Whites attacked 2x as much as black foreigners

Twice as many whites are attacked daily in senseless black-racist violence than are foreign Africans in South Africa. http://bit.ly/kBNiq4
Maps of senseless racist violence – deadly and non-lethal – against whites and black foreigners in South Africa: in the countryside and in the cities: Jan 1 2010 - May 31 2011. More than 98% of all the attackers were black males.
Summary: There was an inexplicable sudden peak of violent militia-style attacks against whites (eleven) and agaisnt foreign blacks (four) alike on June 27 2010, right at the end of the World Cup football tournament 2010. This coincides with the massive amount of hatespeech targetting whites and black foreigners on South African social networks during the WC2010: link and link and link and link .
After June 2010 the physical attacks against whites averaged FIVE attacks a day (map 1, left), against black foreigners THREE attacks a day. (map 2, right) There are less than 4-million whites (‘Boers”) and 10million foreign black Africans according to UNHCR. The attacks against the Boers clearly is way out of proportion to their very small numbers.
Farmitracker.com also posts senseless-violence attacks against blacks by blacks from other African tribal areas (‘xenophobic attacks’). However one xenophobic murder of a Malawian man was logged in Broederstroom on Sunday 12 June 2011 and for which three white Afrikaner men were arrested or being sought. All the other xenophobic attacks were carried out by black South African men against foreign Africans. In Gauteng province the violence against both threatened groups was the worst, with a total of 584 attacks against whites and 92 ‘xenophobic black-on-black’ attacks. The second-highest number of attacks were in the Western Cape; 86 against whites and 29 against foreign blacks. KwaZulu-Natal was the only exception: there were more attacks against black foreign Africans: 54; and 21 against whites. The maps show the totals for each province.

Dr Koos van Staden murdered Jan 22 2010: Kenneth Makwesa, 43 denies all guilt
Judgment expected today - 15 June 2011 - Kempton Park. Judgement is expected to be delivered today in the murder trial of Mr Kenneth Makwesa (43), who allegedly killed Dr Koos van Staden in his Edleen home last year.During yesterday's proceedings in die High Court in Johannesburg Makwesa could not explain why his blood was found on a rose bush in Van Staden's garden. He said he knew nothing about the incident on January 22, 2010.

The state argued that tests were done on blood samples taken from the plant. It corresponded with a blood sample taken from Makwesa in hospital. This placed him on the scene of the murder. Makwesa argued in court that he ‘was on his way to a friend in Edleen that evening when two men attacked him, demanding his phone. When he refused, they shot him in the leg’.The state submitted that instead, he was wounded at the Van Stadens' home during a scuffle with Dr Van Staden. The state prosecutor, Adv Jabulani Mlotshwa, asked Makwesa how it happened that the murder weapon was found a mere 5m from where a security guard had found him (Makwesa) in the street. A bloodstained glove was also found next to the weapon, while the other was next to Makwesa. Mrs Hannah van Staden, widow of Dr Van Staden, earlier testified they were watching TV that evening when their dogs started barking. She said she heard her husband talk to someone at the back door. When she went to investigate, she saw him lying on the floor at the door. She positively identified that it was Makwesa who was pinned underneath her husband with a weapon in his hand. She testified that she heard several shots. When she looked up again, the attacker was gone. W/O Masilo Mokoasha, who attended to the scene, told the court the accused was found in the street a couple of houses from the Van Stadens' home. A security guard found him lying on the ground with a bullet wound in his upper right leg.

Two lurking men caught at pre-school by gutsy teachers
June 15 2011 - Two brave pre-school teachers , Sonja Small, 42 and Marita van Tonder, 52, single-handedly caught two men lurking around at their school this morning, only to be let down by a security company officer who allowed the one to escape.

After catching the second man, Mrs Marita van Tonder (52) and Mrs Sonja Small (42) of Blinkogies (Bright-Eyes) Pre-school returned to the officer just to find their first "catch" had gone missing. The two women were driving along Nonna Street in Birchleigh towards Blinkogies when they noticed two suspicous looking men walking up the street. They entered the school premises and as Small opened the school's door, she spotted the two men approaching Van Tonder from behind. The men jumped over the wall into the premises and Small pressed the panic button. Although the alarm went off, the men only ran away when Small shouted for help. Neighbours heard her scream and also pressed their panic button. Not deterred, the two ‘superwomen’ got into their car and chased the men. While driving, the security company responded and called Van Tonder. About 20 minutes later the company's officer found the two teachers in hot pursuit. When the fleeing men spotted the approaching security vehicle coming from the other side of the road, they stopped. The teachers then caught the one. "The officer did not cuff the man and told us to watch him while he drove to the other man who was walking up the road. He wanted us, the victims, to watch the suspect," an upset Mrs Van Tonder said afterwards. Instead, the women got into their car again and forced the other man into their bakkie and brought him back to the officer's car."When we returned with the second suspect, the first one was gone," Van Tonder said.The second suspect was taken to Norkem Park SAPS by the security officer. looklocal is trying to get comment from the security company involved.
Three men plunge down open aurora mineshafts

I apologise for being so tardy with this news, but I had to go to TWO different Solidarity websites to obtain the story from one page, and the pictures from the other – which turned out to be impossible as they were gigantic website-pages and I could not get .jpeg pictures from them. Eventually I gave up all these efforts and just did a page-view of their newsletter mailed to members. Sorry about the exceedingly poor quality – but that’s the best I could manage.
SPRINGS. The police spent several hours to retrieve the body of 30-year-old Mr Hlelali Solimzima of Springs, who plunged 400m to his death down the wide-open Ndlovu-mineshaft of the Grootvlei mine, belonging to the black-economic-empowerment company Aurora.
Solidarity saids Mr Solimzima’s death is directly caused by Aurora’s stripping down of all the company’s assets and selling them for old scrap. Aurora left the mineshaft wideopen without any security measures in place. The Grootvlei mine has been ‘broken down right to the ground so now there is only an open hole, unprotected.’ Gideon du Plessis of Solidarity said it is suspected that the man tried to climb down the shaft to hack gold-ore from the rockface below. Two other people also died in the same way at the Daggafontein-shaft, where Aurora’s looters have also stripped everything. Those two men plunged 800 metres to their deaths and remain below: ‘the logistic challenges of retrieving their bodies prevented a search-operation from being conducted,’ he said.
“Mr Solimzima died a horrific death. On his plunge downwars, all his clothes were torn off as he hit the crossbeams and not one bone in his body remained unbroken,’ said Du Plessis. “And the saddest part of all is that the directors of Aurora who are responsible for the stripping down of the mine’s assets, will probably never be held responsible for his death. These men remain ‘untouchable’, he said. “While illegal mining can never be condoned, nobody deserves to die such a horrific death. The Department of Mineral Resources must also be held responsible for the tragedy. The trade union warned the department and its parliamentary portfolio committee on 13 April 2011 and sent photographs of the dangerous, wide-open mineshafts, warning that these posed an extreme danger to the residents. Aurora had by that time also transgerred various occupational health- and safety laws and their mining license should have been immediately withdrawn at that point.
