The Killing Fields of South Africa
Afrikaner smallholdings are the killing fields of South Africa: http://bit.ly/q1pIcr – and tens of thousands of poor working-class Afrikaners suffer horrific, cruel torture-attacks at their subsistence-smallholdings countrywide - PHOTOS
Two five-star Lowveld hotels near Kruger Park close their doors because of criminal gang-attacks; imagine being a resident living there permanently… also: another unnamed smallholder, murdered at Kameeldrift, Pretoria
2011-07-21 A heavily armed gang of black men, possibly five, murdered yet another Afrikaner man at the besieged smallholdings of Kameeldrift yesterday. And since they 'robbed' the 66-year-old Bynespoort man’s cellphone to prevent him from raising the alarm, the ANC-ruled local news media was quick to write it off as just another robbery. link
There are no ‘ordinary robberies however : the execution-style murder of this working-class Afrikaner forms part of a very clear genocidal pattern: a decade-long terror campaign to chase the poorest whites in the country off their subsistence smallholdings and force these defenceless families into permanent homelessness and chronic starvation. Many hundreds of thousands of poor Afrikaners have already been chased from their homes since 1994 and are now wandering around the countryside, drifting from little mission-stations and fighting desperately to survive with their families – in the land their forefathers had turned into Africa’s only first-world state…
Two top rural Lowveld hotels near Kruger Park close -- because of black criminal gangs
2011-07-21 source: Buks Viljoen of Beeld: Two of the best-known high-class hotels in the Transvaal Lowveld near the Kruger Park are closing their doors - because of armed criminal gangs terrorising the tourists. Despite numerous pleas to local police over the past few months, the guests' and workers’ security can no longer be guaranteed.
The directors of the Forever Resorts group announced that the Blue Mountain Lodge near Hazyview close its doors at the end of August. And its Tulani Safari Lodge near Phalaborwa will also close. "We are in the business of providing fun and pleasure - not to provide security for crime-besieged guests,' said Christo Wagenaar, marketing director.
- SA Lowveld too dangerous for tourists warn top hotel owners
- Tourism in the Lowveld -- one of the world's most popular tourism-destinations because of the Kruger transnational wildlife reserve - is under horrific pressure, with once popular tourist-destinations sich as Pelgrim’s Rest, God’s Window, Graskop and Sabie suffering a huge drop in visitors this year.
“ We can no longer allow our guests and personnel to be held hostage to criminal gangs," said Wagenaar. The Blue Mountain Lodge was targetted by numerous armed attackers by large black gangs. Only three weeks ago a businessman and his family were attacked and tied up. There's also a very worrying deterioration of the quality of sites such as Pelgrim's Rest, God's Window, Graskop and Sabie. “Roads are in horrific condition, the buildings and public conveniences are dismal. This all contributes to the very drastic drop tourist numbers in the Lowveld. Crime and armed attacks such as are being experienced at the Blue Mountain Lodge do great harm to our international image,’ he said.
The Blue Mountain lodge is located ‘located in an high-potential agricultural area and if the offer is right we will sell'. The 20 personnel-members will be offered the choice of working elsewhere in the chain or accept a departure-package. Pieter Kruger of Hi-Tech security - which was in charge of the Blue Mountain Lodge security – confirmed that the entire Lowveld region is becoming dangerous for tourists. “They are increasingly targetted by criminal gangs.” Meanwhie, SAPS spokesman lt-col Leonard Hlathi denies these claims, although he hadn’t investigated the crime in the region, he claimed there were ‘only two incidents at the resort'. He will now Ãnvestigate’m, he added.. link
Kameeldrift – populated by low-income, working-class Afrikaners – is often targetted for the most horrendously cruel torture-crimes by armed black-male gangs. The ANC-ruled newsmedia invariably describes these torture-attacks as ‘ordinary robberies’….
