Six afrikaners innocently arrested for killing black youth, demonised and even illegally identified by name by news-media – and which then totally ignore the fact that the magistrate withdrew the murder charges because ‘there is nothing against the accused…’
“Dog bites man’ is not news.. but ‘Man Bites Dog’ is. It also applies to spotting bullshit in the news. Stabbing someone to death is just not a white thing in South Africa. It is a black or coloured move. It is what they do, not we. Now if you hear of a white man who shot someone to death, then you can believe it, because that is what whites do…but stabbing? Nahhh. Who are they trying to fool here? 
That is what I thought when I read a few weeks ago about five white men and a woman arrested in Boksburg after a 15 year old black boy was stabbed to death in an open field between a black township called Primrose and the white suburb of Boksburg.
Two boys, one 15 the other 18 walked through the field and the 15 yo was beaten up and stabbed to death…apparently by ‘whites wearing balaclavas’. Apparently the black mother of Sibusiso Titimani was alerted by a boy who told her. ‘mama ka Sibusiso! uyashaywa uSibusiso ngamabhunu’ [Sibusiso is being beaten up by the boers],”
Innocent white family living nearby got their doors kicked down at 3am and arrested…
Nearby, an innocent white family lived, so the police kicked their doors down at 03h00 in the morning and arrested them. The media splashed it out that 16 guns and 15 swords were found together with camouflage clothing and wait for it…the obligatory “Nazi-badge” that was obviously thrown in by the police. Apparently, presumably and allegedly, according to the media, they carried out the killing of the 15 year old black boy in revenge to the killing of rightwing leader Eugene Terreblanche.

Even these innocent people’s names were splashed all over the newspapers before they had even been asked to plead to any charges whatsoever: . “Susanna Harmse, 50, was arrested on Friday with Wesley Courtney, 27, Christopher Duvenage, 25, Daniel Harmse, 19, Abraham Harmse, 50, and Christopher Harmse.”

All Afrikaners then... All Rightwing fanatics and murderers…right? Now at this stage anybody who grew up in South Africa would know exactly what happened here.
The 18 year old friend of Sibusiso beat him up and stabbed him to death in the field and then blamed it on the “white peoples”…but proclaiming the obvious truth would be akin to sacrilege, for these noble savages are little angels who can do no wrong and the whites are the evil devils, yadda yadda bullshit!
The sensationalist black newspaper Sowetan and its 3rd rate reporters such as Mogomotsi Selebi obviously tried to climb on the mudslinging band wagon and rubbed it in…”Heavy caliber guns, ammunition and rightwing emblems…” were found. Sowetan sensationalist bollocks
Mass media did their best to turn this into a ‘racial hate crime”
The MSM tried their best to turn this into a racial hate crime and blacks demonstrated against the whites outside the court.
Well it subsequently turned out that the police ended up with egg on their mugs seeing that the “Heavy caliber guns” were mere pellet guns and the rest of the weapons and ammunition were all legal and registered. Further…all charges were withdrawn because the state found “no connection whatsoever” between these people and the murdered boy. The accused had solid alibis and none of them could be pointed out in an identity parade.
The judge said… “Somebody is going to have mud on their face,” said Snyman. “We heard that many firearms were found in your possession, but they were pellet guns. “People get so upset, they come outside court toyi-toying, (but in the) meantime these people have not even been pointed out… It’s always much better if you hear all the evidence. There is nothing against the accused as it stands.”

The family’s lawyer, Boela van der Merwe, said the wrong message had been sent about his clients to the community of Primrose.
“The whole matter was not properly investigated. As the magistrate said, there will be mud on someone’s face. “People jumped to the wrong conclusions.”
But you see…this is how propaganda works. Because the articles that were originally posted, were on the front pages all over the world. But then when the people were acquitted, the internationalist media never mentioned it. They have slung the mud and some stuck…they are not going to wash it off now. They achieved exactly what they want ed to. The vilification and blackening of the White South African, especially the Afrikaners.

As a now retired journalist with long experience in SA reporting - but still monitoring the situation there - there are some things your journalist in South Africa Aislinn Laing should know: I note she has not been in South Africa long enough (perhaps 2 years?) to perhaps understand that she is putting six innocent white people's lives in great danger of revenge-attacks by a black community living very nearby them -- because she inaccurately reported details about them in her story on June 4 2012.
She also failed to verify with the attorney of the accused people whether any of these details she wrote about were even accurate.
She turned it into a 'racial hate-crime' - when in fact the case against the six people who were arrested, was withdrawn: the facts in court revealed an entirely different story.
The attorney could easily have been reached through an ordinary google search:

Details of complaint:
The journalist - After the magistrate dismissed the murder-charges in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court- on June 11 2012 --
failed to report that fact - as a matter of fact that story remains unchanged on that website as if it is still an accurate fact - which it is not. The least your journalist can do it to correct/update that June 4 story with the new information.

