Frank Gaudin 73 tortured to death, Randfontein farm

http://bit.ly/lDmdU3

Canadian-born South African farmer Frank Gaudin 73, was tortured to death on his African Artifacts farm at Blaauwbank, Randfontein on June 4 2011. His second wife Sandra, 56, also was murdered inside their homestead on Dec 23 2008.

The international wholesaler in African curios was a keen environmentalist and also ran the Wild Animals and Bird Haven sanctuary. Nothing whatsoever seemed stolen: even his cars were still untouched, police confirmed.  Five months earlier, one of two Mozambiquan brothers who were charged with Sandra Gaudin’s murder was sentenced to life; however the brother escaped from custody and still remains at large.

Gaudin_Frank73_murdered_RandfonteinJune2011 Mr Gaudin, 73, was found tortured to death, hidden inside a deep hole on his farm. His body was identified by his son from his first marriage, Frank Gaudin jr, now a teacher working in Katanning, West Australia.

“The brutality of this deed was inhumane”, he told Beeld newspaper. His father had slash wounds and bruising to his upper body, across his face and head.

“I don’t have any language strong Gaudin Frank son of murdered SA farmer Frank Gaudin 73 RandfonteinJune2011enough to describe how brutal these injuries were.’  Frank junior, (picture by Beeld newspaper) said however he had left South Africa ‘not because of the crime, but a decision to change my life-style’.  He does not yet know what will happen to his father’s farm, the son said. Mr Gaudin leaves four sons from his two marriages. The funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. .

Nothing stolen from the farm -  but DA spokesman blames the gruesome murder on ‘defective security and criminality’…

Thomas Walters spokesman on agricultural matters for the Democratic Alliance,  issued a statement in which he apparently totally disregarded the fact that nothing was stolen from the Gaudin farm: instead  blaming the gruesome torture-murder of the Canadian-born farmer on ‘criminality”. He said there was “a discernable pattern of defective security in the rural areas,’ adding that ‘farmers and their workers statistically run much greater risks than any other South Africans of being targetted by violent criminals.”

SAPS capt Appel Ernst of Randfontein confirmed that Mr Gaudin's body was found at 5pm. Ín January this year, Judge Gerhard Hatting sentenced one of the two Mozambiquan brothers who killed Mrs Gaudin, Teleo Valente Matimbe (25) to a lifetime in prison at the Johannesburg High court. The brother remains missing. Revenge for the sentencing is not ruled out as a motive, according to well-informed sources .

Mr Gaudin's neighbours reported the farmer-businessman missing on Friday-morning at the Randfontein police station and that a massive man-hunt was launched for him which included the use of a helicopter. All his vehicles are still on the farm. Capt Appel said ‘even the dams were pumped empty to determine whether he may have drowned.”  The police would not provide the death cause until a forensic examination had confirmed it, said Capt Ernst.

His only son who still lives in South Africa, Paul Gaudin, 34 of Vanderbijlpark, said the entire family is horribly shocked and traumatised. 'Nobody deserves to die like that,' said the son. He said his father had started the business in the archeologically-very interesting area, African Artifacts Farms, in 1973. “He had built it from scratch and built up a successful enterprise. I will always remember my dad as a hard and direct man, a good businessman.'  The investigating officer is lt.col Gert Kruger, tel 0112788100 or 0824132635. The murderers are still at large.

Boer farmers at risk of Genocide on Ma7 2011 GenocideWatch list

At Risk of Genocide, Politicide, Mass Atrocities’ at hands of ‘Black-Racists’ (list, map links below)

GenocideWatch.org writes on this subject: "The threat of destruction of a group must not be ignored because its numbers are small or its members disfavoured...' The majority of ethno-European farmers are Boers. In world context, this may seem to be a small number of people.... however the smaller the minority, the more severe the bias against recognitioin of threats to the survival of minorities'...

"It may indeed be possible to exterminate a specific group over an extended period of time while the absolute number killed each year decreases, paradoxically creating a false impression of a diminishing annihilation - decreasing in annual numbers but resulting in undetected genocide'.GenocideWatch2011_BoersRefugeesAtRiskOfGenocideByBlackRacists

Proportional murder rate of Boer farmers: ‘reason for alarm’:

Genocide Watch writes: “The agricultural department of a bank in South Africa has calculated the per capita murder rate of ethno-European farmers to be four (4) times greater than the average murder rate for the population of South Africa (in 2002). Thus comparative trend analysis of murder rates for specific ethnic groups is troubling. If the per capita murder rate of the population as a whole has decreased over recent years as the South African government claims but at the same time the per capita murder rate of a specific group (in this case Boer farmers)  has increased, it is reason for alarm'...