You won’t get any South African journalists to describe the terrorism which has washed over Kameeldrift. They stick to the ANC-propaganda accusation that it’s all just ‘ordinary crime’ and that white smallholders should be ‘more careful’ and ‘help the police fight crime.’ However on 8 May 2010, a Norwegian news-team travelled all the way to Kameeldrift – just to film and interview the genocidal attacks which target the working-class residents of this low-income Afrikaans smallholding region - and discovered that this was one of the most-targetted areas in the country by black killer-gangs, and that many hundreds of Afrikaners have been attacked, raped, often tortured for hours and left sexually-mutilated and murdered there since 1994 – Norwegian journalist Torgeir P Krokfjord of the 1-m daily readership Dagbladet, travelled all the way from his peaceful Scandinavian country to interview South African smallholder and sign-writer Jason Meyer, (picture).Meyer:
“Me and my wife were sleeping. We woke up with five black men standing in our bedroom. They tied us up. I got a pillow pressed against my face, a gun muzzle against my forehead," said Arno to the paper, showing the tie marks on his hands. Thankfully the couple's four children were asleep, and they do not know what really happened that night. -“ And we can thank God for that. Had they woken up, I do not know if we would have been alive today. he children do not know that dad and mom are considering escape. To Australia perhaps, where they can dare to leave a small bike in the street and walk alone to school.” This is just one of the many tales of terror residents will tell you at Kameeldrift. They are waging a 24/7 battle for survival against the many attacks by totally ruthless, black killer-gangs. The Afrikaner/Boer smallholders spend most of their free time, their resources and energy just on protecting their families each day and night..”

Smallholders who defend themselves get arrested for murder:
Yet despite the ANC ‘gangster-State' ‘s cynical exhortations for smallholders to ‘help police fight crime’; when smallholders shoot armed attackers in self-defence, it’s the crime-victims who are arrested and charged with criminal assault, attempted murder and murder... This happens frequently: for instance on September 20, 2010, two Afrikaner men on a Kameeldrift/Uitzicht smallholding which had been attacked, were arrested for defending their families. They were moreover, denied bail and told they would be charged with 'murder' . We fear for our lives. Last night another three men were on our erf,’ said a fearful, weeping Mrs Eliza Olivier (right) at the Pretoria magistrate’s court after hearing that her family would be left alone to fend for themselves - after her husband Fredrick Chrisjan Olivier, 46, was denied bail together with his brother Koos Petrus Olivier, 43. One of the men had fired a shot in self-defence through their window and killed a Zimbabwean man who was trying to break in, and then left the body on the side of the road. Their attorney J D Nel said the families would be left undefended in one of the highest crime region in the country. However black magistrate Bheki Ntshingila wouldn’t hear of bail: instead he postponed the case to the following week so that the state ‘could get more statements from another Zimbabwean man who has since gone missing’. The lawyer said this man, part of an armed attack-gang, would be ‘impossible to trace’. Even so, the two Afrikaner brothers were forced to spend four days in a police-jail while their families were left undefended... http://www.beeld.com/Suid-Africa/nuus/ons-lewe-in-vrees.20100923. After all that, the case then was simply dropped.
Robert Botha was killed execution-style on May 11 2010. And eighty-year-old Afrikaner pensioner Jan du Toit (left) was rushed to hospital after the frail, unarmed old man was attacked on his Kameeldrift smallholding by two black men who pulled a blanket over the old man's head while he was in bed -- and then shot him in the stomach…. It’s not known if he survived. Many such incidents are never even followed up by the SA news media any more: there are just too many.
Suna Steenberg, 43, Kameelfontein businesswoman, dies Oct 11 2010 from April 16 2010 shooting 43-year old Suna Steenberg, right, who ran the Montana Poles and Lapas company, died on Oct 11 2010 after she had been in a coma from a shooting since April 16.
