his family were attacked in April last year by four armed black men, these thugs had  reportedly screamed: "Die white man, viva Malema'. One of the attackers was shot dead by one of the six victims. The arresting police-officer made a point of noting that  ‘Boeremag documentation” and an ‘illegal arms cache’ were found during the arrest.  I confirmed with the family that his personal computer was also confiscated. It’s important to know that the Boeremag is not illegal;  and that ownership of such documentation is neither proof of membership, nor  illegal. But the stage has now been set to discredit this testimony if necessary. It’s a win-win situation: if his testimony is not presented, the intimidation would have worked.

Afrikaner smallholder arrested on trumped-up charges:

Last week, an Afrikaner smallholder who also submitted a statement to the Malema trial, was arrested on trumped up charges of ‘owning Boeremag material’ and ‘illegal weapons’.  It’s essential to point out that the Boeremag organisation – if it even existed except in State-documents  – has never been declared a prohibited organisation: it’s not illegal to own such documentation. And I have also been reliably informed that the  claimed ‘ illegal weapons cache’  were legally-registered, ordinary defensive weapons which are allowed under South African law.

While we do not know what will happen next, one thing is sure, Roelof will continue with this case.He will not stop because if he does it means that those who are behind this have won,” she said.

89 murders a day in south africa

Print Friendly and PDF

10 murders a day during apartheid  - 89 murders a day under the ANC-regime

Getting Away with Murder
The United Christian Action has persistently presented evidence over the years with its meticulous research that South Africa’s murder statistics are being seriously underreported ever since 2000.
The UCA Report on Murder in South Africa revealed that in the 44 years from 1950 to 1993, there was an average of 7,036 murders per year. This covered all the violence during the apartheid years.
This murder rate soared in 1994 inder the first eight years (of ‘peace’) under the ANC, to an average of 24,206 murders officially reported by the police crime statistics  each year. However, the much higher Interpol statistics claim that the murder rate in South Africa during the ANC years has averaged 47,882 per year.
By the year 2000, for every 1,000 crimes committed in South Africa, only 430 criminals were arrested. Of these, only 77 were convicted, while barely 8 of these are being sentenced to two or more years of imprisonment. It is also calculated that South African convicts have a 94% rate of becoming in crime after release from prison.

Still Serious Underreporting by SA Police: 10 years later:

SAPS CULPIBLE HOMICIDES OFFICIAL STATS SAPS MURDER STATS OFFICIAL WEBSITE
And by  2010, the underreporting continued, with the SAPS claiming that there were 12,272 culpible homicides and 16,834 murders reported – officially.
The 22-page United Christian Action report by Robert McCafferty, is based on original source documents, government archives, the Central Statistics Service, Interpol, the South African Medical Research Council statistics, and many other sources. The report casts serious doubt on the South African government’s claim that the murder rate has been decreasing.
Victims’ surveys have consistently uncovered between 60% and 70% more crime than reported by official sources. Upwards of 50% of crime in many serious categories goes unreported.

Statistical Discrepancies: 10,000 more murders than claimed by police:
Bronkhorst Chris tortured smallholder dies from maltreatment in hospice May242011 While police crime statistics show that there were 21,683 murders in the year 2000, the Medical Research Council puts the figure at 32,482. (based on death certificates). The MRC’s estimate is closer to the figure from the Department of Home Affairs, which is 30,068. This represents one-third more murders than reported by the SAPS, a discrepancy of more than 10,000 murders. The Institute for Security Studies basically uses the SAPS figures. http://www.iss.co.za/pubs/CrimeIndex/01Vol5No1/World.html
89 murders a day:
The Medical Research Council’s statistics- based on the analysis of death-certificates -  revealed that 89 murders a day were being committed, on average, every day in South Africa.

Interpol claimed that there were 54,298 ‘murders known to police’
Interpol claims even higher numbers of murders in South Africa. While the SAPS claims that there were 26,883 murders in 1995, Interpol claims that there were 54,298 “murders known to the police” in 1995/96. Interpol’s figures are approximately double the numbers of “recorded murders” in South Africa. According to Interpol, South Africa has the highest recorded per capita murder rate of the countries covered in their report for 1998. In that year, Interpol recorded the per capita murder rate in the USA as 6 per 100,000, while in South Africa it was 59 per 100,000.

Organised Crime – and not one gang-leader of the 700 syndicates has ever been arrested:
A report from the World Economic Forum
claimed widespread corruption in the South African police service – where one in four police officers in the greater Johannesburg were under criminal investigation at the time of the report.
SA Police estimate that there are currently “about 700 extremely well financed and superbly armed crime syndicates operating in and from South Africa.” However, it was also reported that “not a single ring leader of any of the 700 crime syndicates operating in South Africa has been arrested.”

The Failure of the Criminal Justice System
In 2000, only half of all murder cases were sent to court, and only 4007 of the ‘official murders’ resulted in a guilty verdict. The MRC reported 32,482 murders in 2000. This means that for every 8 murders in 2000, only one murderer was convicted. Obviously there is a delay factor to sentencing; however, the murder rate has been consistently high and the conviction rate considerably low by comparison.