Dutch welfare group stops funding SA charity

Dutch welfare agency stops donating to South African charity Khulani Simunye

More than 14-million black South Africans get billions of Rands worth of free food-aid, massive benefits, and free housing from the government each year: so why do black South Africans also still demand charity from abroad?
The foreign funding and all the work of the SA charity Khulani Simunye  went on the rails after its previous director, Gunter Gys of Belgium, falsely accused in a South African court, was acquitted of all the charges and proved that there had been a conspiracy against him. He has since then returned to Belgium to write a book about the 'dysfunctional South African government departments he has had to deal with... but first he wrote a book about the effects of Zulu culture...'
And things went even more downhill from there for the SA charity: the next welfare worker who was dispatched as a liaison between the South African charity and the Dutch donors, didn't do much better either - but not for a lack of trying. Due to - it was claimed - 'the great cultural differences which were encountered.'  Gunter Gys'  replacement, a young woman named Lilian, "did her very best for six months  but her life was not easy due to cultural differences'. She returned to Spain, with the charity noting on its website:  "We thus have to suspend the activities for  Khulani Simunye in South Africa because a suitable local replacement also could not be found.  http://khulani-simunye.blogspot.com/2010/06/tijdelijke-stop-activiteiten.html

Belgian welfare-agency director Gunter Gys, 41,  was left without any income for a year in SA with his adopted son - awaiting his trumped-up sex-charge trial for which he was acquitted

imageFlashback to May 6, 2010 - PINETOWN KZN - Belgian welfare-worker Gunter Gys, 41, who was today found not guilty of a trumped-up sex-charge lodged by a nine-year-old boy and his mother in a jealousy-inspired conspiracy, said that ‘jealousy and revenge were behind this entire sex-crime accusation”.  He also can’t wait to get out of South Africa after his long ordeal while awaiting trial, he told Censorbugbear-Reports today and hopes to leave this month with his adopted son.

Dysfunctional government agencies:
While awaiting his trial, he wrote  a book about the dysfunctional government agencies he’s had dealings with as a welfare-agency worker in South Africa over the past four years. He has since returned to Belgium, he said after his acquittal at the Pinetown (Sexual Offences) Court on May 6 2010 by magistrate Bilkish Asmal

Magistrate: ‘Gys’ defence of a conspiracy against him was confirmed by two witnesses…’
His case was postponed endlessly – 17 times within a year. Gys was arrested in February 2009 and released on bail the very next day. His welfare was closely monitored by the Belgian government and he always very consistently denied all guilt. And on May 6, 2010, he felt completely vindicated after hearing his not-guilty verdict from magistrate Bilkish Asmal, he told me at the time..

Supported by UK group which helps those false accused of sexual offences…

Throughout his ordeal, he was supported by a group in the UK which helps and advise those who are falsely accused of sexual offences. http://www.pafaa.org.uk Their administrator commented today that ‘all the members who have "talked" with him on the online site have always been impressed with his courage throughout, especially the support his son has given him. “We are all proud to have "know" him and I look forward to the time when he and his son will visit us here in England. This is the best possible outcome for Gunter (and his family) and I sincerely hope that he is successful in applying for and obtaining proper and adequate financial recompense for the horror he has gone through, not to mention the fact that he has had to live on the goodwill of his friends and family. Well done Gunter, and well done your immensely brave son who has stood by him. Now is the time to heal my friend!” the UK charity wrote afterwards: http://www.pafaa.org.uk

Inconsistencies in the testimony of the boy and his mother…
GysGunterAcquittalTheMercuryMay72010 STORY (2) The Mercury reported that the charges related to incidents that the boy claimed in testimony before the court had taken place at Gys's home in December 2008. The boy, who cannot be named, had been staying with Gys because his mother was ill. Gys became acquainted with the family while he was working at a charity organisation in the area. However Magistrate Asmal ruled that “there were various inconsistencies in the testimony of the boy and his mother which had been pointed out by the defence.” She also added that Gys had “maintained his denial of the allegations against him and claimed that the boy's mother had fabricated the allegations because she wanted to destroy him.http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=15&art_id=nw20100506160846221C572412

He told me shortly after his trial last year that he felt as if a heavy load has been lifted from him. All that time he had been surviving on loans from his family throughout the duration of the trial.

Writing a book highlighting fraud, mismanagement in SA government agencies…

06mei2010_DailyNews (2)There is not one government agency which functions properly in South Africa

While he never believed this himself, there could also have been a ‘political motive” surrounding this case. If he had been found guilty, the Belgian youth-worker would also have been greatly discredited regarding the expose he was writing about his experiences with all the government agencies in South Africa -- he became very disillusioned after his freqeuent dealings with all the government agencies over the past four years:

“There is not one (government) agency which functions properly,” he wrote us a year ago: “You actually cannot imagine the way this government runs the country. South Africa is registered as a joke on the world-map. Not one service works any more: Home Affairs,  SAPS , Social Development, Housing, Transport -  Financial departments,  not one functions properly”.

“mother’s revenge for ‘cutting back on her financial assistance’
Gys said the boy’s mother “had lodged the false charge against me because she was angry after my welfare agency Khulani Simunye had cut back on the financial assistance she had received”. “The woman had told her neighbours she would "destroy" me and my organisation,” Gys testified in court. “The woman had become jealous when our organisation began helping out her neighbours,” he said.

Trial was a long-drawn out ordeal: yet all he ever wanted was to help poor black South Africans…

Mr Gys told Censorbugbear-Reports on May 6 2010 that the trial has been a terrible ordeal for him and that he and the South African orphan he has adopted as his son,  with the two of them having been stranded without any income and surviving on loans and gifts from family and friends. “ Yet the only thing I have ever wanted to do, was to try and help poor black South Africans,” he said. That’s why he had gone to the country four years earlier to start working at the private charity. He had been in the country since 2006, initially working for Dutch welfare organisation, before starting one of his own. Gys said he had met the family which accuses him in 2007.At the time, the boy's mother was very sick and he immediately began helping the family, he said, initially at his own cost, and later with the assistance of a welfare group. Towards the end of 2008, he and the boy's mother were however involved in several disputes and he stopped giving the woman money for her children's school transport, he said.