On 9 March 2011, the SA artist Cornelius Bosch, 55 – missing since 24 February from his Kameeldrift smallholding -- was found torched to death. Dental records confirmed his identity, wrote Hilda Fourie of Beeld. http://bit.ly/p1Hhnk
On 6 January 2011, to teachers at the 'Via Nova school for Disabled Children' at Kameeldrift, Karen, 45, and Johan Joubert, 52, were brutally and repeatedly assaulted by three armed black men on their Derdepoort smallholding right next to high-crime Kameeldrift. http://bit.ly/p6zXLL
On 27 Dec 2010, 58-year-old pensioner Willie van Zyl lay bleeding for six hours after he was shot in the face during an armed attack by four black males on his smallholdings near the Baviaanspoort prison in the Kameeldrift region of Pretoria. His nephew Johan Pretorius, 47, who lives nearby, said Van Zyl was shot while he was asleep at 1:30am in his bedroom... http://bit.ly/qQXGis
On Oct 26 2008, Kameeldrift father of two Marius acdonald, 42, was shot by a coldblooded gunman during an attack on his smallholding and simply left behind to bleed to death. http://bit.ly/oe3wMS
It is genocidal warfare out here ... Pretoria Afrikaners in ethnic-cleasing siege
22 Nov 2008 Elmore de Reuck, 31 was attacked on the Kameeldrift smallholdings near Pretoria, which have been in a decades-long siege from armed criminal gangs…
'Afrikaner farmers, smallholders face genocide' - 2 Nov 2008 – Some 2,000 Afrikaner smallholders of Kameeldrift and Cullinan held a peaceful protest march to the local police stations north of Pretoria, warning that they were being targetted by gangs intent on genocide'.
Theunis Pelserm, truckdriver, killed, Kameelsdrift AH 08 May 2010 - Hilda Fourie of Beeld newspaper reports that the gang crime-afflicted smallholdings of Leeuwfontein/Kameeldrift north-east of Pretoria have claimed its third gun crime-victim within a month.
Rrural murders of whites in SA: sources; links - 08 May 2011 – Six Afrikaner police officers who live at the Kameeldrift smallholdings used their own money, their own cars, their own off-duty time and their own phones to hunt down and arrest the killers of ex-cop Marius van Greunen, 38: "Seven times. Why did they shoot him seven times?’

South Africa: a gangster state
‘ SA’s Protection of Information Bill and its proposed Media Tribunal make KGB looks amateurish ‘
South Africa is fast becoming a gangster state, noted Rhoda Kadalie – the former Human Rights Commissioner with Helen Suzman -- in ‘Die Burger’ Afrikaans daily.
Guns put to the heads of journalists investigating high level crime:
She warns that ‘the Big Three are creepy – ( actualy there are four Zulu men running Zuma’s ‘security cluster’ namely Justice Minister Jeff Radebe, Bheki Cele, Nathi Mtetwa and Siyabonga Cwele ) …. ‘ they have followed faithfully in the steps of their predecessor, Jackie Selebi: “When guns are put to the heads of journalists who investigate high level crime; and when surveillance follows them wherever they go, then the nation needs to sit up and listen.”
Close-knit group of Zulu men run Zuma’s security-cluster:
Bheki Cele's appointment as new police chief on JUly 28 2011 created a close-knit tribal-group: four Zulu men leading South Africa's entire ‘security cluster”: From left to right below: Bheki Cele as SAPF chief, Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa, Intelligence Minister Dr Siyabonga Cwele and Justice Minister Jeff Radebe.
Kadalie continues: (And) ‘if you are white and courageous as (is) Special Investigator Willie Hofmeyer, exposing corruption in the public and private spheres, you are bound to become Enemy No One. As for Public Protector Mrs Thuli Madonsela - an insider and a black woman - she refuses to ‘know her place’ so she must be capped at the knees. Killing the messenger that brings the good news is what our ‘criminal justice cluster’ does best - KGB-style,’ she notes.
Kadalie warns that the ANC-regime’s ‘current onslaught against the Public Protector and the Special Investigations Unit is a continuation of the country's rapid slide into its ‘ZANU-fiation’. (ZANU is the Shona-tribe’s political structure under Robert Mugabe which destroyed Zimbabwe.)
She continues: ‘add to this the Protection of Information Bill and the proposal for a Media Tribunal then the KGB looks amateurish in comparison. Now is the time for eternal vigilance and this column is a call to the public to do its utmost to support Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, and Special Investigator, Willie Hofmeyer.
“With political pedigrees such as theirs, they are eminently qualified for their jobs. They have performed their duties without fear or favour and have remained uncontaminated by power and the glitz and glamour of public life. Madonsela is a highly trained human- and constitutional-rights lawyer with a CV that belies her experience.