Story in The Star: "There were supposed to be enough guns there to start a war – at least 16 firearms, ammunition and 15 swords.
"But on Monday the police had mud on their faces when it was revealed in Germiston Magistrate's court that those firearms were pellet guns - the type used by children to hunt birds. Outside the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, two families cried.
Tears of relief streamed down the faces of (the white family:)
1. Braam Harmse, 50,
2. his wife Susan, 50,
3. their sons Braam Harmse, 20,
4. and Danie Harmse, 19,
5. their son-in-law Chris Duvenage, 25,
6. and Wesley Courtney, 27,
The magistrate withdrew the charges against the above six people of murdering Sibusiso Titimani, 15, more than three weeks ago.
The grandmother Nosinara Titimani’s tears, however, were of despair and disbelief that her grandson’s murder was still a long way from being solved. Sibusiso was attacked while walking with his 18-year-old friend along an open field in Primrose, Germiston, on a Saturday afternoon last month. Three men wearing balaclavas stabbed Sibusiso in the head. He died from his wounds later that day at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
Sibusiso’s family and residents of the Primrose informal settlement said at the time that 'the murder was "racially motivated, as they knew that white men would sit at that open field dressed in camouflage clothes and balaclavas, claiming to want to avenge the death of AWB leader Eugene Terre’Blanche"
.More than a week ago, the six (white) family members were arrested in their home in Primrose East after (it was claimed at the time) 16 firearms, 15 swords, a swastika badge, camouflage clothing and ammunition were found by police officers during their raid.
However, it appears "police were premature in linking their findings to Sibusiso’s murder."
Magistrate Deon Snyman said: “This case had been postponed for an identity parade, but the State witnesses couldn’t point out anyone as they (attackers) wore balaclavas. "The State is not proceeding with the charge of murder as there is no link whatsoever."
Despite suspect Duvenage being pointed out during the identity parade by one of the Primrose residents as 'having been involved in another attack last year', the State also conceded it lacked a strong case against him as he had a solid alibi.Harmse and his wife Susan still face a (minor) charge of possession of an unlicensed firearm, but the court heard that that firearm did not belong to them – they had been keeping it for a friend. The couple did have two firearm licences and the rest of the firearms were, in fact, pellet guns.

It is up to the courts to decided,” she said.Duvenage was granted R1,000 (about 50 Pounds UK) bail for 'attempted murder' and Harmse and his wife were each granted R1 000 bail for the 'possession of an unlicensed firearm'. The case was postponed until July 13. "In South Africa we already have a growing problem where press freedom is in danger of severe censorship by the current ANC-regime - yet at the same time funds are given to newspapers like these, by the SA government, in order to extend their political arm for biased propaganda news. The Afrikaner as minority-nation, is a member part of the UNPO.org - which is a democractic international organisation based in the Hague, The Netherlands, with 140 million members from all over the world, representing minority-groups who strive for self-determination rights in their own countries: The Afrikaners in South Africa are an ethnically diverse, very different and thus highly visible minority group and its leaders and members believe in maintaining/obtaining their own minority cultural rights. They belong to a politically-unrepresented group of people inside their own country and are part of a wider worldwide family of such minorities all having the same peaceful goal: such as the including Tibetans, Aborigenes, the Palestinians, Pygmies andsimilar first-nation indigenous minorities such as the First Nations in North America.
The tone of this particular article "The Post Apartheid Racists', implies that even wanting to say that they are striving for self-determination for their own small minority would be a "racist" idea, when it is obvious what the UNPO.org stands for which is a non-racial and non-violent organisation. The journalist and the newspaper enforce stereotyping and racism directed at a larger group by very poor unbiased reporting. As an Afrikaner, I personally also feel the brunt of the impact this article makes on people who are not informed about the Afrikaner's history inside South Africa. People reading articles like these -- which describes a very small 100-member radical fringe group inside our community - will be under the impression that ALL Afrikaners are like this very small group of people described in this article. As an Afrikaner myself I feel the effect of such reporting. Due to the unbalanced reporting in such one sided articles, the readers who do not know the Afrikaners are led to believe and assume that it's 'OK to be racist towards the Afrikaners because they are all 'racists' - when in fact the article describes a very small fringe-group expressing such radical ideas.
Journalists use such sensation to sell newspapers and using such a tiny fringe-group of 'Afrikaner racists" accomplish that goal, journalists waste no time in making a documentary, or writing an article about such a small group,. and in this case implying that all (3,5-million) Afrikaners are like that, that they all support these sentiments expressed by this small fringe-group. The rest of the law-abiding Afrikaners such as myself, directly feel the brunt of this stereotyping. Since the last Afrikaner president, F.W. de Klerk, ended the system of apartheid and handed the hegemony of South Africa into the hands of a black-majority government, we the next generation of Afrikaners have been trying to build our identity into something positiv. However one-sided articles such as this one, seem to want to persist on vilify the Afrikaners' identity, when young Afrikaners such as myself, are sincerely hoping and striving hard to move away from our political past - and move forward instead.

The claims about the behaviour of the Afrikaner family – arrested for a murder they had no knowledge of whatsoever – as quoted by the black community in Primrose -- indeed bear a startling resemblance to a description in an article by SA-based journalist Tichaona Zindoga, writing in ‘The Post Apartheid Racists,’ April 2 2012. A formal complaint about this article below was lodged on April 6 2012 by an Afrikaner, Henri le Riche in the UK.
It is noticable that the journalist below - also concluded with a personal observation, namely with a warning that this incident described did not represent an ‘isolated fringe group’ but instead is proof that ‘ the Afrikaners could wage a war’:
Tichaona Zindoga: “The temptation is to think of this as a fringe movement: but consider this (…) the Afrikaners are a minority: they could well WAGE A WAR and still argue they are ‘defending themselves’ (…) South Africa must resolve its issues before they explode into CIVIL UNREST.’ (our emphasis).