One report is quoted claiming: “Despite the President’s boast that South African crime statistics are improving – with reductions in incidents of some serious categories of offences – other figures showing the decline of convictions suggest that the forces of law and order are alarmingly on the retreat. Convictions for using and dealing with drugs, for example, collapsed …”

56% of homicide victims tested positive for high blood alcohol levels:
Alcohol abuse is also shown to go hand in hand with South Africa’s culture of violence – “according to the National Injury Mortality Surveillance System, 56% of homicide victims sampled for blood alcohol levels tested positive.”

The Most Murderous Societies On Earth
The Nedcore Project has concluded that: “South Africa and Southern Africa are probably the most murderous societies on earth, even with the probable under-reporting.” The Nedcore Project claims the results of their surveys “underscore the fact that crime has become South Africa’s pre-eminent sociological problem. It now eclipses unemployment in concerns of all South Africans.”

Bizarre behaviour of SA government:

ATTACKS ON WHITES BEFORE_DURING_AND_AFTERWC2010 The bizarre behaviour of the ANC government in imposing a moratorium on crime statistics is also questioned. The report shows that in the first seven years of ANC rule, violence and crime in South Africa increased by 33%, officially.  By 2010, when the WC2010 world cup tournament was held, crimes were not even reported by the SAPF to the news media until the tournaments were over in July 2010. The graphs maintained by a temporary criminology-site, set up to monitor the crime during the WC2010, noted a dramatic increase in violent crimes targetting whites just after the end of the FIFA event. http://www.farmitracker.com

Worse Than War
ODENDAAL Jeanette witness Baloyi shows HOW SHE WAS EXECUTED BY COP Kempton Park The UCA Report on Murder in South Africa reveals that according to the official statistics, in the 44 years from 1950 to 1993, there was an average of 7,036 murders per year. This covered the the apartheid years.

This soared in 1994 inder the first eight years (of ‘peace’) under the ANC, to an average of 24,206 murders committed each year. However, if the Interpol statistics are accepted, then the murder rate in South Africa during the ANC years has averaged 47,882 per year.

When The Death Penalty Deterrent Is Removed
The report noted that during the suspension-period of the death sentence in 1989 to its abolition in 1996, the murder-rates also rose exponentially each year.

Official Cover Up
Sharp discrepancies between official statistics and those of Interpol and the Medical Research Council are considered. One observer is quoted as saying that the “easiest way for the police to reduce the crime rate is simply to do nothing but record only those crimes where a case number is absolutely mandatory …”

Numerous experts are quoted as suspecting “serious under reporting”; “perhaps these figures are concealed for political reasons’; “the reason for this under reporting could be the desire to change the ongoing reputation of South Africa as the crime capital of the world.”

Living Behind Bars and Locks while the crime-gangs rule the streets...
FIELD OF CROSSES STOP BOER GENOCIDE WITHOUT LOGO Of course, few South Africans would need the impeccable research documented in this report to convince them that security has deteriorated and crime has escalated.

No matter what the official statistics may claim, many South Africans remember a time when most children walked or cycled to school on their own, when most homes were not surrounded by high walls, razor wire and spikes. When homes did not need burglar bars and security gates, alarm systems and armed response companies and when many roads did not need security booms. When vehicles did not need gear locks, steering locks, alarm systems and satellite tracking devices. When we did not carry such huge bunches of keys.

100,000 hard-core criminals released since 1994
Not considered in this report is the impact of the early release of well over 100 000 criminals including murderers and rapists from South African prisons.
The Crime Information Analyst Centre (CIAC) of the South African Police Services offers some socio-economic explanations for the horrific crime rates in South Africa such as:  “Urbanisation of the youth … extremely conducive to crime … the role of rapid, abnormally high rates of urbanisation (and urban unemployment) … when influx control was removed in 1986, it released a massive urbanisation process … a massive influx of especially young work seekers (economic refugees) to our cities from especially neighbouring countries, but also from as far afield as Nigeria, Morocco, Europe and China … at least 6 million undocumented immigrants live in especially our cities … massive unemployment, with no extended family (social support network) and subsistence economy to support their basic needs. In the cities the only support they may find is within their peer group. A very strong sense of relative depravation and resultant rising expectations may also develop. The difference between rich and poor in the city is very obvious and stark. … during the years of political struggle … many members of the former security forces and liberation armies were trained in guerilla warfare skills, like intelligence gathering, ambush techniques, the handing of firearms and explosives, etc. Many of these combatants are now out of work and many of these skills can be used to commit hijackings, house and business robberies, bank robberies and robberies of cash in transit...”

Disarming The Terrified Victims Of Crime
Yet with these massive increase in organised and very violent crime in South Africa, it becomes even more  incomprehensible that the government should be turning their attention towards disarming the potential victims of crime through more rigid firearms control laws -  rather than re-instating the death penalty as a deterrent for violent crime (or actively disarming the crime-gangs, getting rid of all those tens of thousands of brand-new AK47s circulating in SA)….It is an undeniable fact that criminals prefer unarmed, pliable, non-resisting, terrified victims.

“When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, the hearts of the people are filled with schemes to do wrong.” Ecclesiastes 8:11