“Prior to 1994, Madonsela carved a niche for herself as a young lawyer who shone a lamp with her feminist research on making a case for women's legal and human rights, the rights of victims, equality legislation and much more. Similarly, Hofmeyer has always been impeccably honest and ‘clean', a loyal citizen, carrying out his investigations with dedicated rigour.
“It’s typically what gangster-States do”, she warns:
‘Casting aspersions on the integrity of both Madonsela and Hofmeyer before the release of Mrs Madonsela’s report investigating the irregular R500million-tender between Bheki Cele's office and Roux Shabangu concerning the tenders for the Police headquarters...is typical what gangster-States do…’:
- “Intimidating and threatening our constitution's guardians, the (ANC-regime) does exactly what Vladimir Putin's gangsters did to Anna Politkovskaya, the Russian journalist and human rights activist, who tracked the conflict in Chechnya and Putin's role in fuelling it. Politkovskaya met her fate on 7 October 2006, in the lift of her block of flats, where she was mercilessly gunned down after enduring years of death threats and constant surveillance.”
“The Human Rights Commission, at last, has ruled in favour of Chumane Maxwele - the jogger who showed the finger at pres Jacob Zuma’s cavalcade… “The Minister of Police's refusal to cooperate in this investigation is an indication of the contempt this office has for the rule of law. The same goes for the police's treatment of Sunday Times reporter, Mzilikazi W'Afrika. Hounded like a common criminal for doing what he is paid to do, he now needs security guards to allow him to live as freely as any other citizen.”
- (COMMENT: Kadalie suffers from pro-black tunnel vision and thus only notices the human-rights violations against blacks, however whites also are being abused in an identical manner. We publish some details below this article…)
‘ Under Zuma reign, lawlessness, corruption, ‘entitlement’ to State resources have become a way of life…’
Kadalie continues: “I would like to believe that President Zuma, unlike Putin, does not approve of these tactics, but increasingly under his reign, lawlessness, corruption, and entitlement to the state's resources have become a way of life. The recent report on Executive salaries and the bonuses our useless cadre-deployed officials vote for themselves, paints a picture of a vampire state that takes our hard-earned taxes with ruthless abandon, giving nothing in return.”
- “When I was a Human Rights Commissioner with Helen Suzman, she repeatedly prophesied that the day will come when the ANC will regret ever having drafted our wonderful Constitution. Her bugbear - that the Chapter 9 institutions and the socio-economic rights clause will require the utmost integrity from the ANC, when she knew implicitly that they lacked the political will to do so -- has regrettably been proven right.”
She concludes: “If President Zuma wants to win our favour, then he should act swiftly and excise, with ruthless precision, the gangrene of wanton lawlessness that is infecting SA's body politic, and reverse the slide into authoritarianism for which Africa has become renown. “ This article first appeared in Die Burger. email: rhoda@impumelelo.org.za tel: (021) 461-3783
Zuma VIP-police guards: vendetta against one lone white racecourse owner…
http://bit.ly/f0HNVo - The full might of the State is being thrown into a court-case against one lone Durban citizen who -- a bit in his cups at the annual DurbanJuly horserace a year ago – accidentially sloshed his whisky from the public gallery above: just as Jacob Zuma was passing down below – an accident which Zuma’s VIP-guards immediately claimed was an attack against the South African president by the white man …even though not a drop had struck Zuma's expensive suit.
The case proceeds – seemingly endlessly -- in Durban after countless postponements. This apparent vendetta is being waged against Durban racecourse-owner Daryl Peense - charged with ‘assaulting’ the president ofSouth Africa. Peense admitted that he’d accidentially spilled whisky on the president at a July racetrack meeting in 2010, however he’d been drunk, Mr Zuma did not get wet - and the president had also never lodged any complaints himself.
- Daryl Peense writes on his face book page: “ Last year (2010) at the Durban July, I accidentally spilled whiskey and water onto Jacob Zuma's head. None of it actually touched him but for this accident I am in court on 6 July 2011 with the charge of "assault of the president". Please invite your friends to this page and help increase awareness of this bizarre action. Thank you for your support, it means a lot to me. Regards, Daryl Peense. darylracing@yahoo.com Phone +27 71 777 3333 http://www.betting2win.co.za
March 22 2011 Peense court appearance: Photographer Rogan Ward assaulted by Zuma police-guards: forced him to erace pictures, cursed him for ‘a racist’…
The bodyguards are being put on record as the worst kind of bullies: at one of the endless Peense court-postponements, they assaulted press photographer Rogan Ward right after one former guard from their unit had testified against Peense on March 22 2011; Ward’s sunglasses were damaged, he was manhandled, they forced him to erace his pictures, and they cursed Ward as a ‘racist’. BBC Meanwhile the harassment is costing Peense his livelihood – and he’s worried about his 6-year old son’s future.
At the last court appearance, an appeal was lodged to have the case dismissed. Meanwhile Peense is facing tens of thousands of Rands in legal costs which he cannot afford. And that appears to be the aim of this frivolous lawsuit: to bankrupt him and ruin his family.
‘It was an accident… never intended to injure the president…’
Peense, 31, told the court on March 22 2011 that while he admitted spilling his whisky, it was an accident, he admitted that he was drunk on this festive day - and Mr Zuma did moreover, not even get wet.
He wasn’t charged for being drunk in public. He was charged with a deliberate assault on the president of South Africa with the contents from his glass filled with Johnny Walker whisky, water and ice-cubes.
One of Zuma’s presidential bodyguard at that time, Funani Edgar Nemaenzhe, testified that he believed it was ‘deliberate”: ‘he saw Peense pour a drink from the balcony on to the president's entourage.” He claimed that “another guard had used his jacket to protect the president… ” Nemaenzhe also confirmed Peense’s own defence, namely that he’d been drunk : Peense ‘had smelled of alcohol and could not walk straight when arrested.” Peense is however not contesting the fact that he was drunk: he wasn’t charged with being drunk. The defendant's lawyer pointed out that the president had not even lodged a complaint, and that the accused “didn't intend to cause injury to the president nor to impair his bodily integrity in any way," said Advocate Jimmy Howse. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12817517
VIP-cops act like bullies: force photographer to delete their picture, cursed him as a ‘racist’…
Right after testifying at the Durban Magistrate’s Court, two of Zuma’s bodyguards then allegedly assaulted freelance-photographer Rogan Ward outside the courtroom, grabbing his camera and cursing him for a ‘racist.’
- Journalist Yusuf Moolla noted the reactions of human-rights groups who ‘reacted with outrage’ after the incident because similar incidents have happened before. Ward’s camera was taken away from him because he’d photographed the ‘vip-protection unit officers’. He was forced to erace the pictures.
Increase in attacks, frivolous arrests of journalists by police:
Concerned at the attack, SA National Editors’ Forum (Sanef) chairman Mondli Makhanya said the forum ‘had noted an increase in the number of attacks on journalists on duty by police: “We have written to the police and sought a meeting.” He said the forum regarded the behaviour of the VIP officers as unruly and thuggish. “When journalists and photographers are doing their jobs, we do not expect them to be harassed.”
VIP-police unit is not above the law:
He said the unit was not above the law and had to abide by the standing rules on how police should treat journalists. “We condemn their actions in the strongest terms.”
Media analyst and former Freedom of Expression Institute director Ayesha Kajee said that “if Ward had not done anything illegal in taking the pictures, then the attack was a violation of his rights and a violation of the public’s right to know the truth.”
- Kajee said she wanted to see the authorities uphold the rights of the media and of freedom of expression. “I would like to see our courts and the justice system very carefully weigh the balance of freedom of the press on the one hand, and the right to privacy and dignity on the other,” she said.
Pretoria News photographer Masi Losi, Jos Charle threatened with arrest by cops:
, chief photographer of The Mercury’s sister paper the Pretoria News, was also assaulted by police officers on February 4. Losi and executive editor Jos Charle were threatened with arrest after Losi had photographed Pretoria Central police officers arresting a suspected thief - which they had rescued from an enraged mob. - The Mercury http://www.thestar.co.za/vip-cops-pounce-on-journalist-1.1045750?ot=inmsa.ArticlePrintPageLayout.ot http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-12817517
